This place is absolutely adorable. They have a huge selection of bakery items like cake, croissants scones, tiramisu, eclairs, etc. Everything looks fresh and even though they serve food, when you walk in all you smell is the delicious coffee and sweets. I got the spicy chicken panini and it was huge for $12. Half the sandwich was bigger than my hand. I can eat and usually finish my meals and feel full and content. but I knew I had to take half home because if I finished it, I would have probably been too full to walk. The sandwich came with either a salad or fries and I got fries (of course!) and it was yummy. They were thin fries with probably parsley garnish on them. Stopped by for a coffee and a pastry. My sister and sister in law frequent this coffeehouse often and they love it. I ordered the OMG latte and it was so good, highly recommend. I had a piece of there red velvet cake and it was good but a little too sweet for me. They have quite a few food /breakfast options and lots of delicious looking pastries. This bakery is located in the Tustin Market Place right next to Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen. I stopped to get something sweet after having lunch next door and I saw their beautiful display of pastries. I decided on the Napoleon and Pistachio Creme Brulee. Napoleon ($5.50) - The phyllo pastry in the Napoleon was soggy and not crispy, indicating that this dessert had been prepared for some time and wasn't very fresh. However the custard used tasted fresh and pretty good. Pistachio Creme Brulee ($6.50) - The crème brulee was just ok in terms of taste and sadly I couldn't taste any pistachio in this treat. This pastry was over priced given the quality of the dessert. Overall I found the desserts to be on the pricier side here. Sadly the quality of the pastries here was mediocre at best in terms of taste. They have a lot of pastries here but all the items I tried here were a major let down. read more

Every time I go here I have a good experience. i particularly like the egg dishes and friendly service.

I really hate to do this, but with inflation and food quality going down everywhere it's important to know where you can splurge. I've been here in the past when it was good. The pastry around this tasted off and unluckily for me I ate this in a dimly lit room so I fully digested a couple moldy fruits before noticing everything where the fruit met the custard was molded. I don't know why I tried pushing past the initial bad taste to get halfway in, LOL. I didn't want to give them one star for this since it could've just been one bad shift, but buyer beware. This means the temperature is not being controlled in the kitchen or they're selling older products and it had time to mold in the pastry case. Worst case scenario is the pastry chef put moldy fruit on this danish. The bread felt a little stale so I'm guessing it was old. read more

First impression is a nice place with a nice ambiance! I went to order a pastry and the name tags didn't match the pastries on display. Also the price was different when I got rang up. When I told the cashier, she said the prices went up. Then why didn't they change them. I feel like that's not acceptable or at least honor the price you guys have. After sitting there for an hour with 3 other people, the worker came and asked us to all squeeze on one table since the place was getting busy! Ok! Came here with my boyfriend on a Wednesday afternoon and sadly, we just weren't impressed. We got two Napoleons and one oreo cheesecake- the total came out to be $20 for those three pastries :( The Napoleon was plain messy to eat, but tasted pretty good. I think the flaky pastry part had gotten a little hard and stale, so trying to cut it against the pillowy cream was a hassle. The oreo cheesecake was slightly worse- more like a pudding than a cheesecake, and the oreo flavor was nonexistent. We may have just picked the wrong pastries to try, but we just didn't think it was anything special, especially for the heavy price tag. The interior here is very lovely, however. Beautiful colors and plenty of seating. Lots of outdoor seating as well. I guess you could say that I'm not happy about my experience here, but I won't say I'm completely dissatisfied. read more

