    Fully cooked Brisket pho

This is a great Vietnamese food restaurant! Being out side of Vietnamese centers like Westminster or little Saigon, it is hard to find Vietnamese food done right. One example that surprised me was their egg rolls, I'm used to eating the pork egg rolls, then using beef was a brilliant variation! Very crispy shell! Also got the pho which the broth was very rich and authentic flavor! Passion fruit tea was a seasonal drink, very sweet! Our server was Lucy very attentive and thank you!

This is one of those spots that immediately tells you you're in good hands. Trendy décor, clean space, and plenty of room to breathe, no cramped tables, no chaos, just a modern, welcoming vibe that makes you want to settle in and explore the menu. The service matches the ambience: friendly, attentive, and quick without ever feeling rushed. Im a big fan of sampling different styles and flavors of Wagyu... so my focal point was the Flaming Wagyu Carpaccio. This dish comes out like it's auditioning for a movie, very dramatic flame, sizzling aroma, and that buttery Wagyu richness hitting you before the plate even lands. The thin slices melt instantly, picking up smoky notes from the torch and balancing beautifully with the citrusy, herb-forward dressing. It's bold, elegant, and easily one of the most memorable starters you'll find in the area. Now let's talk about Wagyu Spicy Beef Stew This is where comfort meets luxury in this bowl. The broth is deep, savory, and layered with spice that warms you without overwhelming. The Wagyu chunks are tender, juicy, and soak up all that flavor like they were born for it. Every spoonful hits with richness, heat, and that slow‑cooked depth that makes you pause mid‑bite. It's the kind of stew that makes you rethink what "beef stew" can be. Now for the Wagyu Fried Rice A sleeper hit. The rice is fluffy, perfectly wok‑tossed, and packed with smoky aroma. The Wagyu adds a buttery richness that elevates the whole dish, every bite has that satisfying mix of crisp rice, savory beef, and fresh veggies. It's comfort food with premium flair, and honestly, it's dangerously addictive. How about it....Wagyu Sliders? These sliders are small but mighty. Soft buns, juicy Wagyu patties, and a house sauce that ties everything together with a sweet‑savory punch. They're rich without being heavy, and the texture is spot‑on, tender beef, melty toppings, and just enough char to give it personality. Perfect for sharing... or not sharing. Thai Tea & Lychee Tea Both teas are refreshing and the perfect finish to a Wagyu‑heavy meal. The Thai tea is creamy, bold, and sweet in that classic way that hits the nostalgia button. The lychee tea is lighter, floral, and super refreshing, a clean, fruity counterbalance to all the rich dishes. Together, they're a power duo. Redbo is trendy, clean, spacious, and backed by great service, but the real magic is in the Wagyu‑focused menu. From flaming carpaccio to spicy stew, fried rice, sliders, and refreshing teas, everything feels intentional, premium, and crafted with care. It's a must‑visit for anyone craving Vietnamese comfort with a modern, halal twist. Miguel C.

Redbo (Palos Verdes) is an absolute gem that completely elevates the local dining scene. If you are anywhere near PV, this spot is an absolute must-visit. From the second you walk in, the service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. The team clearly cares about the guest experience, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring every detail of the meal is seamless. The food quality, however, is what will make you want to come back the very next night: * The Broth: Deeply complex, rich, and unlike anything else in the area. It has a unique depth of flavor that speaks to hours of slow simmering and careful balancing of spices--pure comfort in a bowl. * Australian Wagyu: Exceptionally tender, perfectly seared, and melt-in-your-mouth soft. The marbling infuses the rich broth with an incredible, decadent savory flavor. * Fresh Ingredients: Everything feels intentional, from the perfectly cooked noodles to the crisp, fresh toppings that balance out the rich soup base. Whether you're a local or visiting Palos Verdes, Redbo delivers a top-tier, memorable dining experience that punches far above its weight class. 5/5 stars without hesitation.

Located in the Royal Hills Mall, and it has a great view of the ice-skating rink. Plenty of space receding for small groups or larger groups. Our waitress was very friendly and very nice, but it was a little slow at the time and she seemed to not move as quickly as I would prefer. Her service was not bad at all, but due to how many customers were there I would've thought she would have moved a lot quicker. The pho was good. The meat is very tender in the pho. The broth I wish was a little bit more flavorful, but definitely not something to complain about. The flaming Wagyu was very tender. I highly recommend ordering this appetizer, but I would say get everything on the side, which includes the sauce and the onions.

