I was in Burbank looking for a quick lunch because I had a packed day ahead and I stumbled upon Pablito's Tacos on Yelp. I decided to try Pablito's Tacos because of the overall positive reviews. I ordered lomo saltaldo and it came out super quick! It was a bit bizarre because the food's taste and texture didn't seem like it's been sitting for a long time. It was truly fast food but with quality. The steak was good and not chewy at all. The rice and fries drenched in sauce was tasty too. Everything about the dish was good. Overall I enjoyed Pablito's Taco and would visit again when I'm in town. read more

I really love the tortillas they use here! They are thick and have a great texture. They use them for tacos, burritos, mulitas and quesadillas. They are unique and will actually be the biggest draw for me returning. The next draw is the meat variety. You can get the standard meat options, but you can also get lomo saltado! I had 3 queso tacos (asada, chicharron and lomo saltado). Asada was my favorite. The lomo saltado was different and so delicious. It had grilled onions and tomato on it with the steak. I was expecting pork belly for the "chicharron" but it was crispy pork. If they called it "carnitas" I would have had my expectations met. Our group also had a quesadilla, mulita, surf and turf burrito, lomo saltado and ceviche. Everything was great. Their green sauce is delicious also. The horchata was not grainy, which is definitely a plus. I would have given them 4 stars, but the uniqueness of their offerings bumped it up to 5! read more

So apparently I've been living under a rock my entire life. I went to Tijuana a couple of months ago and had a vampiro taco for the first time. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Since I got back, I've been on a mission to find one that matched it. I've tried several places, but Pablitos is definitely the best of them all. It's got that smoky charcoal grill flavor, the cheese is melted perfectly, the kick from the salsa and flavor from the "crack sauce" puts it over the top! Servings in TJ were more generous for half the price, but that's expected Outside of that, these were PERFECT!! read more

Yep, I completely get why all the 5 star reviews. Those places is really good! The Carne asada was on point. The meat wasn't fatty at all and they cook theeat a little crispy which adds an amazing taste and texture to it. The traditional burrito was delicious and had the right balance of ingredients 5 out of 5 for sure! We also ordered the fish tacos because I was craving fish and I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. I would ce back just for the fish tacos We also got a chicken quesadilla and the chicken was seasoned to perfection. The quesadilla itself was a little overloaded and difficult to eat but it was really good The sauces... wow! I saw the red sauce and at first look I was expecting to be disappointed but I wasn't. It was the right balance of flavor and spice. Ans their green sauce was also legit I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot! read more

It's hard to find a place with great Mexican and Peruvian food. Loved there we tried their loma saltado a few months ago and loved it. Today we tried their tacos and it they were amazing. I would definitely recommend their shrimp taco and their green sauce. read more

I live on the Westside, but eat at Pablito's whenever I'm in the area. The food is always delicious. Had the fish taco for the first time and it was sooo good, perfectly crispy. Today, I ate in at the brick n mortar location for the first time and the staff was super nice. It's got a a cool casual eatery vibe. Some cool pop art pieces on the wall and booths/tables for you to seat yourself. If you're in the area, definitely 100% grab a bite here. They also do a 4% discount on cash! read more

Ordered from this spot several times. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The lomo saltado burrito was unexpectedly good, they nailed the lomo saltado flavor and it worked perfectly as a burrito. Their tortillas are made in house and they're delicious. They also have taco specials on Tuesday that have become somewhat of a tradition in our office. read more

