Financial district location is close to some of the shopping we did while in San Francisco. The ambience is more on the trendy side - wicker light fixtures, clean, lines, etc. A good place for a business lunch or casual date. We were a family of three adults, enjoying a late lunch, early supper. The food is presented very well - appealing and substantial enough for appetizers or smaller entrées. The service is extremely spotty. Even though we were one of two tables, we had to flag down the server three times to ask for our beverage. They were very pleasant but could use a little bit more training and urgency.

Interior at Osha was so pretty and tropical. It's very clean inside with the thai theme. BBQ beef (4/5): presentation was beautiful. Beef was nicely grilled and seasoned with a sweet and savory bbq sauce. Came with a side of cilantro parsley dip. Also came with a side of rice and a house salad, which was refreshing. Wished I had gotten the papaya salad... next time! Location is difficult to park, street parking only.

I finally stopped in for the first time & was thoroughly glad i did! I ordered the BBQ beef plate with sticky rice and papaya salad. All three dishes were 10/10, service was great and pricing was more than reasonable! Can't wait to be back!

Osha Thai is an oldie; and still a goodie. We used to come here after the clubs in the 90's. Nowadays, they close early at 10pm. Some of our old favorites are still around like, crab fried rice and pad thai. Their menu changed a lot. We ordered crab fried rice $23 (w/fried egg +$3), papaya salad $18, crying tiger (BBQ rib-eye steak) $29 and Thai iced teas $6 each.. The food is good. I like how you can customize the spiciness of the papaya salad. They did a great job with the remodeling. Comfortable seats, marble tables, mood lighting, spacious seating. The only things missing are cloth napkins and fresh cut flowers at the table. Service was excellent. Great job everyone at Osha Thai. So many good memories here.

The food was fine, nothing extraordinary in my opinion. Would eat again, but would not go out of my way to come here. The restaurant was cute and decorated well, but being in the heart of the Financial District, it felt industrial almost. The service was a little slow in my opinion considering there weren't many patrons.

We ordered the Papaya Salad, Veg Spring Rolls, House Favorite Yellow Curry, Eggplant Basil, Pad Kee Mao, and White Rice. The Papaya Salad was a bit disappointing. It was overly sour and tasted more citrusy than fresh and lime-forward. The Veg Spring Rolls were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. The biggest letdown was the Yellow Curry. It lacked the rich flavor I typically expect from a Thai curry, and some of the vegetables seemed undercooked. The Eggplant Basil was also underwhelming. It lacked the distinct basil flavor that the dish is known for. Since we ordered the vegetarian version, it came loaded with a mix of other vegetables, which made it feel more like a generic vegetable stir-fry than an eggplant basil dish. The Pad Kee Mao was the standout of the meal. It had good flavor and was enjoyable, although the portion size felt a bit small for the price. Overall, the food was ok, but nothing really stood out. I've had better Thai food elsewhere, both in terms of flavor and value. While the experience wasn't bad, it wasn't memorable enough to make me want to return. For the price point, I expected more authentic flavors and better execution.

I only knocked the restaurant down by a star because the servers were pretty pushy with wanting us to leave despite the multitude of empty tables around us. Besides that, the food is really delicious. The papaya salad is amazing if you like spice! There was a great kick and acidity to the papaya salad distributed throughout the fresh vegetables in the dish. I highly recommend! The pumpkin fries were also a great choice: crispy fry with soft pumpkin inside, maintaining the overall pumpkin flavor profile. The sauce they provide on the side (sweet and sour plum sauce), cut through the fry but didn't overwhelm the pumpkin itself. For myself, I got the yellow curry with chicken. The curry dishes do not come with rice, so you will have to order that on the side. The curry is not only a generous portion, but FULL of ingredients. They do not skimp on the meat, potatoes, etc. Highly recommend trying Farmhouse Kitchen for some flavorful Thai dishes!

Every bite and sip was delicious. We ordered family style and shared everything. The service was also fantastic, even though we got there late and didn't realize until the food was beginning to come out that it was last call, our server and all the other workers that came by were all so friendly and made us feel welcome. We ate quickly and boxed the rest so they could get home. What we ordered: Tom Kha soup - coconutty, creamy, a lil sour and a lil spice. Delicious. Fresh rolls - crisp and springy with lots of greens and tofu and a good peanut sauce to dip. Crispy pork belly sweet basil - the CRISP and flavor of this pork belly was to die for. Chicken larb - this was my favorite dish of the night. Heavy basil/herbs, just a little kick from the chilies, full on flavor explosion. I will be thinking of this dish for a long time haha. Beef Pad See Ew - chewy in the most delicious and favor packed way. Love pad see ew and this one was great! Pad cha scallop - Came out sizzling on a cast iron! This dish was fun and the scallops while small, were fresh and had lots of flavor. And finally, for dessert we ordered the black rice durian. At the entrance, one of the hosts, who I believe was named Victor, was extremely rude about our stroller. We were told that we could not bring the stroller inside, which we were willing to accept. However, instead of politely asking us to unlock it or move it ourselves, he physically blocked my wife while she was holding our baby and then forcefully tried to push the stroller himself. The stroller was locked at the time, and if I had not stepped in quickly to stop him and unlock it, it could have been damaged. His behavior was aggressive, careless, and completely inappropriate, especially toward a family with an infant. He then moved our stroller to a storage area in the back. Later, because the restaurant was extremely loud and our baby started crying, we wanted to get a toy from the stroller to comfort our child. At first, the same host refused and again physically blocked my wife. Only after we repeatedly asked were we finally allowed to retrieve the toy from our own stroller. After we sat down and were preparing to order, our baby was still crying because the noise level inside the restaurant was extremely high. A female server, who I believe was named Katie, made us feel extremely uncomfortable, unwelcome, and singled out. She first appeared to whisper with the host while looking at us, which made us feel judged and disrespected. Then, in front of us, she told my wife to take our crying baby outside. I questioned why we were being targeted when the restaurant itself was already very loud, with many guests speaking loudly around us. She claimed this was the restaurant's "policy," but when I asked to see the policy, she could not provide it. What made the situation even worse was the attitude. Instead of showing basic empathy or professionalism toward a family with a baby, some staff members were dismissive, arrogant, and treated us in a way that made us feel discriminated against, humiliated, and unwelcome as a family with a baby. I have never experienced this kind of service at a restaurant before, especially not at a restaurant with Michelin-level pricing and expectations. To be fair, the Asian server who later took our order was polite and professional. However, by that point, the overall experience had already been ruined. The food itself was only average in my opinion and did not feel worth the nearly $200 we spent for two people. It definitely did not meet the standard I would expect from a Michelin-recognized restaurant. I will not return, and I would strongly caution families with babies or young children to think twice before dining here. Some of the staff's attitude toward families was unacceptable, and our experience made us feel deeply disrespected. Ratings: Food: 2/5 Service: 1/5 Atmosphere: 1/5 Overall: 1/5

Spiced well and very filling. We didn't expect the pork to be cut so large and mixed into the rice, but it was very tender and easy to still eat. We would've expected the pork to be sliced maybe in half or fourths to make the dish feel like a "pork fried rice" than a fried rice + pork mix, but it still worked well and if you love pork, this will definitely be your fix! 5/5 - Pad Thai - We thought the restaurant nailed this classic noodle dish.