Pho REDBO is SICHMA halal certified across the full menu, making it an easy choice for the whole family with no restrictions on what you can order. For families on the Palos Verdes Peninsula looking for halal Vietnamese comfort food, this spot stands out for both quality and variety. The menu highlights premium Wagyu beef and a rich 24-hour bone broth that gives the pho a deep, flavorful finish. We tried the beef stew, Combination Pho with thin noodles, Wagyu sliders, and the Flaming Wagyu served tableside. The beef stew was hearty, the combination pho delivered tender meats with delicate thin noodles. The Wagyu sliders were packed with flavor, and the flaming Wagyu presentation added a fun interactive touch to the meal. The tableside service made the experience feel elevated. Service was amazing throughout the meal, attentive, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish.

Reservations: Easy to make online though we walked in at off hours around 4pm on a Saturday so plenty of seats were available. Parking: Really easy free parking in the structure next to the mall that the restaurant is in. Service: Friendly and helpful in providing recs when trying to decide between dishes; tableside service for flaming wagyu and very quick to get orders/check/food Ambiance: Very unique with Ruby's style diner on outside and beautiful colorful lanterns inside as well as big windows to the LA Kings Ice skating rink next door with plenty of seating inside. Food: Wagyu phở tái combination bowl had wagyu rare steak, wagyu brisket, wagyu rib cubes in a 24-hour bone broth that was great value at $23 for a large size Shaken beef with rice was also filling and cooked well, reasonably priced at $21, and seasoned with a delicious sauce and broth. Loved the peach tea as well so didn't need to find a boba spot for dessert after! It came in a convenient bottle to take to-go if you can't finish too, which I really appreciated.

I was in the area for Fika Fika next door, when I saw this place. I was a little hungry so I thought I would grab a quick snack before getting some ice cream. I t was about 4pm so in between major mealtimes and so it was a bit slow. I think I was the only one in there. Located in the Promenade. It's right next to the entrance near the skating rink. I was greeted by friendly staff who was ready to take my order. The decor inside is quite nice with colorful Asian lanterns and black tables and chairs. Although I should have ordered pho, I wasn't feeling it on this day. I just had a couple items on the appetizer menu. Wagyu sliders: these were pretty good. I tend to like lettuce in my burgers and the sliders didn't have any so I grabbed some leaves from the egg rolls to stuff in it. They were very tasty. Egg rolls: I'm used to having these type of egg rolls made with pork and shrimp so the beef threw me off. Not really my favorite but I could see how some would like it. 3 stars I would come back to try the pho though.

What a great Vietnamese restaurant! I got to try their pho wagyu A5 and it was truly amazing. The broth was so rich and the meat was fatty and thinly sliced but so flavorful. We also got the shaken beef rice plate and it came with a side of broth which was a good combo! They have plenty of seating and this place is located inside the mall but pretty easy to find plus there's a big parking structure attached to this mall. Service was great and so glad I finally got to try this restaurant! Their wagyu pho is 10/10 worth getting. Can't wait to be back!

My boyfriend and I love this place!! We come here at least once a month. Their pho is my favorite compared to other spots locally and even in Torrance. Their truffle fries are incredible and my boyfriend always gets their stew which is super flavorful. Staff is always super friendly and service is really quick. It is right next to the ice skating rink inside the PV mall. It gets a little chilly in there so this spot makes it perfect. We will back again soon!!

I went here with my sister on a Sunday morning right when they opened at 11:00 am. We were craving pho and have been here once before. The food was really good, service was great, and the restaurant was clean. They added lanterns on the ceiling, which added a nice touch. It's conveniently located in the Promenade. Golden Truffle Fries 4/5 I love fries and theirs is a must-try starter. There was a hint of sea salt and truffle oil. Yum. Wagyu Sliders 4/5 A little too much bread for me, but other than that, the Wagyu was flavored nicely and cooked medium-well. Pho with rare steak 4/5 Their broth was so flavorful. I knocked off a point because the last time I visited, I had their Pho with Wagyu A5. The Wagyu melted in my mouth like butter. The rare steak is good, but not as good as their Wagyu. I guess once you've tried their Wagyu A5, you can't have any other type of meat. I could taste the difference. Pea Tea 4/5 Refreshing!

