I am so disappointed with the service we've received. Purchased an ES 350 two years ago and was thrilled to drive such a nice car. Assumed we would receive high quality service when we used their body shop to repair hail damage. It's now been 54 days and they still have my car. They went back to the insurance company THREE times for more money. How can a professional body shop reassess hail damage three times?! Needless to say my car sat in parts and pieces many days. We've asked for a loaner from the dealership--no. Something to ease the inconvenience of not having my car for soooo long? No. Hoping to get my car back in the next week. Will the car look amazing? Here's hoping. I'll add to my review when that magical day finally occurs. ‍ Day 61 on May 31. Headed to dealership to get my car. Fingers crossed! Got my car today with an expired inspection sticker from 4/19-they've had car since April 1. Body shop called for 4th supplement today for $800 more after his $18,000+ claim. I was even denied a complimentary service package as condolences. REMARK TO BUSINESS POST BELOW: EVERY CONSUMER GETS TIRED OF THE "Pass the buck" mentality. Here is the joke, I call and ask how much it would cost for me to get a bottom lip for my number as opposed to bringing on and having him paint it. Her response, " you have to bring it in so they can see it first " I said what is there to see, there isn't anything to diagnose?? I'm asking how much you will charge to paint a part for my car 10 minute hold she tells me is 800 to pain a BOTTOM lip for my Lexus. And 220 to buy it. This place is so far beyond a Corp and all focused on sales. Trash will have to find some backroad shop since I cannot rely on my dealer. BEWARE. Would give this dealership 0 stars if I could. Absolute nightmare to work with. After keeping my car in bodyworks for 3 weeks due to an insurance claim, they tried to give me my car back with a nail in the tire which they admitted likely happened while the car was in their possession. Fast forward a couple days, my sonar system had not been reconnected correctly...back to the dealership AGAIN. Lastly, the tire that they claimed to have replaced blew 3 days after "replacing" while I was driving home alone late at night. With my car not drivable, I tried calling for over an hour to have them send someone out to get my car...no answer. I literally had to UBER to the dealership to get in touch with someone. Rod Moreno is the Service Director and he didn't seem to care in the slightest about the countless errors that his team made. Also found discrepancies in what they claim to be their policy and what they actually practice (i.e. keeping records on file). My car was supposed to be ready 7-10 days after drop off, I'm now on week 4. I beg you to stay away from Park Place Plano. read more

Bought a wheel and tire warranty specifically to cover replacement tires, it came time to replace my tires talked to 2 different people on the phone that assured me that was covered made an appointment arrive and am told it is not covered. I am not surprised or upset about a warranty not covering what it is supposed to cover, that's obvious, but to be assured it is covered and drive 3 hours to have a car serviced and be told it isn't covered is downright infuriating read more

I took my Lexus which is still under warranty to Park Place Plano. At first the service was great, I was greeted, given a rental car and off on my way. The reason for me taking my car to Park Place was because the A/C stopped working. Anyways I got a call the next day and they told me that the A/C compressor had been replaced before and is not a "Lexus" part, which makes it no longer under warranty. They came back with a quote over $4000.00 saying they must change the condenser, compressor and tons of other things. I ended up taking my car back and leaving. After getting a second opinion, I found that it WAS a factory Lexus compressor and that it was broken, like actually broken, a peace of metal was knocked off the compressor. There was nothing at ALL wrong with my condenser or any other parts. I can understand them telling me that this type of damage is not covered under warranty, which I don't see why it wouldn't, but for a Lexus dealership to flat out LIE and tell me that its not a factory part is disgusting. I will be doing anything I can to report this to a higher level because it's not fair, and a horrible business practice. I would NOT recommend taking your Lexus to this dealer, even if you are still under warranty. I ended up getting my car fixed at another dealer. Please stay away from Park Place Lexus. read more

