I actually went online before to find some reviews about Pierre Money Mart. I found a good one for a particular person and so I asked for him. We began alright. He was polite and asked me for all my inforamtion. I specifically told him I only wanted to spend a certain amount. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because it was the holiday season, and I did talk to both finance and sales. The problem is that I was specific in my request that we only wanted to spend a certain amount, and it was a long way to go to drive from out home to get there, so I called ahead of time to make sure they had cars in that range. I connected with the person who I had been referred to and he was outwardly rather rude. He said they didn't deal in cars that were in the $8k range, and did I know how much a car they would sell for in that range would be if they bought it? It would be about $4K to $5k in order that they make a profit. Hmm, not what I expected from their ads. I realized when I then went to a normal car dealer on Auburn way that I was being "buried in a car payment" if I dealt with Pierre, just as the Sales staff where I ended up said! I didn't want to spend $15 - $20k for a car at that time. I wanted to be responsible and pay what I could really afford. I was told the Finance Mgr would call me back to see if he had a car in mind that was in my range. I never got that call. How curious. I think I dodged a bullet. I went on to buy a car from another dealer and my husband was approved and they worked with us even with our lower score which we have due to layoffs and near foreclosure, nothing sinister like dogging our responsibilities. Think first before going to Pierre if this is the way they do business. Just sayin'. read more

I give this place 1 star because the option of zero doesnt exist. This is literally the WORST place to buy a car, ever. If you're desperate, I would still advise you take the bus than try to come here. I was moving out of state for work. have 2 dogs, and bad credit thanks to an ex, and needed a car desperately. All of their commercials and websites scream that they can get anybody into the car they want, bad credit or not. With time running out, I came here with my mom (she cosigned) to try and get a car. First off, the guy I talked to on the phone was a complete dick in person. He told me that my credit wasnt that good but with my mom cosigning, finding a car would not be an issue at all and to come down. We get there, and we wait for an hour and he tells us he probably cant find us a car. Not what he said on the phone? After maybe 15 more minutes, he finds ONE place that will give us a loan. And tells us that they have to choose the car, and out of hundreds upon hundreds of cars they choose a 2004 ford expedition with 115,000 miles. A gas guzzler, when I asked the sales guy preferably for a sedan. He told me I could take this car, or no car at all because they had no other options for me, then tried to rush me into agreement, saying that there was another couple waiting to test drive it. With only 2 days to find a car, I agreed. Worst decision of my life. The car is a piece of shit. Sure it runs, and fits my dogs, but somehow they took my income and made my payment $500 a month off of it, thats about 1/3 of what I make monthly. 1 fucking third. How does that work out? Not to mention the car costs $100+ to fill. Long story short, the sales people here are PIECES OF SHIT. They are your stereotypical sleezeball cars salesmen with cheap cologne and suits, and greasy hair just trying to get rid of cars they dont want on poor people who desperately need them. I'm truly surprised they haven't been gone after by the BBB or sued for false advertisement. Bad credit my ass. Im currently saving up to pay whats left of this car off so I can sell it and buy a new car in cash. No matter how desperate you are, shy far from this place and call as many other dealerships as you can to see if someone else can help you out. Honestly Pierre Money Mart was a last resort. Their reviews are bad and the last thing I wanted was to get taken advantage of by another car salesman. That being said, I got approved through their website and made an appointment. When I showed up they were friendly and offered me coffee. They spent 45 minutes going over my credit with me (frustrating but I get it). The credit manager actually gave me a few helpful tips for my medical collections. Today a miracle happened lol! Last year, I was desperate for a bigger car because we were expecting our newest addition. Dumb me went out and gave my money away for a down payment on a junk 2001 Acura MDX with super duper high interest rate because of my poor credit. Before I went to Pierre money mart I tried a different dealership who I really thought could help considering they were able to help a friend of mine kind of with the samed credit situation. Today I traded that piece of shit in and the fellas down at Pierre money mart Ernest and Nate to be specific was able to get me into a BRAND NEW 2016 Chevy CRUZE!!! These guys were able to cut more than half my interest rate and for just $41 dollars more than what I was paying! It's not my dream car but now I won't have to worry about it breaking down on us and will save so much money on gas! But if it ever did, I have warranty for the next 4 years or 50k miles! I honestly did not think they were gonna be able to help one bit, but they definitely made it happen! THANK YOU @pierremoneymart. I was sad to