I had a good experience first time I went to Pandor at Irvine location on Jamboree . Bakery was fresh and tasted good. Second visit was disappointing on many ways. Croissant wasn't as fresh , Customer service and cleanliness was poor . The lady at the counter/ cashier used the same gloves to take the money , touched the trash and served the food with the same gloves. Another customer's Crepes fell on the counter and was dumped back in the plate with the dirty gloves . I thoroughly enjoy French culture and Pandor's ambiance does emit such vibes to me. The location and business hours make it very convenient for me to grab a bite any time I feel like grubbing. Food: 90% of the time has been great and extremely positive. Their paninis and fries are crunchy. The crêpes are full of flavors, regardless of sweet or savory, as the cuisine typically should be. My favorite has been the Havana where the content portion is generous. Cost: I believe that the price range is pretty standard. In fact, it's probably even better than other places that are marketed as "gourmet" burgers such as Red Robin. Service: The staff there has been nothing but friendly to me. There was an instance that one of my orders was lost (somehow) but the cashier took a lot of ownership on delivering the dish correctly. Atmosphere: My favorite part of the restaurant is the huge TV that is hung above the entrance door. Found this place on Yelp while browsing and the business came up as "hot and new". I've always been into trying out new businesses and spreading the word so I was excited to try this place out. We came here a week or so ago specifically for pistachio gelato because I've been craving it for months! Well, I looked at all their gelatos and asked the young lady if they had pistachio and she said said not today. I ended up getting the snickers, fiancé got the cappuccino and peach gelato. All three were delicious! We also got the pistachio cream brûlée, it was just okay for me. I couldn't taste the pistachio at all. As well as beverages like coffee, teas, mimosas. I got a basic chocolate croissant and honey lavender latte. Very disappointed on my first time coming here to buy some dessert. First and last time coming to this pathetic store owned by a trash owner. There are 6+ employees including the owner working that evening. There was one group ahead of us taking their sweet time ordering. Which is fine, i get it. What kind of a joke or conversation is that to a customer. I expected the owner to help at the cash register, but no, he comes by and makes a sarcastic joke and walks away. Owner treating their customer with a joke thinking that I am being a bad customer for not having patience waiting at the counter for 5-10minutes. So should I stand at the register for another 10minutes without saying a word while your employees are just standing at the counter relabeling the pastries and menu? After finally ordering, the employee just hands the 3 pasteries in a clear plastic container. "Can I have a plastic bag?" You want me to juggle them back to my car? Havana- The mustard, cornichons, and jalapeños took this Cuban favorite to the next level! The sandwich is made with a foot long baguette that is pressed and cut in half. I could only wet half so I had the other for dinner. Soup of the day was tomato bisque. Deee- liiii-cious! Came out piping hot, was tangy with a hint of sweetness, and super smooth! Nice and clean looking cafe. The pastries were so good looking that I ignored the one fly I saw in the case. Even with that I still have to give 4 stars because everything actually tasted really good and again, looked really perfect. I had the turkey and Brie sandwich. It had a great sauce but could have used a little more brie. The crepes are really good. We got the banana, strawberry and chocolate crepe and my wife and son dusted it. We also had a couple of frappes that were really good. We took home a piece of the carrot cake and a pear tart, both were great later that night. We also had a loaf of the French bread. This review is mainly for the food. Seems it lacks salt? I tried the Chicken and Mushroom crepe and all I can taste was the crepe. The white sauce would have been good if it was seasoned well. I ordered a lavender latte, and received a vanilla latte and when I asked, the barista just sprinkled literally 5 lavender buds on my drink which was cold as ice because it was sitting on the counter forever. We ordered the Lebanese breakfast and the Eggs Benedict and when they arrived we noticed the eggs were severely over cooked. The eggs were supposed to all be poached on both meals and i fear, it's common sense that poached eggs, especially in Eggs Benedict, are made to be slightly to very runny. Considering this and wanting to enjoy our meal, thinking it could have been a simple mistake easily fixed, I showed a server and asked that they please be remade. The workers immediately turned me away saying the eggs were not made wrong, and that poached eggs are boiled and are meant to be fully cooked and not meant to be runny. i told her that i've had these dishes here before and that the eggs were runny, as they should be, and she continued to ignore my request and complaint. She brought it to the cook and she told me that despite the eggs being fully cooked, practically a hard boiled egg at this point, was supposed to be a poached egg and how they were made. Which is super disappointing and confusing, as look up any picture online of a poached egg and the difference is astounding! I understand the restaurant was busy but it would have been nice to properly get what was ordered, and receive better and more polite customer service. Normally, eggs are made to the customers selection- such as scrambled, sunny side up, poached, etc. so i did not see why they were practically gaslighting me and had to be so rude when I was trying to be perfectly reasonable and kind, even given the fact that the eggs were so clearly not cooked well! Very disappointed and could see other customers who ordered the same thing slightly disappointed as well, just unsure to say anything. Very sad because the rest of the meal was pretty good but the service and the unfixed mistake of the egg was incredibly unsatisfactory. read more

This was a pleasant discovery after a Wescom errand at the Marketplace. The hubby started Yelping to see what's new in the area. With the pandemic, unfortunately some places have closed down but there are a few new ones that popped up. And boy were we delighted after having a few treats from Pandor! We have been to the Orange location last year but they were about to close so not much selection to choose from at that time. Anyways, this Irvine location just opened a few weeks ago. It's clean, light and bright and tables were spaced apart for social distancing. We couldn't decide at first since almost everything just looked so scrumptious. Good thing the server offered us each a small bite-sized apple pie. Mind you, apple pie is not my normal go to - but Pandor's version is hard to resist because of how beautifully it was plated. And since I already had a small taste and knew how tasty this was, I had to have a bigger slice of it. I would def come back for that and the OmG bar which was crumbly and buttery and oh-so-delicious! The napoleon was on point as well but we've had better Choco Eclair at Le Panier in Seattle. Discovered this place while looking for a coffee shop. Their regular sized latte drinks taste really good. The coffee flavor is strong but not bitter in any way. It's also pleasantly sweet, so there's no need to make adjustments like at other coffee shops. The worst part, however, is their large sized drinks. Apparently, they don't add any additional espresso, they just add more milk? So, it's just a massively diluted drink with barely any caffeine to carry you through the day. I ordered a large iced mocha once, and it tasted of faintly sweetened chocolate milk. 0/10 would recommend getting a large. Sandwiches and pastries here are really good here though. I came for the coffee but will frequent this place because of their lunch options. The sandwiches are pretty salty actually, but in a good way. They're also massive, which is always nice.
