This place is very good!! The fish is fresh, the sauces have good flavor, the rice is nice and fluffy and cooked well. They offer a good amount of toppings to choose from and even though the avocado is a little bit extra, it's worth it!! Generous portion size for the price and quality. The only thing they are missing is an option for spicy tuna. I personally don't order spicy tuna anyway, so for those who prefer a little heat to their poke, I suggest getting the spicy chili sauce. What I also like about this place is if you're not in the mood for a poke bowl, there are plenty of other sushi options for you to choose from. I went in for an early lunch with my boyfriend and we ordered a pokerrito and poke bowl. I recommend the House Dressing! Service is quick! They actually have you fill out a check-list form before ordering which definitely helps prevent long lines. There are tons of seating, so it's perfect for large parties. Decent little Poke place. Its priced decently and it tastes freshish. My issue and it's a big one is that the owners/workers are so bland and not very friendly. I have tried talking to them and starting a conversation and being nice but holy hell they are not friendly whatsoever. It's getting harder to come here because they are so cold and not friendly. It's one of those things that the atmosphere kinda dictates the experience. It is what it is. Might have to drive a little further to get my poke fix. The salmon was very fresh and had a great buttery texture, I had to get two scoops. The tuna and yellowtail were a little bit odd texture wise, different than what I am used to, but still good. KilOWas in the area lunch time this week and was craving poke, so glad that I stumbled onto this place. My rating is more of 3.5 stars. Was attended to by a very polite and friendly woman. I was expecting a point and choose type of place, but such was not the case. Instead, there is a paper checklist that you fill out with what you choose. For $8.95 and 3 proteins, I thought the price was actually very reasonable. However, if you are used to ordering and seeing how they tip off your bowl, such is not the case here. Personally, I prefer the one where you can see the choices and point, like Subway style. So I fill out my paper, and although there are visuals, unless you are a poke regular, one may not know what they want. The paper also says to choose one sauce... All other places I've been to allow you to choose as many. But lady did say that I can choose more. Took a decent 5 minute wait. Ate in the car because I'm the type who can't wait to have my fish. I agree with others, a bit more bland than other places I've been. I love that the avocado portion was huge, but everything else was just regular. Place is clean. When we walked in the lady told us to fill out a card to order our poke which made it easy. Similar to ordering at a sushi bar. It didn't take long to get our order out which was nice! I think a few improvements could be made to the the location. It felt like the a/c was turned off and it was a pretty warm inside so that's something that kind of turns me off from eating inside the restaurant, especially having fish. One of the worst sushi places I have ever eaten at. I got one California roll and one tiger roll, to-go. I hope I don't get sick. For starters the shrimp tempura inside the tiger roll was COLD. (Tempura is basically a way to fry food; therefore should be served hot/warm). ***If you look at the picture, where the chopstick is pointing, you can visually see how the tempura has gotten soggy and separated from the shrimp. Also note the color of the shrimp has a grey tone, meaning it is NOT fresh*** The shrimp laid on top was literally hard and chewy. Also the avocado used was rotten. I couldn't even finish it. It's not like other poke places where they build it right in front of you. Based on my experience, it's not always busy so the wait isn't long. They do have a TV there that plays local sports games. The service is ok. Nothing overwhelming positive or negative about them. Pros: Other than poke, the restaurant does offer sushi. There is ample seating but again the place isn't always busy so you wouldn't be fighting for tables. Fish is taste fresh and they don't give you too much rice which has always been one of my main issues with other poke places. Cons: The sushi is ok but nothing too worthwhile.
