Great flavor and on time delivery! You get cheese and chili flake packets so that's a plus. I'm keeping the bags you know.. use reuse recycle

Got a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I paid cash and the price was only $12.42. Wow, a large pizza with 2 toppings at a sub $13 price point. I believe they changed me for the Daily Deal for a Large 1 Topping pizza ($9.49) plus 1 topping ($1.75). Regardless of the price, it was a pretty good pizza. Just the right amount of tartness in the sauce. Generous amount of pepperoni. Good tasting dough. Service was very friendly. There is limited street parking in front. I ended parking in the residential area around the corner. On my next visit, I am going to request the pizza to be well done.

    Receipt of what i ordered

Placed an order through Postmates. When I received my order it was all wrong. I paid extra $2 to get jalapeños on my pizza and there was none. Also ordered 8 hot lemon pepper wings and received 7 lemon pepper wings. Whoever is reading their online orders at this establishment is obviously reading half assed. Need to pay more attention to what the customer is ordering.

Sooo happy we tried this place! Generous portions, delicious flavors, and friendly service. Absolutely worth every dollar spent. Came in specifically because I was craving a calzone and I was not disappointed. It was sooo good! The dough was crunchy and just the right amount of thin, for both the pizza and the calzone. Felt right at home eating here. Definitely coming back and bringing the whole family too! The buffalo chicken fries were also yummy! (And we can be picky with our fries) highly recommend!

Tasty. We appreciate the spin on a old classic!

Stumbled upon this spot. The pizza was good and they had a large variety to choose from. The vide is a little dark on the inside per the dark paint on the walls. Establishment is right off a busy street but was busy the entire time we sat and ate. I'm curious to see what other creations we can enjoy!

This owners way of talking is as DISGUSTING as his DISGUSTING PIZZAS!

Til this day the pizza hasn't improved. When I reheated my left over it taste worst. I not sure how so many people can't taste the disgusting dough, that's probably why it's overly covered with toppings and ingredients.

I love the food from here!! I've gotten pizza, pasta and garlic bread from here. They are very quick with the service, especially if you call the order in ahead of time. There is a seating area for dining in and it is very welcoming and comfortable enough for larger parties.

Great food, service was amazing, cute little inside sitting area with a tv playing games/fights. The parking in front of the shop is enough room for maybe 3 cars; It's on a Main Street so you will have to find parking near by the surroundings.

We had a great time to find some new hand care products @Lather and went to discover an authentic italian restaurant which lots of Yelpers mentioned. My wife said, we have to order at the front, then they bring the foods to the table but the owner took our orders, and brought the foods so fast just like other Italian restaurant. We love meat lasagna, pasta w bolonese sauce, and some flat breads like appetizer pizza. We ordered 3, lasagna, tagliatelle bolonese, flat bread sandwich called Cassone w sausage, bell pepper, onions. I had some italian red wine per glass ($14). First, I loved so much my lasagna and kept eating until finish my entire portion. I give 10 stars. My wife's pasta, she said pasta is too thick, might be on purpose? She likes soft, thin texture handmade tagliatelle. For the first time, we ordered flat bread sandwich. The sandwich flavor was good, but not the dough for flat bread. Well, we tried here for the 1st time after shopping. Today was almost 81 this afternoon. Hot and humid.....unluckily AC was broken so he opened the entrance door. One big fly bothered a lot annoying us eating the foods. And so hot inside restaurant. Overall, I liked my lasagna a lot, not really tagliatelle bolonese, nor the flat bread sandwich. If AC was working during lunch time. We felt much comfortable to enjoy our foods. One thing, I loved the red wine but the portion was not enough for $14. Even my wife said, not much for this price. I got 2 glasses of italian red wine, not enough. The view was great ocean side from the patio. This is a strong point eating here for the view. My wife saw the live pasta cooking show, a chef made the pasta, stretching the pasta dough in the kitchen....great show! Fun! Hopefully AC runs well especially hot summer season, the portions of pastas and wines might be more generous for the future.

