Beautiful ambiance! Came here on Father's Day where reservations were pretty easy to get through OpenTable. They have a separate gluten-free menu which is a plus! I ordered the seafood linguini which was pretty good, but much heavier than I was expecting! My family also ordered a round of oysters, and they were HUGE! Still a 3.5 I recently went back to Parker's Lighthouse for their Mother's Day brunch. It was an all you can eat brunch. It included all you can drink mimosas. They had prime rib, the usual continental breakfast items, crab cakes and an omelet station. They had a raw bar that includes oysters and shrimp cocktail and sushi. They also had salad, fruit and dessert. The service is good. They took our drink orders and cleared out our dishes. They also brought us our champagne for the mimosas. Certain things were better than others. Our group enjoyed the raw bar and ate their fair share. The prime rib was ok. They had a variety of desserts available. But some of the desserts were not getting replenished in the afternoon. So they may have ran out of them. read more

A little hesitant coming here because of the number of stars it had but let me tell you it was well worth it. Food and service were amazing!! Service was 5/5, super fast and friendly service from the moment we walked through the door and with reservations we didn't have to wait a min. Don't be afraid to sit outside at night. They have heaters which keep you warm and the view of Queen Mary is a must! Food was equally good. Highly recommend the lobster roll and clam chowder, totally worth it. I went there like a month ago for food to see the octopus in the aquarium ^_^ I gotta say their oysters are the best oysters I've ever had in my life. And the owner was very sweet, so is our server. I recommend the mix grill was sooo so good I like the charcoal like flavor, and the fish n chips were sooo good I think the kids would love it. We had reservations for 7 pm. I had notified them I am in a wheelchair and would need a table to accommodate. The 3 young women at the front did not make a move to help open the door and stood and watched my husband struggle to open and hold the door while trying to get me inside. The restaurant lists as being accessible and as this restaurant does not have a disability/handicapped button to automatically open the door it would have been considerate for one of the young ladies to have opened the door. Once we were brought to a table noone removed a chair at the table to accommodate my wheelchair and it had to be out at the end of the table. The food was bad. Period. We ordered simple dishes..fish and chips and the burger. The fish was almost nonexistent as it was covered in batter and the plate was filled with french fries. For what it cost there should have been more than 2 over battered over cooked pieces of fish. It's been awhile since we've visited Parker's lighthouse we came on a Thursday with reservations at 5:30. In the beginning service was great but once more customers came in, service was waning. Our server was okay but a few things were lacking. We ordered a kids meal for our grand daughter and. Guess the pasta was a bigger Portion so it didn't come with side of fresh fruit. So we said add the fresh fruit, but they forgot to bring it. That's okay because they didn't charge us. But we realize the kids meal came with a drink and the server didn't offer that up to us. Also the kids meal comes with ice cream and I had to ask because he didn't bring it. When we got the bill, they charged us $11 but I brought up the menu said $10 for kids meal. Not going give lesser rating but so many things were questionable with the kids meal. Btw he corrected the incorrect pricing. At 5:30 the restaurant was pretty quiet. Which was nice. Anti dog! They give you hard time for your dog to be outside in the patio. They don't let them sit on chairs and so many other stupid rules. We live in a world that dogs are welcome in outdoor spaces and people greet them well. The waitress was rude and the staff came so many times with different rules. read more

Living most of my life in OC Im ashamed to admit that I haven't made myself out to long beach at all. Decided to give it a try as I was in the area, and decided on Parker's Lighthouse to grab some food and drinks while watching the sunset. The weather was perfect today with a slight breeze, and the view of the Queen Mary and sunset at a distance. Was absolutely romantic. The service was also excellent and so was the food. We had oysters and fried calamari to start, followed by excellent Sesame crusted Ahi tuna with creamy wasabi mayo sauce that truly brought out an exquisite flavor. My friend had the Chilean sea bass which was also very good but mine was far more exceptional . Finished off with a cream brûlée which was good. Every dish we had was very very tasteful but my Ahi tuna was the show stealer tonight. Unfortunately wasn't able to capture much of it in the photos this time. Guess I'll have to go back again at another time lol Also, there are other restaurants and boutique shops and bars with live music in the same plaza. If you have time would be a cute date venue for food and drinks and a romantic walk around the shop and by the water. Sunset is also gorgeous. Can't believe I didn't come out here before. Oh also, the restaurant has private parking so don't forget to get your ticket validated. Still pay a fee when you exit but much less when you have your validation. read more

