I like to support small businesses. So, I decided to give this place a try. I ordered on the phone for the Hawaiian pizza. As I arrived, I gave the money to my 11-year-old daughter to pay and pickup the pizza. I was parked right in front of the building, so I can see my daughter and what's going around. It was a pleasant transaction. My daughter told me the workers there were in awe of her and made sure she left the premises safely to my car bc there was another customer (adult male) in the restaurant. I like that they cared to stop a little bit of what they're doing to consider my daughters safety. As for the pizza, it was very delicious. My first time trying this place and I got a medium-sized calzone which is pictured. I LOVED it!! Best calzone I've had in LB so far. The crust is not too doughy and has a garlic taste which I love! They don't put marinara sauce inside but do give you a cup of it on the side. Best part is you can get FOUR toppings inside! Medium size was between $6-$7 and with four toppings I think that's a great price. The workers were friendly! They quoted me a 20 minute wait for 2 medium calzones and that's about the amount I waited given there was 3 orders ahead of me. Things happen. The food: Pizza: The pizza was cooked well but the dough tastes like cardboard. The toppings did not taste that good. Almost like it wasn't fresh. Wings: All of the wings were previously frozen and you could taste it. The lemon pepper wings had no lemon and had no pepper. The original buffalo wings were good but not cooked well enough since they were slimy. The mango wings were the same, undercooked and tasted like they were frozen for a year. The condiments were really cool. They do not charge you for ranch. The packets are clear so you can see the parmasean and red pepper. Overall, not a good experience at all. Will not come back. Some of the best pizza in Long Beach. I called to place an order for delivery and the man on the phone was friendly and polite. Less than 30 minutes later, our pizzas arrived. The delivery lady was also very sweet. The total for two specialty pizzas and a drink was just $22. No delivery fee. I am vegan, my boyfriend is not. Typically we will share the same pizza, and request for it to be made well done, with one half regular and the other half vegan (no meat/no cheese). Pinches does not offer vegan cheese, but they were accommodating to the request. We got a large Hawaiian (add jalapeños), and a small two topping pizza. The crust was perfectly chewy, with a subtle sourdough flavor. The sauce tasted fresh and flavorful, with a nice spicy kick. They do not skimp on the toppings. Ordered delivery from here a couple times now and both times the pizza has been disappointing. I know they get creative with their pies but a simple 2-topping pizza is a good enough metric to measure any pizza spot in my opinion. Both times my pizza has been delivered undercooked. The pre-processed pizza dough flavor and texture of the dough gets emphasized because of this. It's chewy and soggy makes it super tough to enjoy and doesn't even really taste like flour. I pop it into the oven to at least finish cooking it from raw but once dough rests after it's initial cooking, it won't get "fixed" and taste the way it's supposed to taste. The wings are okay; always ask for sauce on the side for delivery. The chicken tenders and fries came looking dark brown and soggy, which usually happens when oil isn't clean. This makes the food look more cooked than it is. The quality of ingredients is Little Caesar's level. And preparation is below that. I hope they step their game up... read more

I ordered a large pizza and cheese breadsticks. They called me 15 minutes later to inform me they were out of breadsticks but offered to replace it with a cheese bread (more expensive item) at no extra cost. I've only done pick-up so I can't comment on delivery times yet. The food is good and very reasonably priced compared to what other places would charge. I like that they also offer fries, chicken tenders and ice cream-items I typically don't see offered at pizza places. I can see myself getting super fat from being unable to resist their food and low prices. Parking can be rough. There's only neighborhood parking and the front curb that is shared with other stores. Even so, I seldom see a lack of parking at the front from all the times I've been here. I suspect you'd only run into parking issues during lunch rushes. They also accept both card and cash. There is a small charge of around 50 cents if you use a card as payment. I don't remember the exact amount. If you use card, the employees might tell you not to worry about the tip section when signing the receipt, but there is a tip jar on the counter if you want to! Service is nice too. They explain things clearly and keep you well-updated on the status of your order. They will also try to open the door for you too if you happen to be carrying a lot of items from your order. Initially I was intrigued and chuckled by the name of the restaurant. The place is small with a decent "hole in the wall" feel. Unfortunately it went from Pinches Pizza to "Pinches Pelos". For those who are bilingual deficient, "Pelos" means HAIR. There was a hair in our large pep pizza and found another in our order of garlic bread. I was taken back by all the positive reviews. This is my second review of this amazing pizza place !!! So today, I went out with my boyfriend and a bunch of amazing friends including their kids. So we order the Family deal which comes with 2 pizzas, 12 wings, comes with garlic bread, and a 2 Ltr. Soda which we decided on Pepsi cause a majority of us loves Pepsi. The wings flavor we order was Buffalo and we even order a side of 18 wings as well which was 9 hot mango& 9lemon pepper flavors. Oh the best part was when all the food came, one of the employee was so sweet to give us Mozzarella sticks on the house.WHICH WAS THE HIGHLIGHT of the day&yummy! . There was 4 of us and 2 little girls who were gonna grub on the yummy food. This is our favorite place to grab pizza and wings. Really tasty pizza! It wasn't mind blowing, so it didn't get a 5 star, but for the price, I think this is a great option. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't have a delivery option - only takeout - so I assumed they didn't deliver and picked it up. Parking is a little tough here and I feel like the portions are just a bit smaller than you would get with a chain (Dominos for ex.), but the flavor is there. Pinches is hog heaven! My kids wanted stuffed crust pizza, (so I did a Yelp search of course) and Pinches came up with a fantastic review. I ordered 1 Hawaiian stuffed crust, 1 cheese stuffed crust, Alfredo fries with bacon, and a green salad to be a lil healthy. Both pizzas were super amazing, and the fries were heavenly. You can't come here often unless you want to weigh 300 pounds but once in a while it is definitely going to be a nice treat when you fall off the wagon or feel like some nice comfort junk food. Also, it's in a sketchy little area so look out for parking in front of the restaurant otherwise you'll have to fight off bums. read more
