Hard to find good pizza anymore, this one surpassed all expectations. Pizza had great flavor and was probably the best pizza I had in years! Gonna warn you, the price is kinda high but the quality of the pizza is worth it! I do wish the pizza was bigger as I have a family of 4, two being teenagers. First of all, we were graced with some all-pork meatballs. This stuff is tender, juicy, and covered in sauce and cheese. Come on, tell me that doesn't look delicious! Get this for all the meat lovers in your life. Next up, we've got the main event. A couple of pizzas! The first was your classic pepperoni. I really don't need to explain more on this one. It's got the cupping that the internet loves so much, a crispy crunchy crust, and look at that hybrid leopard spotting. Mike described this to us as a mix between a New York pizza and a Neapolitan pizza. Classic thinner crust, with a lovely open crumb towards the edge. And did we mention? It's friggin' sourdough, you guys. This rivals some of the best crusts I've ever had. The acidity, the texture, the robustness, the everything! Of course I can't go on without mentioning the 2nd pizza we got! It's called the BTSC, and it comes with a bechamel sauce, sausage, purple sweet potato, pickled peppers, and green onions. The BALANCE was crazy. When you have a white sauce, it's hard to balance acidity, but the pickled peppers come through! Absolutely bonkers. This is for the people who like the weird stuff! Whatever you do, don't skip the ranch. It's fresh, herby, creamy, and most of all, ZINGY~. I have not had ranch like this EVER, and I'm not even a ranch guy! When I was a kid, I loved pizza so much that I dreamed of opening my own pizzeria. I like to think it would've been just like this one. The Food: I had two slices of pepperoni pizza, and they were fantastic. Every ingredient really stood out - from the sourdough crust to the sauce, cheese, and those perfectly cupped pepperonis (which I'm a sucker for). It's a great mix of high-quality ingredients. It's like a Megazord of cheesy goodness. As a pizza aficionado, I wholeheartedly approve. The Ambiance: This is a cozy spot with plenty of natural light from a big window. From a design perspective, I love their branding. It has that classic '80s pizza parlor vibe, but the restaurant itself feels very modern. It's a great balance, and I really enjoy the atmosphere. The Service: Believe it or not, the customer service here might just be better than the pizza. We were greeted by what I'm pretty sure is the owner, who was incredibly friendly. Came in today after the game...... first timer here... I heard of this place on instagram. I was so stocked to find out it has close to me yay... As we came in I wasn't helped right away since there was a customer talking and talking to the staff....but it was all positive vibes. Glad to hear in my end.... Well today we ordered a pepperoni and a margarita (I know i spelled that wrong) and a side salad. Wow salad was very fresh and homemade dressing yummy. Lastly I think my pizza was good and my son agreed but the hubby thought it was just ok. Inside it very clean but very tiny.... Next time I want to try La taco this time around they were out.... This isn't a standard pizza shop, so don't expect that. This pizza is the best I've had in Long Beach by far. All of the speciality pizzas are fantastic and a real treat any time we take one home. I've had this place bookmarked because of the reviews. We ordered 2 pizzas. One all pepperoni, and one half pineapple have veggie with pepperoni and sausage. It took a very long time with hungry kids waiting. Finally came and the pineapple half was only cheese. We said that and without a word the guy quickly took it away. We, at that point were so hungry, we probably would have kept it if he'd just given us a side of pineapple. So 2 of my kids got to eat while the other that doesn't like meat on her pizza and her dad and I sat waiting. For like another 25 minutes. I went up finally to ask if we were ever getting our other pizza and they said it was being cut. I'm really kinda blown away that nothing was offered in way of an apology. So we finally get our pizza and it kinda falls apart because it's super wet and soggy. The flavor was not good. Ours was so soggy, I just can't get passed that. We all agreed we've had much better pizza at a much lower price. We spent over $80 on two not great pizzas and unfortunately left a good tip before this whole experience. Removed the yelp bookmark. I'm confused, the pictures of the Spicy Vodka sausage pizza has cilantro n a creamy drizzle.The description says basil. Also, it was not spicy at all. NONE of their pizza has cilantro on it. I bought this one and the TJ Panther. My husband n I were