This place has been here for a long time. I read that it was originally opened by British immigrants in the 1960s but now ran by a Korean family operator for over 25 years. While this fish and chip shop seems to fits well with all the bars on Polk street, I hope that with all the fancy restaurants popping up, people don't forget about these older places. They used to have seating in the back, but on my last visit, they only allow takeout orders. Besides fish and chips, they have fried shrimps, oysters, clams, crabs, scallops, chicken, chips, onion rings, corn dog, zucchini, mushrooms, etc. I usually just get fish and chips but on my last visit, I also got the fried shrimps which I really like. They give you a number beeper which rings when your order is ready. There are not seating at this place. It is all to go or take out orders. Parking can be difficult but I circled once and found a spot in front of the place on a Friday afternoon.