I've been here for a few yelp events in past but we recently stopped in for lunch on our own and experience was just as good. It offers both a taco stand outside and restaurant style dining inside. Though the tacos looked inviting, we dined inside their kitchen restaurant for this occasion. The restaurant is small, but charming and cozy. Colorful artworks all over the restaurant which include murals, painting and nostalgic photos compliment the space perfectly, showcasing their Latin heritage. Atmosphere is casual, you simply walk up to counter, place your order and food is brought to your table. The restaurant serves classic Peruvian dishes such as ceviches, paella and lomo saltado. We shared Peruvian paella ($20) which was filled with seafood (calamari, shrimp, octopus and mussels) and cooked in aji panca sauce on bed of rice, so sabroso! We paired it with a plate of fried plantains. It was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, excellent sidekick and lovely complement to the paella. We also got the pork version of their lomo saltado ($15). It was just pure perfection, right amount of everything! I love their green sauce, just smother it on everything and you're good to go. Good flavor and nice kick to support it. The portion sizes were big, and reasonable for the price. I definitely recommend this place if you are in Burbank and craving authentic Peruvian Food. This is next to Burbank Airport. So whenever I forgot my boarding time and come early, I make sure to stop by here. The vampiro tacos are aight.. but the actual tacos are legit bomb. The tortilla is not the typical tortilla you find anywhere. The chewiness is beyond this world. read more

Tasty food- my husband likes the lomo saltado. I tried the fried rice today and it had good flavor. My fish taco was ok- I've had much better in San Diego. A bit overpriced overall. Easy website for pickup and delivery. Wait times aren't too bad. Prices are a little steep but the portions are huge so that makes up for it! Pros: Green Sauce- spicy and delicious Chile Relleno Burrito- cheesy goodness Bacon Breakfast Burrito- super filling!! I'm not a big fan of their carne asada/Lomo. Every time I've had it it's been too gristly. Just not for me. All and all, check them out! read more

This place is one of my favorites. I really love the food here. They have such a great variety of options and their crack sauce is fire, although they tend to be a little greedy with their sauces. They have started selling bottles of it. I love the tacos, the surf and turf styled burrito, the fries. All of it has been delicious. It's best that you order ahead and pick up, they're pretty busy. Especially on Tuesdays, line can get out the door. If you're looking for good Mexican or Peruvian food I really recommend this place. I don't think they have put any seating back since the pandemic but I've sat outside and it's chill. Definitely keep coming back! read more

Pablito's is my go-to spot in Burbank for burritos. I ordered the California Burrito with lomo saltado meat. Initially, I was like dang that's expensive for a burrito, but when I saw it in front of me I knew exactly why. This thing is the size of California. I really enjoyed the flavor. It was super wet inside which made the fries soggy, which was a little bit of a let down. In the California burritos I've had in the past at other places, I could feel the crispiness of the fries inside. Al Pastor taco was good but not the best that I've had. read more

If you want one of the best surf and turf burrito in Burbank then hit up Pablito's Tacos. The food is tasty and savory. The burrito was well equipped with shrimp and pieces of steak. The cilantro sauce was creamy and finger licking good. The mulita with the pork was cheesy and delightful. The vampiro had a good crunch and the pineapple on the al pastor is a perfect pairing. I was craving a burrito for lunch, so decided to stop by here for the first time to pick up a Chile relleno burrito with carne asada. It was really good! Not as great as the Chile relleno burritos at La Azteca in East LA, but it comes pretty close and it's way closer to home! The tortilla was delicious though, and the asada was tender and flavorful. The staff here are also super welcoming and friendly. I'm happy that there's such a good place to get Mexican food in Burbank, and I'd definitely come back again to try the other items on their menu! read more

I was in NOHO looking for some good tacos. Decided to try Pablitos Tacos. The only good thing they had there was the tortillas and the green salsa. The chicken was so bad we just dipped the tortillas in the salas. The place was clean but the food was not good. My $9 plain fries looked old and the guy at the register was super rude. 4% charge if you aren't paying with cash. 10% mandatory service fee. This is LITERALLY a self-serve restaurant! Just increase your menu price 14%. The menu is LITERALLY digital. It could easily be updated at any given time. $38 for 2 mediocre burritos. The ingredients inside of the burrito weren't mixed together, so you either got a bite of only rice or a bite of only beans. Skimping on the meat, probably 4-5 small chunks of chicken. The green sauce is really good, so that's worth noting. read more

