I've tried almost every pho spot in the area and this one is hands down the best one for delivery (that has delivery available). Broth is always flavorful and it's always hot (more than enough to cook rare steak in if needed), even when I order to different areas. Postmates always has deals - the eggrolls and garlic wings are great add ons if you need to hit a certain total $. Only thing is you have to note to add extra hoison and sriracha if you need more than one per bowl. It'll charge you extra on delivery service apps but I don't think that's enough to take away a star from them if you expect to pay more when ordering delivery. read more

This place has really good and reasonably priced pho. I ordered the #5. Rare steak, brisket, flank pho and #6. Brisket & flank pho. Both came in large portions and the meat was very tender and tasty, the noodles were soft and not too chewy, and the onions, green onions, cilantro, bean sprouts, basil, and lime were fresh. I ordered for delivery via UberEats and the food came nicely packaged and the broth was still piping hot. Pho Legend is actually a very competitively priced pho joint in Koreatown. Not only is it competitively priced but the portion size is the main reason why we go. It's always consistent in flavor and size. In comparison to the other pho restaurants in the area, Pho Legend provides a decent parking lot with NO VALET! So this does not interfere with frustrating hikes to the restaurant leaving the customer in the mindset of not properly tipping. I'm from SF and was shocked at how modern the interior was. We started with the egg rolls. It comes with 5 large pieces and I thought these was just aight. I ordered the #62 noods. My boyfriend and I set out at the beginning of last year to find the best pho on in our neighborhood. Every week we tried a new place and rated it based on price, proximity, and, above all, flavor. We tried approximately ten places before we got to Pho Legend and our search ended! The delivery is lightening fast, the prices are exactly right, and the flavor is better than any pho I've had in LA. The broth is so rich and flavorful (this is my most important metric), the meat portion is generous, and the noodles are perfect. Because this is the information I was searching for before ordering: There is no pate on the banh mi. The banh mi comes on a delightfully crusty french roll. The pork is deliciously marinated. There's a healthy swoosh of mayo, four cucumber slices, three pieces of julienned carrot, and approx five cilantro leaves. No pickles and no pate. Stopped by this little place for some pho on a Wednesday afternoon. There was ample space located directly in front of the restaurant which made parking easy. Once inside you hear the some pop type music playing at a suitable level. There are multiple types of tables available to provide seating for various sized groups. Once upon a time, Summer and I would relish 'our pho spot,' camped on a shaded corner at the bottom of the hill at 44th and Pine Streets in west Philadelphia. Since then, we have been critical of our pho choices, seeking a brothy, satisfying bowl which transports us back to a long-associated neighborhood warmth. Here we are, eight years later, and Pho Legend in a strip mall on Vermont Ave, is more than flavorful and satisfying: it's also very convenient for us to walk to. The dining room isn't much to look at (the strip mall isn't much to look at, either), but the service is attentive and the preparation is quick. Every time I walk in, the place is nearly full - kids on dates, couples on dates, and families - and even on occasions when I haven't preordered, takeout for Summer and I together never takes more than ten minutes to finish. It's not expensive, either: two large-sized portions (we alternative between beef choices, and vegetables) ring in around $40.00 or so, and last throughout the night. We usually reheat the broth at home. The brisket is thinly sliced and cooks very well with provided noodles. I enjoy the meatballs, too. The vegetable pho is packed! We haven't deviated much from our regular choices, however. I expect the rest of the menu is worth exercising. We also haven't ordered for delivery, so I can't speak to that convenience. Gad damnit. This is one of the first negative reviews I have ever written. I hate doing this but my experience was disheartening. The caliber of Pho restaurants near and around DTLA are somewhat few and far between, in my opinion. Unfortunately, I found this place subpar. When you have eaten the gamut of delicious Vietnamese cuisine from Garden Grove at restaurants such as Brodard, Pho 87, K Town Pho, places in Rosemead and San Gabriel Valley, it is questionable whether this establishment will succeed or simply run its course. I ordered the #3 well done flank, brisket and rare beef and tendon. Good god. It tasted reminiscent of a dirty rag mixed with an Amazon cardboard box. The broth was oddly cinnamony, not hearty. Not what I expected to eat to warm my belly on a wintry evening. We ordered our items to go. We ordered large portions and it appeared like they skimped on the rice noodles. Next they got our order wrong, we asked for pork chop with vermicelli but they gave us beef with some dried arse shrimp/tofu. I was looking forward to the bean curd but all I got was something dry that cut my mouth. And, who skimps on fish sauce?! I layer that stuff on like perfume and deodorant prepped for a hard workout at the gym. I want my pits and nether regions emanating with fish sauce by the time I am done with my meal. The house special egg noodle soup was tolerable with shrimp, fish balls and squid and bbq pork. Sadly, I would not come back even though this place is rather convenient. I'd say its closer to a 3.5 star. Now I'm only comparing this place to my vietnamese food standards, and not the others in the area because I don't know much about the other spots yet. Pricing is a bit steep, so I'd ask up front what the prices are before relying on old menus. I think my pork chop rice plate used to be $8-9, but somehow takeout its more like $11-14! Same with the vermicelli noodles. Egg rolls are $2 a pop, which is insane. They are decently good, but not excellent and certainly not worth $2 each. The pork chop was pretty tasty, and not overly dry. Sadly, the porkchop plate is simply just rice and porkchop, nothing else. At most viet restaurants for com tham, you at least have like added combo options like egg roll, pork skin, egg loaf, etc for much cheaper ($7.50-9 total). The vermicelli noodle was a large portion, just not all that tasty. If I was desperately hungry and had no standards and price wasn't an issue, I'd eat it. Quality wise and being picky, I wouldn't order it again. Now I get supporting local businesses especially in a tough time, but only when the quality is warranted. I got the Yang Chow fried rice (what I assumed to be a combination fried rice) and the Charbroiled Chicken w/ Vermicelli. I leave 4 stars because although the vermicelli was as I expected and yummy, the fried rice felt kind of raw. I have been going here for about a year now. I personally like the new and improved interior. The old layout felt like an outdated restaurant but this new feel definitely brings it to 21st century. The food quality is consistent. Couple of things: - They don't use too much additional seasoning which makes the food taste clean. - I love their portion size. - Meat quality on Pho is great; I would like bigger size tendons and tripe though.