I'm hoping this was an off night for them because man, what a let down. This was my friend and my first time here and it was all over pretty rocky. To start, zero ac inside, we asked to move outside and they very quickly accommodated us which was great. We came for the LB week 3 course after seeing the menu online. I was looking forward to the Tuna entree but they had changed the fish, that's ok changes happen but my second choice was the steak... this was unfortunate because online it just listed it as an individual entree upcharge where at the location it was actually required to share and a double upcharge. So I ordered what was never a preference and got the replacement fish. On top of that there were some misleading wording about the pastas but that's ok, wasn't even the worst part. We ordered, along with some oysters and were excited to get started. Things started great with the table apps and wine but it was about 15 minutes after we finished those we thought we should check on those oysters, glad I did because they clearly weren't going to come out. Besides a few missing condiments to go with the oysters, the food was great up to this point. But, it was now over 40 minutes since our apps and the 2nd course (pasta) was no where to be found, better ask again. Another flag down. Both pastas came out about 5 minutes later having clearly just been cooked and both were underwhelming. There was mention of Italian sausage as a listed ingredient but as a Sicilian I can tell you, please don't bother listing this ingredient, it was microscopic at best. Another suprise came when the check hit the table and we had to inform the server we hadn't even received our entrees. It made sense though because even though we ordered around 720, it was now almost 9pm and they were closing. By the time the entrees came out (3 minutes before 9) the pace had been so slow we were just so annoyed we wanted to go home. We actually had to cancel the plans we had after dinner because it was getting too late. Honestly, the worst part was that there was no way they didn't know how long service was taking and there wasn't a single person that even said, "we're so sorry about the wait". We honestly understand things happen, but to completely pretend it's normal and not acknowledge that we had to keep asking about our food.... I mean, that just makes us feel like we chose the wrong spot because we clearly weren't that important.

I give it 1 star for the nice owners and family. I give it 1 star for sitting outside on a nice day and enjoying the outside vibe. I give it 1 star for average food. The menu however, has major issues. The bread they use for the garlic bread, the pesto bread, and the pastrami sandwich doesn't hold up. The white part of the bread gets mushy and has a bad texture. That's the case for all hot sandwiches and garlic breads. I recently ordered the chicken parm, and the chicken was cut into small pieces and was burnt. I like my meat cut up in rice dishes such as paella and jambalaya, but cut up chicken parm seems low class and it wasn't great. I also recently ordered the Italian sub. It's a shame you have to pay extra for cheese. IMO, an Italian sub should have both Provolone and Mozzarella cheese. Their sandwich comes with no cheese and is an extra charge. Bummer. Also, they have a variety of Italian-style sandwiches, but none of them have the classic salami, mortadella, and capicola combination which is the authentic combination from my experience. To top it off, the Italian Sub doesn't have red onion or black olives. Meh. There are more menu issues. In the end, there's nothing I find above average. I don't discourage you from going if you're in the mood for a nice Italian meal on the sidewalk outside in nice weather, but there is literally nothing I've found on their large menu that is above average. The menu is flawed in too many ways. At least the family owners seem to be very nice and that goes a long way in deciding who to give my hard earned money to.