I stopped by Parker's Light House for happy hour and found myself hanging out for about 3 hours: The food was pretty good. I ordered the clams and the shrimp cocktail. It didn't have the quality of a local fresh catch but It seemed mostly fresh which separates it from the neighboring restaurants in a positive way. The real treat was the culinary chemistry performed by Jerry the bartender. His understanding of quality ingredients at hand and his passion for creating the perfect drink shined. I had started with a glass of wine he suggested that perfectly paired with my meal and moved onto a couple old fashions and sampled a whiskey sour. The only thing that gives this restaurant a one star is the view. Came here for my daughter's graduation and spent over 1500 dollars. Had about 15 people in our party so we expected good food. Got simple things like steaks and salads...didn't think you could mess up a Cobb salad, came with ice cold shrimp, and crab meat, lettuce tasted like dirty sink water. Steak was so dry it was choking us... only decent thing was the sushi. Table didnt get cleared off of the dirty bread plates the entire night hardly had room to eat, we enjoy queens view upstairs , but safe to say we won't be back to Parker's lighthouse. read more

Although our dining experience was very good, we were able to look out on the water, I was highly disappointed when I received the check and I noticed my waiter charged me for Don Julio instead of the house tequila I requested, which added up to $67. We started off with the pork belly & shrimp tostada, the calamari, and oysters. Raw oysters were large and flavorful. The calamari had a little more breading that I liked, but still good. The tostada wasn't really my thing. For our mains, we split the bone-in ribeye, seafood linguine, and mixed seafood grill. I was the most the surprised by the seafood linguine-- it didn't look like it'd be as tasty as it was. The steak was decent, could use more fat. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Parker's Lighthouse as my brother was craving oysters, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. Our server, Micaela, was exceptional -- attentive but never overbearing, providing just the right amount of attention throughout the evening. She was friendly, kind, and patient while giving excellent recommendations tailored to our tastes, adding a personal touch that made our dinner even more memorable. The food was outstanding. We started with brussel sprouts and one dozen oysters. The brussel sprouts were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and well balanced in a honey citrus sauce. The oysters were fresh, clean, and briny. Whether enjoying them raw or with a little extra garnish, they truly stood out. We followed by a seafood grill that was fresh and expertly prepared. The sashimi was impeccable -- the fish was incredibly fresh, and each bite was a delight. Hats off to Chef Luna and the entire kitchen team for their skillful presentation and remarkable flavors. As dessert lovers, we order 2 desserts; the crème brûlée and cheesecake. Both were absolutely divine-- the crème brûlée had the perfect balance of rich custard and a crisp caramelized top, while the cheesecake was velvety and decadent. To pair with dessert, Micaela recommended a wine and espresso martinis, which complemented the flavors beautifully. What truly stood out was the overall experience. My brother and I don't get much quality time as we live far away from each other; the atmosphere, impeccable service, and food made our evening wholesome. We enjoyed catching up and lost track of time that we stayed for about four hours enjoying a great meal with cocktails. In addition, at the end of dinner we decided to have another glass of wine, however I was craving bread with butter (we didn't see this on the menu) to pair with our last drink. Upon asking, Micaela said they do offer them and brought us a fresh batch of warm sourdough rolls and honey whipped butter. This was our first visit, and it definitely exceeded all expectations. December Friday 5pm We were a party of 9. Opentable only takes smaller reservations. Reservations needed to be made by phone but they were easy to get ahold of, and they called to confirm a few days before. Parking was in a paid lot, but the restaurant validated 2 hours. The parking was super easy. The area was cute: it was next to the water and Queen Mary, with a outdoor complex across the street. The ambiance was sweet; Christmas lights adorned the interior. We sat on the first floor and had a bit of ocean view. Our server was fantastic- memorized our orders without messing up and catered to the kids as well. We got the bucket of clams, calm chowder, calamari, taters with caviar, bruschetta, cheese bread as appetizers. For main dishes we got the wagyu New York strip, poke, salmon, and ribeye. For drinks we got the Bloody Mary, old fashioned, dessert port, and red wines. For dessert we got the tollhouse pie and crepe brûlée. Recommended were the blackened salmon and crème brûlée. Always a favorite spot to take my clients out for a work meeting. The view is spectacular and food is always above average. During the day, you can really see the clear blue ocean and boats sailing. At night, the dock is lit up. At any time of day, the restaurant can be fancy enough for a romantic date, or casual enough for a work meeting.
