Excellent place ! I came here instead of starbucks to try something different and I'll definitely be back ! I ordered my boyfriend a bfast plate and he said it was the best breakfast ever ! Eggs cooked perfectly as ordered and the bacon alone was worth the price ! Thick , crispy and lightly smoked ! Worth every penny ! Coffee was good too ! I've been here a few times to study and you can say I'm a fan! This place offers a nice peaceful environment to study and just relax with some friends. The cafe itself is really large so finding seating is usually not at a problem (can't say the same about DT Campbell parking though), prices are really fair and the this is going to sound weird but i really like their sandwiches! (they are just regular basic sandwiches with bread but they always hit the spot for me). I will say the breakfast burrito is TINY though so I'll probably be skipping that in the future. Coffee is great and what I really like is that the coffee comes out hot but not BOILING hot like most places and you have to wait 10-15 minutes before you can even take a sip. Idk? This place is a bit off to me. I can't explain it. I felt like I was teleported to the old western time where cowboys and happy western people met up for breakfast and coffee. It's weird because I was literally the only brown man there LMFAO. Sure I got stares from people lol and that was weird. I noticed the different coffees laying on the side of the wall with an old machine type thingy. These were coffee buckets, bags, etc. there was a lot and it seemed like you can get unlimited refills as long as you purchased a coffee cup. There were great looking breakfast pastries too! There is a lot of space around here too. No need to stand and wait. I ordered the Mexican mocha which was basically espresso, milk and cinnamon powder all mixed in lol. I could've made this at my Starbucks. It wasn't truly surprising. The lady made great foam to top it off though! I'll give it that. Idk, the menu didn't really stick out other than oregon chai and this Mexican mocha. Maybe a few coffee cakes here and there but nothing. The crowd was awkward too. I wandered in here this morning after getting an angel reading with Rockie at Moonfrye a few doors down. I've always been supportive of Coffee houses that *aren't* Starbucks so I was excited to try out this local spot. I also saw the "yelp" sticker on the door and thought to myself that if it's "yelp" approved, then I could trust that the place would be at the very least-- decent. I was surprised to see how large the inside was with ample seating for folks to sit down, chit chat, study, surf the net, etc.. The coffee menu had lots of items to choose from, and the glass case in front had baked goods from chocolate chip scones, blueberry muffins, cheesecakes, fritters, and way too many things that I really should be staying away from. But I digress. What was I there for again? Oh yes.. Coffee.. I ended up picking out the Mexican Mocha and it was yummmmayyy.. A tad chocolatey, a tad cinnamoney, and just the right amount of sweet that didn't overpower the coffee taste. I loved it. read more

Ok, so the mocha wasn't anything special (actually bland and needs deeper chocolate as well as coffee overtones) but you should see the bathroom! So clean it makes you want to do your business in there even if you did not really need to go! If they put the same pride and passion into making coffee drinks as they do cleaning this place would indubitably be the best in the valley! read more

Walking in it looked like a chill place. One Asian guy working the register. The wife and I order two lates. We were the first to be served before a group came in. 30 minutes later we still hadn't got our coffee in eat all the other people had come and gone. Something was going on between the guy at the register and the girl that came out to help. It you can call it helping. She just seemed to want to bicker with the Asian guy. He finally realized I hadn't got my drink and made it up really fast. I got my lukewarm late and left. This is my first bad review ever and this place deserves it. read more

I went to Orchard Valley Coffee for the first time to have a tea drink and relax with my Mom. The first thing I noticed when I entered the cafe was the sheer amount of space the building covered. There was plenty of tables but it was still spacious. The baked goods looked amazing but we stuck with drinks. My mom got black iced tea and I got a blended chai. Both drinks were good. The black tea was brewed well and the blended chai was nice even though it wasn't especially spice heavy. The baristas were friendly and the cafe had a relaxed with music set at the right level. I will definitely come back once I am in Downtown Campbell again since Orchard Valley Coffee is a nice space for working or relaxing. read more

I do not recommend this coffee house; go someplace else. The pastry that I bought was in the wrong place on the shelf and when I tasted it I realized that it was not banana nut as I wanted. When I asked the barista if I could exchange it for the one that I wanted, she gave me a terrible, terrible attitude and attitude and said that I already tasted it and no she would not exchange it for the one that I wanted. I was appauled, never, ever, ever has this happened at Starbucks if there was a mistake or error. They would immediately correct it and apologize no matter whose fault it was. We wound up leaving and went to Starbucks instead lol. read more