not fans, Not a lot of flavor. The sauce was lacking in seasoning, the sourdough crust? Didn't taste like any sourdough I ever tasted. Looked up top pizza spots in Long Beach and Pizza Parlor showed up. It shares a lot with a couple businesses including Steady Brewing. Pizza is a thin style crust on a sour dough base. Good stuff but the sour dough was very subtle. Pepperonis were on the salty side. Cheese was plentiful and tomato sauce was good. If you're good with some pizza grease on your plate, this one's for you. I bought a couple slices. Had one at the brewery and warmed the other slice on a pan at the pad. Hit the spot! That extra crisp moved it up a notch. Would return if I was in the neighborhood. Final score = 4.5 Side note: 2 pepperoni slices with tax will cost you about 11 bucks. read more

We had a delicious experience at Pizza Parlor today. The restaurant is nicely decorated and comfortable. The service was friendly and helpful, we were offered water immediately, as well as a suggestion for a beer. The pizza was the real star. We ordered a cheese pizza, my first choice at a new pizza place. The crust is sourdough, a requirement for my husband's dietary needs. It was flavorful and crusty. Pizza dough tasted amazing 10/10 Sauce was average 7/10 Pepperoni good 8/10 Cheese I tasted a bit low quality (least favorite part of the pizza 4/10) I would try this place again and probably order something with fresh mozzarella cheese. Pizza Parlor is a local restaurant not far from the Long Beach airport. It's located in a small strip mall and offers dine in and take out service. Let me start by saying the pizza was delicious! It was so good I went two days on a row. On day one I kept it simple and ordered the Double Trouble, which is sourdough crust (all of their crust is) and pepperoni and sausage toppings. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. I ordered online and my pizza was ready exactly when they said it would be. The young lady who helped me was extremely nice and her service was great. So the reason I went back on the next day was because on day one I had to eat on the fly so I wasn't able to enjoy it like I anticipated. On day two, we dined in and met one of the owners. Great guy and he even allowed us to try their moist and flavorful meatballs. Our pizza was the Chef Mike with sausage. Incredible! This place will be my go to from now on. Gotta try it. read more

I kept seeing Pizza Parlor pop up on my Yelp so I thought it was time to finally try it. The pizza pies were delicious. The shop itself was a bit small but it's okay because we had a pickup order. Their online system makes it easy to place an order online, which I appreciate. The pizzas were expensive in my opinion though I do understand everything is going up in price nowadays . Since going to NY back in 07 I've been on a never ending search for something that just comes close lol. Pizza parlor as of now is in my top 3! That sourdough crust is really something special. Crisp dough, fresh toppings..my fave is the authentica papa; sausage, potato, rosemary, but then you add that hot honey! A lil savory, salty, creamy, spicy..that pizza to me, just hits all the notes. Small shop in long Beach, staff is super nice! I guess if it's your thing, you should check out their pizza oven! This place was hopping tonight, with good reason. I ordered online to pick up. Staff were super friendly and welcoming to everyone who came in. I decided to try the Bacon Jamming (minus the pickled red onion). Honestly, the flavors were perfection. They had a good red sauce, tasty bombs of onion jam, and good sized chunks of bacon that all blended together seamlessly. If you like a thin thin crust, you'll enjoy this one. Despite being thin it wasn't too crispy, and had a good flavor as well. It's a small place but there's indoor seating if you want to eat in instead of grabbing your pie to go. We came across the Pizza Parlor on instagram and decided to stop by for dinner. When I tell you they exceeded expectations, this pizza is bomb. I had the Bacon Jamming which was packed with flavor from the foundational homemade sauce to the caramelized onions on top. My friend had a half cheese half Double Trouble (they are more than accommodating to your order specifications) and truly enjoyed it. We had the opportunity to meet one of the co-owners and had some great conversation with him while we enjoyed our pizzas. The interior of the shop is a standard pizza parlor, complete with dining tables both in and outside and a window bar with stools. Everything here is homemade, the ranch dressing is full of fresh dill, it was so good I almost got too full for pizza! The pepperoni are the little cup variety, moderately spicy with that nice zing.