Although I get annoyed at ordering at the front, I will say they try and speed the process up as much as possible. The potatoes are cooked perfectly, along with the eggs, and steak (I believe they are cooking sous vide so they turns out perfectly every time) They have outside patio section that is shaded, along with little fans to help in case flies get in the way. I stopped in for a coffee and a side of bacon, and my total was almost $20. For such a simple order, that's hard to justify. I understand food costs have increased, but the pricing feels excessive compared to other local restaurants that serve quality food at much more reasonable prices. My biggest concern, however, is the impact the business has had on our neighborhood. Since Zuzu's Petals opened, we've noticed a significant increase in litter, much of it appearing to be food and drink packaging from the restaurant. Weekend traffic on the sidewalks has become overwhelming, customers often park in alleyways or in unsafe locations, and it has made our neighborhood much more difficult to navigate. We brought these concerns to an employee, but were told there wasn't much they could do. If this business truly wants to be part of the community, I hope they take more responsibility for the impact they're having on the surrounding neighborhood. Encouraging customers to park responsibly, helping keep the area clean, and offering more reasonably priced menu options would go a long way toward building goodwill with the people who actually live here. I always want local businesses to succeed, but right now I can't recommend Zuzu's Petals based on both my experience and the ongoing issues it's created for nearby residents. Also beach cleaning isn't cleaning our neighborhood. That's no support to our neighborhood. Maybe have a neighborhood clean up day instead.

My second visit here, and once again the food absolutely delivered…read more After a long week of work, I decided to take myself out on a solo dinner as a little reward. I came in around 8:30 p.m., knowing they close at 10, and asked if I could sit in a quiet table in the back. The hostess immediately recognized me from my last visit (she even remembered my infamous extra-garlic pizza ), which honestly made me feel welcomed. It's those little things that leave a lasting impression. This time I ordered the chicken Parmesan with fettuccine, along with the dinner salad and garlic bread. Everything was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the marinara sauce was rich and flavorful, the mozzarella was delicious, and the pasta was cooked just the way I like it. The salad was fresh, the garlic bread was great, and the portions are incredibly generous. Honestly, one entrée could easily feed two people, so I happily took leftovers home. My server appeared to be fairly new or possibly still in training. She was polite, kind, and genuinely wanted to do a good job. Near the end of my meal, around 9:30, she asked if I would mind moving to another table so they could begin cleaning the back section before closing. I'll admit, I was a little caught off guard and even asked if I was being rushed. She immediately reassured me that wasn't her intention and apologized, explaining they were just trying to get a head start on closing duties. While I would have preferred to finish my meal where I was seated without feeling like I needed to hurry, I also understand everyone has long days, especially in the restaurant industry. I chose to finish up, packed my leftovers, and there were no hard feelings. What really stood out was how she finished the experience. She checked to make sure I enjoyed everything, asked how the meal was, recommended another entrée for my next visit, and even suggested the tiramisu--which was an easy 10/10. I'm glad I listened. Overall, the food was phenomenal, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff genuinely cares about their guests. My only suggestion would be to avoid asking guests to move tables while they're still enjoying their meal, even if closing time is approaching. It can unintentionally make someone feel rushed. That said, this place is a hidden gem on the north side. Great portions, excellent Italian food, friendly people, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. I'll definitely be back--just a little earlier next time so everyone can enjoy the evening without feeling pressed for time. Compliments to the chef and the entire kitchen. Highly recommended.

We came in on a Saturday and was unable to find street parking so as others advised, I had my friend watch the car and drive around as I made my way to the shop. The shop was so cute, it's small but with everything you'd need for a cheese and meat party including breads, canned additions/fish, and wines! I grabbed a fresh loaf of baguette to add to the order. Both trays were ready and absolutely fresh. The honorable cheesemongers overlooking shop were very nice and helpful! One female worker was providing samples for a gentleman when he asked for recommendations and my cheesemonger asked what kind of cheese texture I generally liked and offered to give me a cheese from three different animals, which I thought was absolutely awesome! She even offered to help me carry my trays out. The veggie tray was awesome, a great size, half pickled half not pickled, the dips were both amazing! We got the green goddess and Calabrian chili aioli and both were such a hit at our get together. The peppers are slightly spicy and were so delicious. We loved the variety of cheese and did not have a single cheese we didn't like. The petite toasts with the meat and cheese board is a must! So good and crispy and a perfect size for a bite. The trays were really sturdy and we appreciated the care put into the layout. We'll definitely be back Oh La Vache!
