    75. Grilled Chicken, Shrimp Wrapped & Eggrolls on Vermicelli
    Anhvy D.

The staff is attentive, but the restaurant is nondescript. We arrived just before the lunch crowd. Door dashers were abundant, too, so this restaurant definitely has a loyal customer base. The presentation of my grilled chicken, shrimp wrap, and egg roll on vermicelli was beautiful, but the dish overall lacked flavor. Even after the second serving of nuoc mam and lots more chili sauce, I asked for ớt hiểm (fresh chili), hoping that was what was missing in the flavor profile. Sadly, the restaurant doesn't have any. Vietnamese restaurants in La Mirada and La Habra do though. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dish, so I'll order the pho next time.

Was in whittier, so brought my wife here to get pho and banh mi. We each ordered the beef brisket pho and shared a beef banh mi. Both dishes were very tasty. They really hit the spot for our pho and banh mi carvings

Really yummy local spot! I had the #3 pho and I thought it was really good, the beef was very tender! The service was quick, and the staff was so nice and friendly. I felt like the prices were comparable to other pho spots, and it's only $1 more to make the pho bowl from a regular to a large. The thai tea was also really good. The inside was clean and spacious, and I did not use the restroom myself, but someone I was with went and said it was very clean!

Music is loud. Food is good. Service is quick. We were pleasantly surprised with this north OC Vietnamese restaurant. They have an extensive menu! The food came out hot and soooo fast (less than 10 mins). I enjoyed their crispy, flavorful calamari appetizer.

Great Pho and service! They're renovating the outside area for outside seating too, looking great!

Ordered the brisket pho but there was no brisket to be found. Some may like the fat but me personally, I enjoy the tender brisket meat. This wouldn't be the first time for me to be disappointed by their brisket and you would think I would learn my lesson by now... Guess you will see me at pho-ology next time around!! Honorable mention for the broth, the egg rolls, and lychee tea!

First time here. Great menu selections. The staff is friendly and gives excellent service, the food tastes great! It's a small restaurant but has enough space to eat comfortably with a party of 4 or 6. I think this place is a great find! Definitely coming back. I ordered the House Special Pho that included tripe, rare steak, and brisket. My son ordered the beef Vermicelli with egg rolls. Both fantastic dishes!

Have been coming here for a while now and this place never disappoints. I've only experienced their take out food option and have yet to sit inside the restaurant, but it's such an easy process to either order online or call in to order. You can go wrong with ordering any of their many pho soups but my go to is the brisket pho. This was my first time trying their beef spring rolls and it was worth it! Definitely recommend trying them out! I posted the receipt as the yelp photos are pretty old essentially all the pho items are roughly the same price of $15. Next time I eat inside I'll grab a pic of the menu! Over all not bad for the price!

We were pleasantly surprised with the pho here. You can choose a regular or large size pho. The large size was HUGE & the regular size was also quite substantial. We were also quite happy with the authentic taste of the broth. Good job! On a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant wasn't full, but there were quite a few customers... a big group and a few other tables. The servers were friendly and helpful. If I'm back in the neighborhood, I would consider another visit.

Do you use star anise and/or cinnamon in any/all of your Pho? I'm looking for soup without them. Thanks,

Hi, we have 3 kind of broths which is beef broth(pho), chicken broth and vegetables broth. Only the beef broth has the star anise and cinnamon on it the other two broths haven’t.

    Is it owned by Vietnamese?

I think so. I did communicate with the owner and his name is Vietnamese. Also, the staff seems to be Vietnamese. I do not know for sure, but that is my assessment.

Beef onion dumplings were good, perhaps pan fried is a better option, steamed ones were bland unless you use chili oil. The onion pancake, this was good, however it was super flat and NOT worth $9! Don't know if I'd go back, I don't taste the flavor or see the value in the $50 I spent for two people. *best orange chicken locally in my opinion, is Thai House down the street!

Bad timing for lunch, too many people were waiting in line, dining inside. We waited for 20 mins at Daiso, another 20 mins outside restaurant. First, the service was awful. Nobody paid attention to us to bring us some iced water, forks, and extra noodles. Normally the servers asked us to refill the noodles, or served fast but today was disaster for us. Other people came later than us but the server served them iced water and took their orders not ours. What happened to us today? We sat at the tiny table in the corner and we barely moved to eat our foods, we ordered 3 items which were 2 beef belly phos and fried rice w shrimps. There was not any rooms available for all the foods including pho toppings, sauces, and other entree. We were not comfortable at all. And also, my wife and I couldn't eat the fried rice w shrimps. How can we eat w chopsticks or deep scoop shaped soup spoon? How hard is everything today? We tried to call the server for 2 forks but no one paid attention. Wow...wow.... I felt bad feeling about this restaurant for the first time. The service, attention, everything was not normal. Waiting time was 15 to 20 mins but we had to wait for 40 mins. Barely sat soooo tiny table. My wife got really upset at the service. She got an email about the lunch special, beef belly pho Mon to Fri 2 days ago. That is why we decided to go to eat today. We regretted to hit the rush hour and got badly treated by the servers. What can I say? Can I say "Do not send an email for promo event?" Really Bad day for us. No respect, no relaxation, no comfort foods.....

Their prices have increased since the first time I went, as expected since everything has gone up now in days. They give you your protein in a plate and you just start stacking up the veggies as high as you want. My only gripe would be have more tongs in the veggie section, doesn't feel right using one for all the vegetables. Then you get to your spice level.. there's 3 options Regular, Medium, Spicy.. I think Spicy is the only way to go honestly. It gives the food a nice little kick. The food to me is really good, you customize it how you want it.. doesn't get better than that & depending how much you were able to put on the plate, you might be able to take some back home, I personally always finish my plate. My biggest complaint is they have a "time they open" and i've gotten there.. and guess what they are not OPEN!! He couldn't because from the beginning there wasn't any other protein except for beef. His response is we'll tell the cashier and I'll take this home. I'm like and then what, wait another 45 mins because there are 15 people waiting too. He basically shrugged it off like meh not my problem.