Came here to meet a friend for a long chat. This coffee place is incredibly spacious with certain museum quality to it. It's a friendly environment with people who appear to spend hours, if not days here. There are also these large plastic buckets of various coffee beans and an ancient industrial strength roaster in the back. Reminded me of scenes from the 1800's. Nevertheless, the ladies behind the counter were very friendly and answered all of my tough questions about the different coffees and green teas they offer. The ghosts of Orchard Valley Coffee must have subconsciously warned me ahead to bring cash which I sometimes don't because come on, everyone takes credit cards these days! By Golly good thing I brought some because they only take cash. Great place for a relaxing afternoon hangout. read more

I just went there yesterday for the first time ever! I got a Oregon Sweet Chai, it was very tasteful. The guy was very helpful and we had coffee talk. My experience was really good. "Orchard Valley Coffee". With such a pleasant name, you'd think the experience would be just as satisfying right? Not really. WIFI absolutely sucked. It was so slow and they put gigantic banner ads at the top of each page. Since I did pay for a really high-priced drink, I kind of feel like I want to be taken care of. They had local musicians playing guitar (or amateurs that plugged in) but they were not very good or bad either way. The counter staff was pathetic. Not there when I walked up and not friendly. It was one of those cute teens that looked they wanted to be somewhere else. Well thanks, because I'd have preferred to be somewhere else. After all the reviews, I had to go. I got an iced coffee and a quiche. The place is spacious and rustic enough to know you aren't in a place that had all the charm unpacked from boxes and promptly hung from the walls. Big leather sofas and lots of chairs fill the room almost to capacity. I'm not sure how some of those strollers navigate it all! Anyway, the iced coffee was good. I'm coming off a few weeks of the Starbucks, so of course it's not as strong. Does anyone make their iced coffee as strong as Starbucks? I find myself wondering if that's a good thing, unfortunately if I go iced americano, I find myself putting in 3+ shots, so yes, independent coffee shops, don't skimp on the coffee here! Good flavor though (I go black on this). I got a Greek quiche. Now, I can't call this a traditional quiche, and by some standards it was horrible, but here's why I liked it. It wasn't terribly eggy and they used a deep dish. Lots of veggies and cheese, and a good crust. Here's where it gets tricky, the top was a bit over cooked, making the cheese that jerky-like texture, something I really enjoy, not always. And not always the markings of a good quiche, but something about it all worked really, really well. I went mid-weekday morning and everyone there was retired looking. Or a mom. I'll go back later, with the lappy, and just chill. It seems like a great place to get some work done, or to do some focused reading. read more

Pretty much a downtown landmark at this point. Orchard Valley has been in this location for as long as I can remember. It's a great place to pop in and grab a coffee before enjoying the Sunday Farmer's Market or a casual spot to meet up with a friends and settle into their comfy leather sofa's. You'll notice that most of the tables are filled with folks lingering over a good book, the local paper or typing away on their computers. I guess that's my nice way of saying it could be hard to find a place to sit. The coffee drinks are solid and the baked goodies are yum. I came in last Sunday and there was a pretty hefty line almost out the door which is okay except I couldn't help but think it was odd that on such a busy day they would only have one person making drinks. Two would have been more efficient. Any-ho, the place is clean, comfortable, bright and always smells delicious! I don't drink coffee very often but if I'm downtown and in need of some caffeine, this is surely my go to place. read more

This place has the worst customer service. The man and woman working today were so rude. If milk is streamed so hot that it burns a customers mouth the barista should not give attitude to remake. The staff was really nice. But the Salad I bought for $6.50 had super gross cucumbers in it that LITERALLY fell apart. It was like it was disintegrating right before my eyes. My fork touched it and it just collapsed into mush. It was horrifying. I took out all the cucumbers as best as I could and ate the rest but I just felt disturbed the whole time I was eating them. I was there to study in the evening so I did not want to buy a coffee so late. The lighting is so dim that by the time I left my eyes were so tired from that yellow light. If the sun goes down, do not come here to study. You need to have natural light shining through those windows if you want to be able to see afterwards. Really not good for your eye sight. However, the coffee shop has a great atmosphere. I don't want to under-rate them since I only had one experience. But maybe ask them if their salad is fresh and when they cut their cucumbers? MUSHY CUCUMBER IN SALAD IS HORRIBLE. So just ask even if the question sounds stupid. :) read more