Do not take your car here for repairs!!!!! At my request , because I thought I was picking the best place to have my Lexus repaired after an accident, my car was towed there on a Friday. I called on Monday to verify it was there, I was told it was not there. I called back on Tuesday and again I was told it was not there. I decided to walk in on Wed morning to find out the status. The person the desk stated: " oh, we just found your keys. We did not know you car was here but it has been here since Friday. " They did not know where it was exactly, so we had to take a walk thru the lot to find it. My spare tire was missing from the trunk. They had to move my car to the Dallas collision center to have an estimate written by repairs by my insuance company. I am still 8 days later and I found out today that Park Place failed to notify the Insurer it was there and ready for inspection.. I am very unhappy. I love my Lexus but when this is over I will NEVER use them for any service again. read more

My experience is purely based on the service department. I took my car in due to a clunking noise in the front end a few weeks ago. The technician said numerous bolts were loose, which he tightened to fix the issue. I was happy to pay the $100 diagnostic / servicing fee if that's all it was, but the next day I started hearing the noise again. I've gone back and forth over email to get confirmation that I will not be charged another $100 diagnostic fee for the same problem if I bring it back. Once I ask this question no one responds. If I call in, no one ever calls me back. I've also tried to setup a date and time to bring it back since the last service adviser I communicated with said a technician would need to ride along with me to hear the noise. No confirmation or reply to these requests either! There are limited days and times I can bring it in since I have to come on my lunch break, and taking a 2 hour lunch break so that I can drive the technician around isn't possible most days. Just give me the $100 back that you charged me and I'll take my car to Sewell! read more

I'd give them 0 stars if I could! I always trusted this place until today. I took my car to get some help CLOSING THE HOOD of my IS250. For some reason, I wasn't able to close it properly and I was hoping they could help me perform this simple task without having to spend a lot of money (after all, I have spent THOUSANDS of $ at this location) Well, this simple task was going to come at a really high cost. Someone named "GREG" (tall, bald guy) could not even (or pretended not to know how to) perform a such a simple task. He told me the car needed to get diagnosed at $150!! really??? So basically, it was going to cost me $150 to take the car to the back and have someone close the hood. I would have NEVER thought they were going to act like thieves, because that is what they are THIEVES. So I almost fell for it but I decided to take it home to a friend. In 1 SECOND, he was able to close the hood (without any problems) If you are ready to give away your money for free, go to this facility! read more

This place is nice!! I came to get some parts for my car. The signs are misleading. Unless you have BIG PARTS follow the signs if its little parts like a fender clip or screw bolts go to the front. Parking was easy. I walked in to double doored entry. & 2 reception lady greeted me welcoming and very nice. (FINALLY, WELL TRAINED RECEPTIONISTS/CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE) I waited in their lobby which had comfy seats and very cozy. The whole scheme and layout was luxurious. They even had a complimentary snacks! I didnt see any water tho but I Saw coffee. I got my parts (and some skittles) and Johnson their mechanic was nice enough to install the part for me. I order online, called to confirm, and even spoke with an Agent online and came in person. The whole process was easy, smooth & friendly! Everyone was nice and treated you like a priority. read more

Had my oil changed at Quick Oil today. I didn't want to drive 45 miles to the dealership for a simple oil change on my 2016 LS460. The service tech at the oil place did the procedures to get the light off and it went through the routine and it said complete but light comes back on when you start the car. Called Park Place Lexus for instructions and was told to google it. That was their first mistake. After much discussion, they told me since I didn't get my oil changed there they could not assist me since per their policy it is a liability issue. I said even I show my receipt that the oil was changed today you still won't help me. They said that is correct. Well, they have certainly lost my future business over a $100 oil change. It has been five years since I purchased my RX at Park Place. I can honestly say that they they have provided consistently better service than any dealership I have dealt with prior. Customer service has never been anything less than professional. The best part is that they never make up answers if they do not know. For example, when I needed new tires and had questions, the service adviser transferred me to their tire specialist, who spent time helping me decide what I would be happy with and even helped me warranty my existing tires which I didn't even purchase with them (something I dodn't realize was even an option for me). I've had all my 10K interval maintenance done here as well as some minor body work after being rear-ended. Shout out to Jordan Cole Case for always providing exceptional service. I plan to hold on to my RX for quite a while, but when the time comes, I will not hesitate to consider Park Place for my next vehicle. read more