read about other people's experience here because yes even though dealership was a little run down, and there was coffee spilled over on the desk and they didn't "look" the part, they were able to help me. Pierre Money Mart - BRAND NEW 2016 CHEVY CRUZE!!! - Car Dealers Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I find their commercials a bit disingenuous and here's why. I went to Pierre Money Mart a year ago. This was after communicating with them via e-mail and a phone call. I told them what I was looking for and the payments I wanted to make. I also told them that when I came in I expected to just sign financial paperwork, give them a copy of my insurance cover and drive away. I was asked by one person to fax to them my paycheck stub, copy of driver's license and a voided check to confirm I had a bank account. I did all that the Thursday before I took vacation time to go in. The other person didn't know I had faxed that information already. Luckily, I still had the paperwork in my bag. I was looking for a minivan, but they said they had a 2005 Chevy Equinox that might work for me. That is the car I expected to test drive. I told both sales people I had 2 Clumber Spaniels which are big dogs. The 2nd salesman, the one I dealt with in person, obviously didn't hear a word I said about needing space and no compact car because the first car he wanted me to look at was a Toyota Yaris. 1 dog crate would barely fit let alone 2 and then there is all the stuff I haul to dog shows. I don't know why it took him so long to go through the inventory, but it did. The next car was a 2009 Chevy HHR. The cost between a 2005 car and a 2009 car is several thousand dollars. On top of that they wanted, in cash, $1250.00 for tax and license. They had my paycheck stub so they knew how much I take home every 2 weeks. Are they crazy???? I was very angry when I left as I felt they got me there under false pretenses. It was a bait and switch and I wasted 4 hours of vacation time and still have no car. My wife and I went in to trade our car in that we had bought from them previously. We were looking for the smaller version of the Focus. The salesman acted as if he was not interested in working with us. After about 30 min he told us that he could not locate a car on the lot that we were looking for. OMG this place was horrible!!! Sleazy, slimy, and shifty! I was looking for a car for a couple weeks and I have bad credit. I'm in a different place now, making good money, low rent payment, and lots of job stability. I made mistakes in the past but am now perfectly capable of making a car payment. I was ushered in there by some weird guy from Pierre Ford for "special financing" and the entire experience REEKED of slimy used car salesmen trying to "r***" you financially!! I didn't want a Ford as I HATE Fords, they are crap quality and ugly, but that's neither here nor there... I had come by to see a Toyota. So I spent lots of my time on a Friday night discussing how awful my credit was and how it wasn't a "dream car" program. So basically if I was approved I would be paying 400-500 a month for a cheap crappy car to get around in and rebuild my credit. Then I could trade in or refinance. If I had gotten a car there, best believe had a traded in later once I had better credit I would have been upside down on my loan. If I had refinanced I would still be stuck with whatever they put me in... After spending FOREVER on my Friday night the salesperson finally told me I wasn't approved unless I had a co-signer. That's cool, they wanted WAYYY too much for their cars anyway!! I had bad credit so they're going to take me for as much as possible.... Anyway, I don't know why I stayed so long, curiousity I suppose... I wanted to see what kind of car they would put me in for 400-500 a month!! At the end of it all I just wanted to leave I was tired of being jerked around by different people and wasting my valuable time. The guy I had been working with tried to send me to his "friend down the street" with a buy here pay here lot! Oh really? So I can buy a waayy overpriced car with an ungodly interest rate that I would have to worry about breaking down on me? No thanks!!! Long story short, I went to a Nissan dealership, had an AMAZING experience and drove away in a BRAND NEW CAR for the same payment I would have gotten at Pierre!!! More corrupt than regular dealerships. Brought my car into trade they asked for the keys to look at the mileage and didn't even look at the mileage they grabbed the registration without asking me. They showed me how much I would pay depending on which size car I tried to go for a smaller car for lower payments. They kept trying to bully me into getting a bigger car. They kept saying hurry up and get a car because your car is gonna break down. My car has low mileage and is still in great condition. I test drove a car but barely. It was sketchy because they didn't even ask for my license or insurance. I only drove down the street and back. I asked if they had any other cars they said that's it. DO NOT go to Jeff "The Rev"! He is why car salesmen have such horrible reputations. He lied about the interest rate, (yes I am intelligent enough to see the difference in the contract before signing), about how long the service contract is (note: it is not 2 years, it is 2 oil changes), about how long you get XM radio, and the gas mileage the car gets. When I asked him to fix the XM issue he lied yet again and then insulted me and told me he was calling the police and accused me of driving under the influence. He began taking pictures of my car when I got in to leave. He is a complete jerk and does not deserve anyone's commission. He needs to go to anger management and learn to control his temper. His professionalism goes right out the window the second he has your money. I would give negative stars if I could. He should not be in this line of work. read more

