Been here twice. First time, we ordered Seafood Chow Fun. It was delicious! Second time, we ordered more items. Food was decent. One of my orders was Beef with Black Bean sauce and it was spicy and I can't eat spicy food due to my stomach. I have never seen this item spicy and I am familiar with it. Its not supposed to have red hot peppers. Menu didn't indicate it either. They have boba drinks and smoothies too. Avocado shake is yummy! But my husband and daughter got pineapple boba. I'm pretty sure she heard my order on the phone but that particular smoothie didn't quite taste like pineapple.. The little hole in the wall restaurants are always the best. The food here was delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and gave amazing recommendations. The serving sizes were incredibly generous as well. My boyfriend ordered a large soup, and I ordered a small. We could barely tell there a was a difference in size. The small was huge. OMG! This place is a revelation. Seriously, I didn't have super high hopes for this place, but oh I'm so thrilled at how wrong I was! The food was fresh, flavorful, well presented, delicious! THANK YOU for being one of the only Vietnamese restaurants that provide enough peanut sauce to satisfy my need to douse the fresh spring rolls in yumminess. I literally came to this restaurant with a open mind I have never been here before so I wanted to try a new pho spot. The customer service was great. But the food I'm so disappointed I got a R5 and A12 or 13 the Appetizer. I went to the restaurant around 820pm Order my food waited about 15mins got my food and went home. Came home opened my food it looked so delicious I proceeded to start eating the fried shrimp and egg roll from the appetizer plate. "Im like this is so good!" Let me try some of they sweet and sour sauce. Open it and what I see a baby freaking roach in my sweet and sour sauce I instantly got sick and thought I was tripping. I went to the bathroom came back and looked at it and it was really a baby roach. I could not eat the rest of my food and the restaurant was already closed by then so I could not call or go get a refund but I still will be going back but after I get off work because I can't be there when they open at 10am because I work from 9am-6pm. Hubby found this Pho house while out and about so we decided to visit for lunch. When I am in a new restaurant I tend to scour plates and ask the wait staff questions before ordering (don't judge me lol). 100% of the dining patrons were enjoying pho (great sign!). The menu had a plethora of options, both Chinese and Vietnamese, which drove me to indecision despite all the huge bowls of pho on every table. Hubby was crystal clear before we hit the door; it's was freezing cold out and he wanted pho! We started with the sampler appetizer which we enjoyed. The foil wrapped chicken took me back to being five years old, at our family's favorite Chinese restaurant in China Town in Oakland. My dad would always order the foil wrapped chicken. Although I knew what was inside, it felt like Christmas, opening the small, steamy, pouches of foil and ingest the signature soy sauce/chicken aroma (of which Pho Viet completely nailed!), and dive it. I should have ordered a plate of foil wrapped chicken, just for the sweet memories! We did have a challenge ordering lunch, as we didn't understand our waitress, or the person she summoned over when she realized we didn't understand her. It was clear she was "head honcho" and absolutely no violins/patience. Our waitress was few with words, attempted to swiftly and briefly reply, and you had better be ready to order! Feeling frustrated but having made it through the app order successfully, we pointed to the pictures and were able to order. Hubby ordered the shrimp and pork pho and I ordered a vermicelli plate with egg roll, sausage, shrimp and beef. Both were good, but hubby's pho was the absolute bomb! Added a little hoisin and chili oil and he was off to heaven lol. I had a few spoonfuls and regretted not ordering soup as well. Now I understand why every single table each person was enjoying hot, flavorful, beautifully textured, pho! Beef on vermicelli plate and combo appetizer was dry but it's thin cut and should be expected, unless beef for pho which typically is served raw or medium rare. Would return if hubby ordered to go for us. The in-person order experience could have been better and influenced our motivation to dine in again. read more

It's my 5th time eating at this restaurant and I noticed it my 3rd time eating here but I thought nothing of it. I specifically order the large r1 pho dac biet and strawberry banana with boba. They put only a small amount of pho when I ordered a large. I finished my bowl in less than 5 mins. The waitress asked me twice if I wanted boba in my shake I said yes. I always say yes. I keep forgetting to write a review for this place. I moved to Sacramento a few years back and I have been coming to this place ever since. The pho is absolutely delicious and the services is amazing. They always give such large portions and sooo much meat. The steak pieces are always really fresh. Other restaurants have raw steak that is weird in color but theirs is always very red and fresh! I have not been able to come back in person ever since COVID but I still doordash from them at least once a month. Their portions remain unchanged and still deliver amazing food even if I am not sitting down in the restaurant. Please give this place a chance if you are looking for good pho! read more

My family and I are a regulars at this restaurant since the food here is really good especially the pho and the pork chops. But every time when I ordered the M1 special they never fail to NOT bring me the soup that comes with it. Today I placed an order to go for my M1 order and the pho special and again they didn't want to give me the soup until I asked for it. They made a big deal about it but ended up giving me the soup. Went to dinner with my daughter tonight. I ordered the C5 pork over vermicelli. Not much flavor. It has a little meat. Lots of lettuce..noodles...a few veggies with vinegar sauce...2 egg rolls. I did not like the egg roll...it tasted weird... My daughter ordered the wonton noodle soup. She said really liked it. The place is not very clean. The hot sauce containers are very dirty and sticky. Yesterday evening for dinner we stopped in for the first time greeted by the sweet staff member working that night! Although we placed our order to-go since we were in a bit of a rush, everything was nicely presented when we opened up the to-go containers at home and we were excited to dive in and try everything! For appetizers: To start out with I figured we should place 2 orders of Pork Spring Rolls since they come with 2 each and with my daughter their were 3 of us and she loves spring rolls, little did I know they were huge so I split mine with her! The noodles were a nice edition to the rolls, plenty of fresh leafy greens inside, flavorful grilled pork and a delectable Peanut sauce for dipping, so healthy and essentially a meal in itself! For my entrée: I always wanted to try Pho and I ended up ordering the Pho Ga Chat, fyi this dish has chopped chicken with bones and the skin on, so make sure to remove before placing into the broth. The chicken was good and paired well with the crunch of the bean sprouts, what I'm guessing soft tofu, soft white noodles and flavorful warm broth! I got 2 bonus beef meatballs placed by accident into my pho, but no complaints it was delicious and I wanted more, plus now I know I'll like their meatball dishes as well, yum! To flavor the broth it comes with a fresh slice of lime, very flavorful garlic sauce and packets of thick, sweet Hoisin Sauce mm what a delicious meal! I only left out the jalapeños the dish came with since I'm a chicken when it comes to spicy peppers. This is quite a hefty portion unless you have a hearty appetite, it will last you at least a few meals, you really get your money's worth! For dessert: I had their Sinh to dua which is translated to Young Coconut Shake, it was perfect, thick and creamy just how I like my shakes and a unique sweet taste as well, very yummy! I would definitely recommend trying out this restaurant, I know we'll be back to dine in next time and try more of their vast menu, plus it's close by! read more