Half eaten Crispy Truffle Fries! (They give you more than this)

Service we got was great, truffle fries are crispy! Thai tea was not overly sweet. I loved it! Pho broth is more on the light/herby/floral side--not salty but peppery. Meat presentation was sad for both orders (one combo pho and one rare steak pho) :( they were crumpled up, not laid flat uniformly. Phos were in the $20s. Ambiance when we went was 7pm on a Friday--a couple of screaming toddlers unfortunately, my right ear drum feels busted but it is what it is. Very casual. Right next to the ice rink too! Hmm, we're not coming back for pho, my husband is Vietnamese and very picky about his pho--didn't make the cut, so for me :c, but the truffle fries so yummy. Thank you for the food though!

There have been a few Vietnamese restaurants expanding from Little Saigon (Garden Grove and Westminster) into the South Bay, including Pho Hue Oi and Pho Redbo. Having visited Pho Redbo's Garden Grove location many times, I was excited to try its Rolling Hills Estates branch. Unfortunately, while still good, it wasn't nearly as memorable. The menu at the Rolling Hills Estates location differs somewhat from the Garden Grove and Westminster branches. I appreciate that Pho Redbo is willing to experiment with new dishes and fresh interpretations of Vietnamese cuisine. That said, I didn't find the food here as satisfying as what I've consistently enjoyed at the Garden Grove location. Pho Combo - 4/5. As with every Pho Redbo I've visited, the meats are excellent - high-quality, tender, and well-prepared. One thing I've always loved about the Garden Grove and Westminster locations is their pho broth. It tastes like it's made in-house with fresh ingredients, carefully simmered to develop depth and complexity. The broth at the Rolling Hills Estates location, however, tasted much more generic. It reminded me of the broth served at many other pho restaurants. To be clear, it's still better than what you'll find at most pho spots in the South Bay, but it lacks the richness that makes Pho Redbo's original locations stand out. In my palate, the broth could use more rendered beef fat, along with a stronger balance of aromatics and spices, to create a fuller, more layered flavor. On a positive note, the rice noodles were cooked well - springy and pleasantly al dente. Pho Sandwich - 2.5/5. This is essentially Pho Redbo's take on a Vietnamese-inspired Philly cheesesteak, and I genuinely love the creativity behind the concept. Unfortunately, the execution didn't quite come together. The beef is, once again, excellent. Although the beef can use a bit more flavoring. Instead of traditional cheese, the sandwich uses a Sriracha mayo, which I thought was a clever substitution. However, the hoisin sauce (or what I believe was hoisin) was overly sweet and overpowered the other flavors. I understand this isn't meant to be a bánh mì, but I think the sandwich would benefit greatly from some pickled carrots, daikon, or/and cucumbers. The acidity and freshness would help balance the richness of the beef. The promotional photos also show a generous amount of onions, but my sandwich had very few, making it feel somewhat one-dimensional. Then there's the bread. A great Vietnamese-style sandwich still depends on a great baguette. Mine lacked the signature thin, crackly crust and slightly chewy interior. Instead, it was dry overall and overly soft and pillowy inside. One aspect I did enjoy was that the sandwich comes with a side of the same beef broth served with the pho. It's a thoughtful pairing that complements the sandwich well. Overall, I'm admittedly picky when it comes to noodle dishes, especially pho. Despite my criticisms, I still think Pho Redbo is one of the best pho restaurants in the South Bay. However, compared with its Garden Grove and Westminster locations, the Rolling Hills Estates branch falls short. Some of the flavors simply aren't as refined or memorable as those at the original locations.

Probably because it's Korean, in a Korean supermarket, where the competitors that folded shop were not always. Other stands also had a freshness issue - not much turnover as most visitors want Korean. Each time I shop at HMart, I see big soup bowls from Hansol. And I think, as a giant soup lover, I need to get me some. It always looks so good. Unfortunately, it does not taste as good as it looks. For example, the 2 rib special looks fantastic but the meat is tough to eat. The noodles are flat, need some flare. The rice bowls lack flavor. I see all these glowing reviews and know I'm swimming against the tide. Probably sacrilege for me to say that the Hmart prepared food tastes better than this restaurant... but I find this to be the case. The prices - not great. You pay for the convenience of being in a market. Counterintuitive as the ambience is what what you'd expect to pay for.
