So I've eaten here twice now (gotta go more than once to make a solid review) and I'm just not diggin' it. The staff is great, everything is clean so my only gripe is the food but that's a biggy since we go out...for the food. My first go around I had the Gyro, and it was good but not great. With chips and a bottle of water it was $10. I'm sorry but that's just too much for a lunch that isn't served to you. Hell the water was $2 bucks and it wasn't any bladder buster. My second time I had the falafel. Now I learned, no drinks. So I took it to-go back to the office. When I opened the wrapper 5 minutes later it was a wet, soggy mess. They filled it with this orangy sauce that was literally the consistency of water. So that sucked a good bit of the life out of it, and then I bit into it. The falafel had this weird pungent tang to it that I just couldn't get over. I thought it might be the sauce but I tried the tomato alone and it wasn't. This was def. in the falafel. I appreciate establishments that offer a variety of fresh and healthy eating options. I always order and enjoy the Camille salad. It's fresh and filling and I don't feel guilty. It comes with pita bread, but I always request wheat pita instead. I typically call my order in and it's always ready when I arrive which is in 10-15 minutes. I've had better. The falafel wrap tasted like fried oil. The pita itself was decent, the hummus tasted very bland and was almost an orange color?? The place overall feels a little dirty. The lunch specials are super affordable but what they call a "platter" should be called a kids meal. I would go back if in a major pinch but overall it was just ok at best. Good lunch specials on Thursday chicken breast pita with salad or pretzels and drink for under $7. Tuna on Fridays. Not a lot of food, but usually good and is affordable. Outside seating in summer but smokers can ruin that. Parking tough around noon. At times they could clean tables quicker after lunch crowd leaves. Overall good lunch spot. read more

We have always enjoyed this food ever since they came to Friendly Center but today it was awful. They changed their fries from dinner fries to crinkle cut and they were tasteless. Compared to Jack's Deli in Greensboro and even the chain Zoe's, this Pita Delight fell way short of definitive Mediterranean food. The "falafel platter' was actually burnt falafel crumbled over - are you ready? - iceberg lettuce. Most likely canned mushrooms, feta cheese, and an overwhelming dressing were piled on top. Served with the best thing of the meal: warm pita bread. With a dollar tip, was over 12$. Since Time was short after this, made an online Starbucks order and for 9$ got a large decaf Americano and a cheese/fruit box w fresh grapes, apples, Brie, cheddar, and crackers. What? Why was take out boxed food from a chain cheaper, fresher, and just better? Pita Delight, no thanks. Won't be spending my lunch hour on your Mediterranean-ish gunk. read more

We tried to get delivery but we were told they had no one there to drive. So we decided to drive there as the pictures on the menu look wonderful. Don't be fooled by the pictures though. I ordered a gyro platter. I got lettuce and a slice of tomato for a salad. It didn't have enough feta cheese or dressing to even taste and I am not one that requires lots of salad dressing to begin with. The meat had no flavor and the hummus had a strange after taste. The tzatziki sauce was cucumbers and yogurt only, no flavor at all. The only half way flavorful food was the French fries! Sad. I understand why they were not busy. read more

I would normally give Pita Delite 5 stars but yesterday my husband went there to grab lunch for us while I was receiving my treatment. It had been a long day so far and we both were starving and they forgot to give us the salad to go with my sandwich. I was kind of disappointed becauase nowadays my appetite is weird with treatment and I was really looking forward to that salad because they are always delicious and fresh. The place looks clean, but the food doesn't taste authentic. It has a chain feel as well.They gave only three pre-sliced pieces of lamb for their $7 gyro sandwich. Presliced..they do not have the lamb meat rotating on a carver. The pita was just ok..too much cucumber sauce and feta not even close enough meat. Plus a 3 dollar up charge for soup instead of a salad? Not worth my travels for lunch. They also are trying really hard to provide good service if you eat inside with a floater employee removing trays but honestly the person is getting into peoples comfort zones...not good. read more

Picked up a lunch order recently. They left something out of my order that I had paid for. It happens, so I went back inside and got it, no big deal. The girl working was not the friendliest and had absolutely no apology for the inconvenience. Whatever, mediocre service is somewhat expected, as well. However, when I called them after I returned to my office because they charged me for a drink that I did not get, I was told it was busy time and someone would call me back. Average food, but the worst part is that there delivery service is horrible. They are NEVER on time. We take specific lunches at my work and when a group orders, we give a specific time for them to be there (allowing several hours between our order time and delivery) and they are never there at that time. At one point, the delivery driver was 10 minutes early and decided to leave to take another delivery, needless to say she came back 20 minutes later to deliver our food. 20 minutes after we had requested it! read more

I was on this side of town and thought I'd try this place out. I got the Chicken Fajita Pita and a salad. First it took forever to get my food and they were not even busy, they seemed to be short staff with the employees running around doing different things. The sandwich was very sloppy and there was way too much of the fajita sauce on it. The bread started to get soggy and it just fell apart halfway through eating it.