Yelp makes Pierre Money Mart look like a stereotypical, shabby car dealer. The bulk of the review are 2-3 years old and are negative. I'm told that the general manager, Curt mentioned in some reviews, was not a very good manager and since his leaving the place has gotten dramatically better. I don't find that hard to believe. I had an exceptional experience. I went in with the intent to just shop and see what my options were. I have a low credit score (540ish), and didn't have much in the way of a downpayment. I expected to get the runaround, or to get told that I only qualified for financing on a clunker. Tom Smith ran my loan application through a database that sought approval from about 15 lenders. And, although I didn't qualify for much, he was simply tenacious. He saw that I was approved by the lender that finances for Mitsubishi, and a thought crossed his mind. He told me that they were trying to move the '14 Mirage to make way for the '15 and he new Mitsu and the Bill Pierre group were willing to deal. Long story short, it did take about three hours of paperwork and grit, Tom got me into a 2015 Mitsu Mirage, brand new, for $500 down and payments of $300 a month. I was so blown away that I said okay, and now I'm the proud owner of a BRAND NEW CAR. I simply thought that with my credit this was never going to happen, Tommy went to bat for me. I would encourage ANYONE to give them a shot, especially if your credit is less than good. I should also say thanks to Peter for helping us out too! So the first experience I had with them was that they could "no problem!" help me out and get me into a new car! They took my old car as a trade took my keys and all then we ran into a snag..no problem they said .. STILL its been 2 weeks now! All I get are back and forth calls. However In the second phone call back to me about trying to find my trade in vehicle! a salesman by the name of Tom Smith started inquiring about what had happened and why my deal had fallen through. He told me to let him have a shot at getting me into a car. So I did. I am pleased to report I am now in a vehicle that isn't new but it is what i was looking for for my son and my payments are what i can handle and the car is great. He was fantastic and did everything in his power to get us into a car and made it happen when the other salesman threw in the towel and really didn't care about anything but THEIR BOTTOM LINE! Tom Smith was fabulous and treated us honestly and fair and got the end result and I will go back to HIM when its time for another car! PS... I still haven't gotten my other car back from the dealership.. we didn't use it in the deal with Tom.. they still haven't found my keys or my paperwork!! So I might have to say that they are completely unorganized and they don't seem to find the fact that they have LOST my title paperwork and two sets of keys a PROBLEM!! I had a great experience there. They got us into a Prius and it has been an awesome family car. We worked with Richard and hammer. It was a long process but they wanted to be sure to find us the perfect loan as well as the perfect car. A couple of weeks after we got the car, the check engine light came on. You sign a waiver that the car is sold as is, however they paid for it to be fixed immediately. And with no problems. When we get another car, we intend to purchase through them again. read more

This dealership seems to revolve around preying upon people desperate for transportation. The worst experience in my life at a car dealership and the absolut most unprofessional staff with one exception as far as the 4 people I dealt with. I wish I even remembered thier names in the finance dept so people would know to stay far far away. They would never in this lifetime get my business nor would I recommend them to a soul. Go in as an informed consumer and watch them attempt to manipulate, twist, redirect and pressure you into a unacceptable deal. BUT when I got into the finance office with George he had me signing all of my documents and without realizing until I got home I bought an additional power train warranty for $2,500 that I have no interest in. They delivered a detailed car, and took the time to let me shop. Their follow up was good too. I found pierre money mart and read the reviews and decided to try them to see if they could help me. I found the truck I wanted and got a great interest rate.... or so I thought. three weeks ago I bought my truck, traded in my old truck put 1,000 down. Ive been waiting for a call or a piece of mail from the loan company saying when my payment is due. I checked with my previous loan company and it has been paid in full. Yesterday I get a call from the dealership saying that they were unable to fund my loan as agreed. First they asked if my girlfriend could cosign to help me get the original loan or if I could get my own financing. I said I wont ask my GF to do that but I will run to my bank and see what they say. The guy goes yeah just take in the purchase order in with you and see what they say. So I get approved through my bank only problem is