I was really excited to come here because it's brand new! Their service is the same quality as their old location - pretty good. They aren't pushy or intimidating. However, they don't do a very good job cleaning your car... I brought mine in for an oil change, and when I got it back, I could still see the blue marker they used on my windshield. I am beyond upset with my experience with Park Place Lexus. I have never had such bad customer service in my life. I dropped my car off December 20th after my brakes and steering wheel were shaking. This was the third time that i had to bring my car into the dealership for this issue. He had told me in my last visit that the rooter was warped and was going to talk to management about fixing it without charging me so when he told me to bring the car back in I assumed this was going to happen. My car was at the dealership a WEEK and come to find out nothing was done on the car at all besides a test drive. This makes zero logical sense as to why it was there a week or why i even brought it back in. I called on December 27th because when my dad picked up my car no one had told him what was done on the car nor was the car ever washed.... When i called I spoke with a manager as i needed to figure out what was going on and this is where he told me nothing had been done on the car. He told me he would have Richard call me after he spoke with him and his manager but yet again no call back. It is now Friday and I have still not received a call back so I had to call AGAIN this morning. I was put to voicemail and still have not received a call back. This is beyond ridiculous of the lack of professionalism with your management and I will never be buying a car from this dealership as there is obviously a lack of care for the customer. read more

I absolutely love the service from Park Place. I'm on my third Lexus from this dealership, and honestly their service department in Plano is part of that reason. They're quick to help you as soon as you pull up, and always have a loaner car ready if you can't wait for your car to be serviced. I've been to this new location in Plano several times for scheduled maintenance and car washes since my wife and I both drive Lexus vehicles. I mostly work with Dave Williams who is a gracious and very welcoming service manager. On this visit, i worked with Chris Brintnall who was awesome. My experience with the staff has been great so far. I've been treated with respect and my needs have been attended to with professionalism every time I've been here. I love the wait area with its plush décor, comfortable seating, coffee machines, computers, wi-fi, flat screen TV's, and a kids play area. The complimentary car washes are great. I haven't dealt with the sales or finance guys since I'm mostly here to service our vehicles a few times a year, but I'll still give this place a thumbs up for customer commitment and satisfaction. read more

Everything is so bright and shiny. I love love love the waiting area. There's a row of computer cubicles for the introverts/tech junkies. Theres two areas of just seats and (bright and shiny)TVs, there's a counter area with (bright and shiny) granite. There's a helpyourselfbecauseyou'reawesome snack and beverage area with (brightandshiny) backsplash and granite. My favorite area was the kid's playroom. Pretty sure it was sound proof so people don't give me bad looks. They have their own little flat screen TV playing NickJr, a toy basket and two little suede chairs. Kept my little one entertained for a while. The service is great. You never really have a to lift a finger if you don't have to. Only reason they don't get five stars is because they left and entire side of my back seat uncleaned while they washed and cleaned the rest of the car (and that was the side that needed it the most). They also turned off my automatic lights and I hate when people change my car settings. Seriously, you're there for 15 minutes, I have to drive everyday, return things to the way you found it puh-lease. Nonetheless, currently coming up with excuses to go there on a daily basis. read more

The appointment was at 8:30am. I waited 20 minutes to get the car checked in. I called at 2pm to check status - they had not got to my car yet. Tony called after 3pm to confirm the brand of tires and to tell me the nail in the tire did not qualify for the tire replacement. I still bought all 4 tires. I told Tony I would arrive after 5:30pm to collect my car. I arrived 5:45pm only to find it was not even washed. Lexus owners appreciate the little extras, and I don't understand why I and my car didn't get the true Lexus service. read more

