We came in around 4:30 pm on a Thursday. It was quiet and easy to get a table. We ordered two pizzas and some drinks. The wood fire was fantastic! One of the best pizzas I've had in Seattle. My girlfriend and I went and got the Parma Salad as an appetizer - fresh ingredients really makes a great salad and this place has it. The 'Neapolitan' style pizza was perfectly done, also with said fresh ingredients. The crust was airy and crisp and the sauce and cheese were super flavorful, along with the other ingredients on top, which were a perfect accompaniment. Shout out to Julia, our server. read more

I am very happy with my first experience here! It is a beautiful 75 degree day, and I was able to grab the front patio table. Ordered the antipasto misto and was not disappointed. I like that their wine list includes an interesting set of Romanian wines, and I will be back to try more of them! The pizza menu seems a bit pricy, but the pizzas look a bit bigger than other local semi-personal pizzas. They have the traditional Neopolitan thin crust, and at least the plain version that came with my antipasto was perfectly cooked. Ambience is excellent. Service is perhaps a bit slow, but still good. It is both Seattle and Italy-style service in that they wont bother you too much so you might have to flag them down to ask for another item or the check. Super great place to chill with a glass of wine and a journal. I hope to see this place filling up more often. read more

Got to check this place out opening day and I can confidently say that we will be back. The atmosphere was great, the staff are friendly, and above all else- the food is delicious! We each had a glass of their neagra wine (yum), and split their creamy pesto and shrimp pomodoro pastas, and their La Rocca pizza. The creamy pesto pasta is a must-have! It pains me to leave a bad review of this place because the staff was lovely and the owners have a nice story. However I feel obligated to let anyone looking for actual pizza know that they will be sorely disappointed -- the "crust" was an underbaked, floury flatbread that seemed like it might have been parbaked ahead of time. The Margherita was fine in the way that it would probably be fine if you put some tomato sauce and a lot of mozzarella on a flour tortilla, but the Bianca, which was a naked crust with some arugula, prosciutto, and parm scattered on top, was dire. The Caesar salad had croutons that literally came straight out of a bag, with a similarly premade-tasting dressing. This was all made more egregious by the fact that the prices were equivalent to or more expensive than actual good pizza like Delancey or Dantini. 2 stars because my son liked the Margherita, but his pizza benchmark is Mod. Updating my review, its been too long! Also, they now are serving breakfast brunch Friday thru Sundays. We have been enjoying such fantastic food every time , their food is made with love. We definitely have favorites but to be honest, every dish we have tried has been tasty. Our favorite pasta is the Pasta Gambero Grande, its a bowl of comfort! we never miss out on their Caesar salad, it truly is like no other, I actually crave it and Our sinful dessert we enjoy is the Dolci Chocolate Mousse. Today we enjoyed breakfast as they just started serving this weekend! We had the scramble organic eggs with Salsicia, and fontina cheese, bacon, potatoes and the waffles with blueberries. I loved having an arugala salad as part of the plate and we each had a mocha. We can't wait to try and different breakfast each time as they have omelets and benedicts and more. The staff here is warm and inviting, attentive and you can tell they really care. Bravo to Pizzeria La Rocca, we feel so fortunate to have them as part of the neighborhood! read more

We have enjoyed eating at La Rocca. we have had their Breakfast and Dinner. They aren't very crowded for breakfast since they just recently started serving breakfast not too long ago. The Eggs Benedict are delicious and its served on a croissant. The Scrambles are delicious also. Dinners are also excellent. have had several different dinners and none disappointed.