they said my new truck was worth less than what I was applying for. So i call the dealership back saying my bank is saying the truck is only worth 16800 and thats all they will finance me for. I spoke to the dealership today and was told that if I put additional money down they would redo my contract minus the warranty and then that would put the price where my bank said they would finance me. My loan paper work says that the dealership must notify me within four buisness days if loan approval can not be aquired. I had the truck for 25 days prior to them contacting me. The papers also say that if after the four days the finacing isnt complete the contract is void and I have 24 hrs to return the truck once they request that I do so. My dream turned into a nightmare hopefully someone will find this helpfull and wont be dissapointed like me read more

I was looking for a vehicle a while back ago, went to pierre money mart looking for a truck, all my numbers written down. Told the person how much I was looking to spend with the budget in mind. Basically I was looped around by a bait n switch, did my credit check 3-4 different times with a co-signer. Came home without a new vehicle and later that night read up on yelp about people having the same issues the very same day. Later on the day after I called them asking them to have my registration ready for me, because I was not looking to purchase a vehicle from this company. They returned my registration and proceeded to follow me outside of the build while attempting to STILL make a sale. Mean while, during the test drive. My sales agent at the time for the vehicle decides to tell me he was just recently caught for drunk driving. I would not recommend this business to anyone I liked, possibly a few people who I'd like to see get screwed over by 300 dollar car payments along with an interest rate "In the teens" And yes I did put it quote since another sales agent attempted to tell me with a co-signer that my interest rates would be in the teens. I walked in and told the first salesperson i spoke with, Eric, that I needed a high MPG car under $100/month. I also told him i have some money for a down payment. He took me back to his office for 2 hours of paperwork and waiting around. He said this is how we do it here. After 2 hours they showed me a 2007 civic - the only car they would show. Eric said this car was within my budget. I took it for test drive - it was ok. When we got back to the office they offered me the car for 15k (WAAAY overpriced) and $212 a month. I said no and went elsewhere. I dont know why someone would buy a car here with so many better options out there. Dont waste your time. read more

I applied for this company online hoping to get a car within two weeks and explained in detail my situation. Frank contacted me back and I explained more details to him. I just started working with a temp company and after 90 days I would be working for a very well know travel company. At that point I had only worked for the two week, the past couple years I had two very steady jobs that I was at for more than one year and two years. I took one short term job to get throu the holidays but with this new job I needed a car badly. The hours I would be working I cant take the bus. Plus I fully explained I have bad credit. From the start Frank made it sound hopeful, after a couple days he asked me to stop by and scheduled an appointment with me on a Sunday. He told me he found a bank that would work with me, the would be okay with $500 down and payment under $350 per month. I full and over explained to him since I am taking the bus its extremely hard for me to get out there and it would take more than a couple buses and a couple hours. From there he told me what I needed to bring with me. After that I was able to get a ride out there so I could drop off the paperwork early. I went out there and meet with a really tall guy, I explained that I was working with Frank and all the information that I gave from. Gave him my paperwork and told him that I was just getting off work. I didn't want to sit in a dealership for hours because I was hungry. After about 15 minutes waiting for him to get back to me, he said he would pass me to another person Paul. A very short man with Asian descent. Again, now a bit more irritated, the same situation I explained to frank and the tall man. Plus informed him I didn't want to be there for long; I was tired and hungry. After 20 more minutes he came back with a bunch of paperwork to fill out. Now I get even more irritated. After spending 50 minutes getting all that paperwork done I gave it to Paul and he said there is nothing they can do without me putting down about $2000 down. At this point I am highly upset and told this guy NO this is not what I explained to you, to frank and to the tall guy. I am NOT come up with that amount of money and stormed out. After that a couple days later I spoke to Frank who explained that he worked out a deal with someone else to get me a loan for $500 down and payments under $350 per month. I agreed meeting on Sunday would be find but when I called him on Sunday to check up on the deal I found out that was not true. After all that I have to say Pierre Money Mart is a scam, that wasted a large amount of my time and could not hold up what they were saying. If you have fair credit you might have a shot with him but if your in my situation or close STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are all hot air. read more