This place sucks. I'm also usually open minded about restaurants. The service was okay the lady there was nice BUT SHE LIED TO US when we wondered where our avocado was she said the burrito didn't have it yet we check the menu and BOOM there it is "guacamole". The burrito was sad it was only meat, fries, and cheese. A LOT OF CHEESE! it was over flowing with cheese literally could not taste the burrito it tasted like cheese whiz. If you like real Mexican tacos and support local business...this is the place. We need to support the "brick and mortar" spots or they will disappear. Tacos are everywhere but coming here you get the real deal. They perfected the mix of spices, meats and don't overdo the toppings. They do more than just tacos. Their Peruvian mix dishes are simple, tasty and priced right. Pay cash and you will save more. But don't be looking for Pablito, instead look at the menu carefully to get yr order right. read more

This is my third time coming back, now to discovered that they charge for their special "sauce" $1.00. And I don't mind paying but I am ordering tacos they should come with at least 1 complementary sauce but NO they charge, OK I paid and guess what I got? Not even a full cup of sauce , maybe is like a third of the cup... nothing. Super disappointed and honestly I won't be coming back to this place. read more

In December 2018, Danny Rodriguez decided to merge his two culinary passions into the creation of PABLITO’S Tacos. Pablito's tacos tacos would have the hand made tortillas , mesquite grill and free guacamole for that Tijuana explosive flavor, along with the Peruvian touch. One stand in the parking lot of PABLITO’s kitchen and the rest is history. Named top 10 taco in LA by Eater LA, top 20 pastor in LA by LA TACO, top 5 taco in San Fernando valley by LA TACO, mentions by LA Times, Dine LA, Thrillist and others. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. The food and cafe de olla are worth it.

Side salad was super fresh. Everything was so delicious! Portions nice; prices fair. I am impressed with Wild Carvery because I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and the quality is high. I also suspect that they make their own pickles? But I'm not sure. If quality and freshness are important to you, I highly recommend checking out Wild Carvery. I would rate the food quality at a solid 100%. Unfortunately, the service significantly detracts from the experience. The man at the counter often appears in a bad mood, treating customers poorly. This issue initially led me to switch to takeout orders, as the onsite experience is unmatched. During a visit over Thanksgiving weekend, the same individual was working. His curt manner made us so uncomfortable that we decided to wait outside after ordering. When our order was ready, his dismissive attitude persisted. My partner's attempt to order a Michelada was met with a condescending response, despite visible ingredients for the drink, resulting in him settling for a beer. Later, when I ordered additional tacos, the man's demeanor remained unwelcoming. Despite this, I later purchased a bottle of their excellent sauce, though the interaction was as uncomfortable as the previous ones. I love their food, but it's challenging to support a business that makes me feel disrespected. Fortunately, there's a new location in Studio City and pop-up stands, so I can still enjoy their offerings. This place is amazing. I ordered the Steak Lomo and it was tender and full of flavor. The combination of onions and tomatoes with the steak and seaming is to die for. They brought out a green sauce in a jar and it is added a little heat and took it from a 10 to a 15. This place is a must try! It is my first time here and it for sure won't be my last! Well I was honest, my first time was not my last, but I wish it was. I went back tonight and got he Steak Lomo, and it was horrible. It tasted like straight ginger. That was the only flavor I could distinguish. I literally through the whole plate away. I ordered the Steak Lomo with pesto and they were out of pesto. So I got the Steak Lomo that I loved so much the first time. I don't know what happened to this place, but I will not be back. It tasted like a bad Chinese dish. Advise for the owner..whatever you changed, you need to change back or I don't see this place lasting another year. read more

To date, I had tried Peruvian food three times. I found it to be kind of bland and not my style. So, when my coworker suggested this spot for lunch, I was skeptical. I am glad I gave it one more try, because this was delicious.I ordered the steak saltado. Coworker ordered the seafood saltado. I LOVE spicy food, and while the green sauce is tasty, it has no kick to it at all. The dude working the register hooked me up with the habanero salsa that the cook makes for the kitchen staff. That stuff really slapped. My food took a while to come out, but it was so tender and drenched in juice. I am not a fan of soggy french fries, but the flavor of the meat juice made it acceptable. The people were extremely friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant is very fun. Tip: They don't serve alcohol, but you can go to the liquor store next door and bring it in with you. read more