Dropped my 6mth old car 2/4 for a service. At intake, they inspect and document everything - a good practice actually. On collecting my car 2/5, before leaving the lot, i see a crack in windshield- right in the line of sight. The service advisor (Brandyn), rude and implied i lied about it being a new crack, and said they never did it. The service manager (Rob), said he disputes it's their fault, but i should claim on my insurance - and they'd pay my deductible ...(why should i get dinged on my insurance for their negligence..?!). Or, they'd pay half and i should pay half!! Really?? A new windshield is $1800, I've purchased 2 SUV's from them in 2 years - i used to drive Merc for 20+ years, my service advisor kept me coming back, till I couldn't find MB SUV i liked. Bad PR Park Place Lexus, lose a client for $1800....really? Time to move on, #parkplacelexusplano - way to lose a client. David Strawn the sales guy is a gem, pity his back office crew are not customer focused. UPDATE: a bit delayed in providing an update. Issue occurred in Feb 2019, after a very frustrating 60+ days trying to resolve with the dealer (their "2 options referenced below were (1) I claim from my insurance and they pay my deductible; (2) I pay 50% of the cost of a new one); I declined both and wrote to the CEO. By mid-May 2019, I had a new windshield installed N/C. I'm still in the car, it's a lease - the sales guy has gone, so I'm very definitely going to shop around when my lease is up. read more

I waited two years to get my dash replaced due to a 'warranty review' on my RX330......after dozens of emails and calls to the dealership I was fed up and finally decided to email the Office of the President. The following day I received a text from the dealership that my dash was ready to be installed (interesting.....the day before when I spoke to the dealership I was told I was at least 10 weeks out). The dealership installed the dash, I picked up my Rx330 and noticed within 2 minutes that they damaged the side panel of my car. I immediately circled back into the dealership and showed the service representatives, they showed a manager who than had to show another manager. They questioned the damage.....as if it was existing prior to the dash replacement. It was the size of a quarter and VERY noticeable. The service manager said it was an honest mistake and obviously overlooked, how they could possibly NOT notice the damage and NOT tell me about it, is beyond me. This was a time of integrity, if they had done the damage I would expect honesty and to own up to the damage, yet they acted as if they were doing me a favor and repairing damage for free. They agreed to repair the damage. I dropped the RX330 off again, and picked it up. Fast forward a few days and I notice that one of my air vents is damaged (missing a blade), the other air vent is broken (won't slide/move), the side cup holder is jammed and will not pop out AND the handle that pops open the hood was not connected to the wire, I couldn't pop the hood. So again I dropped off my car and picked it up again. It's only a matter of time until I will notice damage to my car. It's been a nightmare. Yes it's Lexus and they have beautiful vehicles (I purchased my RX from Sewell Lexus) but I would not recommend Park Place in Plano as your service dealership. They have done more damage to my car than I have over 10 yrs of wear and tear. Frisco, Plano and Allen people make the drive and go to Sewell Lexus !!!!! read more

The service manager contacted me after hearing about my experience. He was sincerely apologetic and professional. He took complete responsibility and didn't try making any excuses. He talked to his service reps and made sure everything was fixed. I'm still using this dealership for repairs (and washes) and appreciate their prompt attention to their hiccup in customer service. The customer service at this dealership was why I have been loyal to Lexus because so many dealerships are dishonest or just flat out do not care. This has to be the worst Park Place to choose to have your car washed. One of the perks of buying a car from PP is that you have lifetime car washes, which sounds good in theory until you try to use it. It makes no sense waiting for two hours to have your car washed. I really do think once you've bought your vehicle, you are no longer a priority. There is no efficiency at all! I've been here to this location 3 times and it's always the same, any day of the week You get the impression that its intentional. They may as well get rid of that perk altogether. I've been to Grapevine, Dallas and those have been efficient but this Plano location is just ridiculous! read more