Best breakfast burrito! Ask for hash browns option. You can ask for vegetarian too, but we had the bacon one . So delicious! I'm picky about Mexican food as I grew up in SoCal with authentic one of a kind Mexican restaurants . In my 47 years in NorCal , I've been disappointed by a lot of Mexican cuisine . Orchard's special recipe morning bun was incredible too! Not too sweet. Moist & yummy ! Carmelized top tooNice people at the register as well. Coffee was great too . You pay for small, medium, or large . ( we didn't get a latte or anything fancy ). They have several types of coffee to choose from & you can serve yourself . This place has so much potential and has so far to go at the same time. We go every Sunday to get cash from the ATM before the Campbell Farmers Market. The food is so much worse than it looks. The pastries are lacking in that extra love factor that makes pastries so desire able. The coffee is out in pour it yourself containers with many signs about the refills costing money and not being free. I have not tried the breakfast here but it is served on cheap paper plates and leaves a lot to be desired from the looks of it. I asked the barrista a question and she was not helpful whatsoever. Regardless, it is in a great location and the coffee does taste pretty good! This place will serve as an ATM stop and not much more for us in the future. We have it our tenth chance and it continues to under impress. read more

Currently visiting Campbell for a couple of days traveling from Southern California. Whenever we travel I love to try coffee spots. Luckily we're staying at the Campbell inn so OVC is walking distance. My oat milk latte was amazing. Perfect amount of foam/coffee. The staff was also very friendly. Love how uncommercial this place is! Great place to be quiet! Pleasant place to talk quietly with another person! So opposite than STARBUCKS! Great snacks and cakes! The largest variety of coffee condiments in the entire country at one coffee shop including syrups, sugars, sugar substitutes and even includes loose brown sugar!! The biggest blessing was that they now close at 9 as opposed to a few years ago when the closed at 8. What a contrast to the crazy hustle bustle of Friday night downtown Campbell!!!!! read more

I was treated horribly by the woman behind the counter making my coffee, I didn't catch her name but she was an older Hispanic Woman, I have seen her there before. I simply ordered a pumpkin spice latte with an extra shot, I picked up my drink and it was totally wrong, I simply let her know it was wrong and she raised her voice at me and was rolling her eyes at me the whole time! She blamed me for the drink being wrong! She said I ordered it wrong!! I was totally shocked, I have never been treated so horribly by anyone! I stayed calm and just wanted to get my drink right and get the heck out of there!! Horrible customer service!! She however was all smiles and very sweet to other customers, weird, I have not been back since! Definitely need to work on her anger and customer service. read more

I ordered a decaf latte after dinner and I'm pretty sure they gave me regular latte... It's now almost 2:30 AM and I'm wide awake! I've had decaf latte at Starbucks and other coffee shops and never had trouble sleeping. The guy at the register who took my order seemed distracted and gave me an impatient look when I asked if they have decaf latte. Now I'm not sure if it was a honest mistake or if they intentionally messed up my order. Stay away from this coffee shop if you are sensitive to caffeine like me- they don't take your order seriously. Who knows what they give you! read more

Nice staff and a good place to either work on your computer or visit with your friends. The oatmeal is a great go-to breakfast (inexpensive and yummy) and they have the best "iced thai tea" and I'm pretty picky. With the leaves turning and the loss of daylight comes everyone's favorite season. The neighborhood stroll downtown reminds me of those simple days where life was carefree and simple. Today's venture took me to Orchard Valley Coffee in downtown Campbell. The menu items appear simple with little flare and creativity; with the limited choices, I went with an all time favorite of mine: Caramel Macchiato. When served, it came in a paper cup. This surprised me since I mentioned it was for here and most of the patrons have mugs. They were gracious enough to switch to a mug, however they were reluctant to remake the drink. The coffee itself was satisfactory with lined caramel gracing the milk froth providing sweetness. As I consumed the drink, I never really tasted caffeine, but rather dull warm milk. For food I had the bear claw pastry with honey almonds on top. Again, I was not too satisfied considering it's pretty late in the day and quite possibly the bear claw may have been leftovers from the morning rush. Interior decor is a wide open spread with some classic coffee grinders, selection displays, and framed paintings/photos on the walls. If you're a local in Campbell, then this is a fine place to frequent. However, I wouldn't recommend this coffee house as a destination location, you may be somewhat disappointed and wondering why you didn't just stay home. read more
