The perfect coffee place to study or hang out with family and friends. Awesome Coffee and Tea's assortments. The Customer Service by the Staff is very excellent and welcoming. Overall: A friendly atmosphere. Very cozy and warm. Beautifully decorated with modern decor and very spacious coffee shop whether inside or outside on the patio. Clean inside and also the restrooms too. I really enjoyed the flavor of Peet's more than some of its larger competitors and this location has friendly staff, healthy food options, and outdoor seating to allow you to really savor your experience . Highly recommended !!!

As a Peetnik..,...my annual must stop while in Newport Coast. Nice shopping plaza. Peet's has plenty of outdoor seating and a great spot to relax.

Came here recently and had great service. Came here early in the morning (around 7 AM) and there was absolutely no line at all. Walked right up to the counter and placed my order. The order was correct and came out within a few minutes. Very clean inside and outside seating area. Heaters outside were on, which made it more comfortable to sit outside in the early morning with a thick marine layer. I'll definitely return.

Hands down the best drip coffee out of the chain place in OC. Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Pete's etc. Pete's hands down is the best. Once you have it, there is no way you can drink Starbucks again. I love a large medium roast with a splash of heavy. Sometimes I'll go Americano the same way. I also come by for some fresh roasted single origins to take home from time to time as well. This location is full of old white people, so if you're into the CDM crew it will be your spot, there is a Bristol farms and my fav Gulfstream in the same center. I like to drive across PCH and check the Real Estate vibes in CDM for some dream building.

Great store. The Wi-Fi signal covers the seating area.

They are closed for remodeling as of Last week of July 2017 :(((( Single Best Coffee place (for me) ! Love this place ! Try fruit and nut scone and chocolate walnut scone. And of course the best almond latte ! Great service, nice atmosphere, plenty of parking !

The set up at this Peets is pretty amazing! It's right near the beach for starters. What's impressive is the outside seating area around the water fountain. I just wished it was a bit closer to my place so I can relax here all the time. There's also inside seating but it very small, maybe 4 tables. The service was fast, it's clean inside, and also lots of room. There's also lots of parking in the lot since it is located inside the shopping center. I like that it's so close to Bristol Farms too, in case I want to grab a bite during a study session. Definitely one of my favourite Peets locations.

This store is closed for remodeling?

I walked by today (Sept 12) and they are beginning to restock the shelves and the lights were on. Should be reopened in a few days, is my guess. It has been closed since end of July.

Upon walking in, the barista was friendly and open to answering any and all questions. Ambiance was also great and fit the name of the cafe and its vibes. For the drinks, we got an iced toffee latte and the kepania, which is their version of a spanish latte. I liked the toffee latte more cause it had bits of toffee in it but I also liked the spanish latte as it tasted lighter than the toffee latte. It gave the drinks more of a balance when I started taking sips from both of them. I do really like how the top layer of the lattes were blue, which gives off a great aesthetic. The only downside for me was that the toffee latte lost a good amount of its flavor after some of the ice melted-- some cafes still have a strong coffee taste even after the ice melts & that's usually what I like as far as preference. As for the sunbliss blend smoothie, it definitely had that taste of the 100% real fruit in it and was a refreshing drink to sip on when I walked at the beach. It's a plus for this cafe for having plenty of options between drinks and bites!

I just wanted to sit, sip & chill with my crossword puzzle for a bit & maybe watch the world go by. Parking at the rear, free. A medium size at $8.14, no extra charge for the substitution, a plus. Good experience.

I have had this coffee shop pop-up in a lot of conversations as well as on social media recently,…read moreso I decided to go give it a try today! I ordered the yacht club latte and cold brew chai. Pros: Parking! I hate street parking on PCH because it's too easy for someone to not be paying attention while driving and hit your car. I've seen it too many times. So I appreciate that they have a little lot behind the shop to park in. 2. The cold brew Chai: says that it comes unsweetened, but the chai seems to be sweet, so it has a perfect balance, which I really appreciated! They also have a dirty chai latte on the menu but the cold brew caught my attention. Cons/Why it just isn't a coffee shop I see myself drawn back to: 1. The yacht club latte is pictured on the menu with the coconut cold foam on top and that's how it is described on the menu as well. So when I ordered on the app, I assumed ordering it as is came as pictured, but I guess I was wrong because when I picked it up the cold foam was not on it and the very kind barista told me you have to order it separately as an addition on the menu. That's fine, but I wish that was clearer with the menu. 2. It's a fairly small shop when you walk in, so when I got there, there was a line to the door and I didn't see any signage about where to pick up mobile orders. So I waited in line until I was almost to the front and then noticed a few cups being put on the bar, so I asked if those were mobile orders and they said yes. I think maybe a sign on the bar or above the bar notating that mobile orders can be picked up there could be really beneficial. All in all, it's a cute coffee shop and I know it's on the newer side so some of these are just growing pains. Location is great if you are in the area!

Nice looking spot with plenty of outdoor seating. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly. So why just 3 stars? The food was just eh. If I had more hours in California I would have made up for the lackluster food by making a trip to HB's Tacos Los Cholos. I had the recommended Enchiladas Suizas. When my plate came out I knew immediately it would be just ok. The enchiladas didn't even look saucy. The refried beans looked (and tasted) like canned beans. The rice was very boring. The tinga chicken, somehow, was dry. My wife had the tostada salad. It was like $26 because of the $10 add on of steak. $26 for the most gringo thing on the menu. Best part of it was the steak, the rest will be repressed from my memory. A friend had the taco trio. $19 for 3 tacos and no sides. That's pretty steep. He didn't even finish the 3 tacos. He had the short rib, al pastor and carnitas. None of them looked very good. I had a pinch of his short rib meat. It tasted like grandma's Sunday pot roast. And just like the tinga chicken it was also dry. My wife's strawberry marg was quite good. The beer menu was very basic. Gotta step it up. When the free chips and salsa, and add on steak are the highlights of the dinner you know that the place needs help.
