Fourth, a staff member was pulling another co-workers braids into a ponytail on the food line and did wash her "hair" hands after that interaction. No cornbread was available with my meal. I've been watching this place get built with anticipation. We went last night, Kinda wish wish we hadn't. It's a poorly executed variation of the traditional meat & three but in this case just "& two" and far more expensive than the food warrants. The place is really a take-out joint, ordering takes forever, the food is slowly served in togo containers, no water except for $3 bottles of it. If you eat there you have to ask for flimsy plastic utensils, no condiments on the tables which you are expected to buss yourself! They direct you through a cafeteria style line that terminates at a cashier but have employees taking orders on i-Pads and then call your name. This creates confusion and a log-jam! For our sides we got, yams, Mac and cheese, cabbage, black eyed peas, collards and rice and gravy. Everything is seasoned well. No complaints. The food is good. They ran out of peach cobbler, but we waited and got some. Hubby loved it, me not so much. The service was frenetic. They were busy. They are EXPENSIVE. Bring your coins.