Went last week with a friend and got the ceviche and chicharron sandwich. Both had multiple layers of flavor as opposed to traditional places where it's just either sweet, salty, sour, spicy. The sandwich had this nice crusty bread that was soft when you bit into it, then you got this sweetness from the sweet potato and the salty/crunchy taste from the pork, all top off with the delicious sauce. I was blown away on my first bite. The ceviche itself was really really good. This one had the sweet/tart from the marinade they used for the fish as well as a spicy component too which I don't find too often in ceviches at peruvian restaurants. Traditional or not, it's damn good. I went when they only had the food truck but I am definitely coming back when their restaurant opens to see what other concoctions they whip up. read more

I recently visited Pablito's in Burbank after not having it in years. The last time was back when they were based in Downtown LA. The nostalgia was real, and I was excited to try it again. I tried their regular tacos, which were just okay. Nothing special, but nothing offensive either. However, the fish tacos missed the mark. They didn't taste fresh, more like something out of a freezer box. Not terrible, but definitely not what I was hoping for. It lacked that crispness and flavor punch you want in a fish taco. That said, I'm not writing this place off. There's still a lot on the menu I haven't tried like their pizza and other meals. So I'll definitely give it another shot. Just wouldn't recommend the fish tacos based on this visit. Still, the place has potential. Hoping for better luck next time. read more

They take it a step further and add a trendy twist to some of our most popular dishes that are also incredibly delicious (lomo saltado fries, chicharrón fries, Peruvian sushi, pollo a la brasa chicken and waffles etc.) Lomo saltado steak is tender and smokey, and the lomo saltado fries are a fun twist of this famous dish. This address on Burbank Blvd has been 3 different things in the past 5 years but now finally we hope Pablitos will stay forever. This food is nothing short of completely delicious. They currently use their food truck parked out front as their kitchen while they rebuild the inside but you would never guess that there isn't a full kitchen in operation. My wife and I had ceviche and a pork sandwich and fettuccine with lomo beef (a special cut). Well just wow. The most awesome ceviche we've ever tasted. And they have a special house sauce that is so good we told the owner Danny to bottle it. Please try this place. You will not be disappointed in any way. During my last visit, I opted for the tortas, and they were not only one of the most delicious I've had but also among the messiest. While the staff on that particular day seemed somewhat disengaged, I'm willing to chalk it up to a possible off day. Can we have a moment of silence for how great the food is here. Very fresh and every bite is packed with flavor and if you want to top it off get a side of sauce to really amp up the flavor! I had the lomo Saltado and just to watch them make it was worth the money! Well, it was very nice. the staff members were so friendly and we had an excellent feeling. We had ordered Queso tacos, Carne Asada Mulitas and a Surf and Turf burrito. I had a bunch of friends rave about Pablitos so I decided to try it. It was taco Tuesday, so there was the special pricing. I ordered in advance and was given a ready for pick up time of 1 hour later. After arriving I had to wait an extra 45 minutes. This would be excusable if it was actually as good as I was told, which it wasn't. The carne asada tasted like charcoal.. even my friends said it was horrible. Sooooooooo good! Despite the bad reviews! I still wanted to try this place out. The food is so good! I ordered a classic ceviche and I felt like I was back in Peru eating at a cevicheria! Very tasty to perfection! Worth the price! I know they don't serve in regular plates but who cares! You don't go to a restaurant because of the plates, you go to eat food! I drove from Orange County to come to Pablitos Kitchen. It was a 2 1/2 hr drive... BOY was it WORTH IT!! I felt like a stuffed ham by the end of the visit. I had the Beef Saltado, a ceviche - Ban Mi de Camaron and a dessert. I even took my wife home a Chicken Saltado. The food was well beyond phenomenal, perfectly balance - exploding with flavor and a real treat all around. I couldn't shut up about it the next day at work.
