Came here after taking the kids to Boomers for a while. My sister in law suggested the place and raved about it so we decided to give it a try. I have to say that my expectation was not very high given that I am not a fan of buffet food. But after trying the various options I was pleasantly surprised. I had grilled veggies, salad, baked fish, cheese enchiladas and fried rice. Everything was delicious. My husband had the Mongolian bbq where he chose what to include in it, and my daughter had mashed potatoes, salmon, and steamed carrots. She enjoyed it as much as we did. They have a good variety for. I went on a Sunday so the line was long, but took us about 20 mins to get seated. With that being said it was very packed and hard to move around the buffet. The servers were very nice and went around picking up plates quite often. read more

This place is a wonderful surprise. Most buffets are traditional and have the same foods and experiences, but this place is inexpensive, has a nice selection of food, and even has a Mongolian style chef station I. The center. The food was tasty and fresh. They had lots of salads and sides along with the various meat entries. I can honestly say that this is the first time I have ever seen octopus (by itself) as an entry at a buffet!!!! The place was clean and pleasant. Please save yourself and don't come here. I guess I thought this was maybe by the mills, not the worse part of Ontario. The crowd reflected that. The staff reflected that. And of course the food. The food was terrible. Prices are cheap but that's why. This is a Chinese buffet but there's things here I've NEVER seen at a Chinese buffet. Like some weird taco buffet they tried to do. Which includes store bought hard shells, ground beef, shredded cheese and tomatoes/lettuce. They had NO raw fish or cooked salmon. Which I've always seen at Chinese buffets. Instead they had store bought tilapia The orange chicken was bad. Pizza was beyond terrible. Hot and sour soup is garbage. The fried rices they have is Shrimp and HAM. Not good either, reminded me of Spanish rice more so than Asian. Almost everything we ate was bland or gross. Only OK Thing Was grilled chicken. This is anything but an authentic or just normal Chinese buffet. Cooks seem to just do things how they want according to their ethnicity versus what the restaurant advertised. This place gave me an upset stomach, made me skip even wanting dessert, made me know since the second we got the first plate that we wouldn't be back and just was anxiety inducing over all. Most of these reviews are good but I had a bad experience here, I was not pleased with my food and there was little choices and literally their chicken was not cooked completely , they need to check that out because someone can seriously get sick. Been coming here for a long time and was happy to see that they open again after COVID-19 closure. There is a LOT of variety - something for everyone. There is American food, Mexican food and a surprising amount of Chinese food to choose from. There is several seafood dishes and a pretty decent Mongolian grill offering plenty of choices. Service is always good - empty plates are taken away quickly (you refill your own drinks, so you don't have to wait for a server to do it). All for a reasonable price. The food usually looks and tastes fresh, as it is refilled frequently and the serving areas are kept clean. Seating in the restaurant is back to normal capacity (usually fairly crowded), but they do have COVID precautions in place: they require patrons to wear a mask except at your table and they require that patrons wear gloves when serving yourself from the buffet. Of course, there are always a few jerks who don't follow the rules. As much as I enjoy it here, there are a few things that have always been a problem and I REALLY WISH MANAGEMENT WOULD TAKE SIMPLE STEPS TO CORRECT THEM. 1. Servers use the same rag to wipe the tables and the chairs. Definitely not sanitary. Use clean rags for the tables only; separate rag for chairs. 2. Servers are allowed to wear their aprons into the restrooms - again, not sanitary. 3. The restrooms get progressively dirty and messy as the day wears on. By dinnertime, they are a mess. I've never seen anyone in there to clean up. Trash cans fill up, paper on the floor, supplies run out and the counters are soaking wet. As it gets messier, the smell gets worse. PARADISE MANAGEMENT: Please work to correct these problems! Things have been like this for years, without any improvement. You have a nice place, and unlike other buffet restaurants that are popular only for a while after opening, you have managed to keep the customers coming for a pretty popular buffet and Mongolian grill. This place is always packed on weekends! Expect lines, but, really, it's worth the wait! They have a variety of dishes, stemming from American to Mexican foods, as well as typical Chinese dishes. In the month of June, my family and I nearly went every week to this buffet. Do try their clam chowder- my mom says it is the best clam chowder she's ever had! Came here a couple times. The tables and chairs are not thoroughly cleaned and there are always crumbs. The food here is mediocre but it's what you get for the price. Somethings are either tasty or extremely bland. The cooks or people behind the counter have their masks either below their nose and one guy in the kitchen has it down to his chin. On the other hand, the waiters always wear their masks and are extremely kind. Also, their plates are yellow. I've been here on a few occasions, all of which were family birthday parties with groups of 15-30 people, so I guess one of the pros of this place is that it's great for large groups :) They don't take reservations on Sundays I believe but it worked out just waiting in line even with a big party. It is super crowded every time I come but Sunday is the absolute peak of the crowd - I've never seen so many post-church goers/family lunchers in my life. The best part of this place is definitely the Mongolian BBQ. Well.. if you're a germophobe you may not be a huge fan of the way the meat is set up, but that honestly goes to show for the general cleanliness of the rest of the buffet tbh. Anyway, the Mongolian BBQ has sooo many options for veggies, meats, and SAUCE (!) so you can make it as spicy/salty as you desire, and everytime I've gotten it I've been happy with it. They used to take a really long time for each plate but they seem like they've come up with a more efficient process now. The second best part is the ice cream. Not the soft serve.. The ice cream! But that's because it's thrifty ice cream so it can't really disappoint. Everything else (orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, DIY tacos, "spare rib", egg drop soup, clam chowder, fried rice, fried dumplings, etc.) is not going to be the ~best~ of that food there is. Some of it surprises you as being yummier than it looks, but most of it is, to put it bluntly, disappointing (I'm looking at you, mac n' cheese!). For a lower price buffet, it was not bad. Pretty good I would say. The place is clean and well kept inside and there is a constant line of customers all day so the food is fresh. Everything I tasted was good. The buffet is lower cost, so don't expect crab legs, sushi, or oysters. You generally know what to expect going into the average buffet and Paradise Buffet is no different. I came here with my girlfriend one afternoon because it seemed reasonably priced: $13.95 a person for lunch. Great! Upon entering, you pay and are taken to your table by staff member who only appears slightly overwhelmed by the impending lunch rush. You get your standard plastic cup for water or soda depending on your preference, then you hit the food. Shitty pizza, crab wontons, fries, pork chops, chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, meat loaf, etc, you name your favorite average buffet items, they probably got it. I loved it all, and it took me back to my childhood of going to buffets in Vegas and Laughlin with my family. Sure there were no crab legs, but the options do the job. In the middle of the buffet floor they have a huge Mongolian BBQ grill with a line that wraps around it. The grill is clearly the main attraction in the buffet and if the standard buffet options aren't to your taste, you can pick ingredients have have a bowl cooked to order at the grill. One thing that stood out at this buffet was the quality of the desserts. I was shocked at how good the slice of banana cream pie I had was, and they had many other options as well, so definitely save room for dessert if you can! read more
