Id give them four stars if their service was consistent. The food is always pretty solid and I always love eating here but the service at this location is hit or miss. To me there seems to be a clear A team and then there's everyone else. Half of the people that work here don't seem to take their job too seriously and don't pay attention. Half the time they're busy talking amongst themselves making fun of each other. I appreciate it when I get the good crew, everything is expedited, professional and well received. Never really had a problem with Qdoba until now. Placed an online order for the exact same items except one order had guacamole on the side. When we got it home the one bowl Oder looked visibly "lighter" then the other bowl. Called the store and the store offered to remake one bowl. Took the whole order back to demand a refund. Manager argued that they were the same, however they did not weigh about the same. Because it was ordered online they had to call support and back out the order which would take awhile to get my refund, so the Manager had no choice but to remake the entire order while talking amongst themselves in Spanish. read more

It is the same as the everyday Qdoba. The workers here were very friendly. They filled your tacos up so they were full which was nice. The nachos were really good, they gave us a ton of queso which was awesome. The burrito was good too. All in all this was a good experience at this location. read more

So apparently, Chipotle doesn't exist in Reno. I feel very sorry for all the poor citizens of this town that have to go to Qdoba for fast Mexican food. Gotta do what you gotta do to get your rice and beans fix right? At Qdoba, the setup is basically the same as Chipotle. You tell them what kind of dish you want, you go along the line, pick your beans, meats, and condiments. I ordered a burrito with steak, pinto beans, lettuce, and cheese. Overall, it looked just like a Chipotle burrito, but a bit smaller. The rice definitely didn't taste as fresh as it could've, and just wasn't something I was expecting. The whole burrito tasted very "wet," which left a strange feeling in my mouth when I was done with it. The steak was cooked pretty well, but they barely put any of it in the burrito itself. I would give them 2 stars, but there are a couple of good things about the place. Their bathrooms are spectacularly clean and well taken care of . Our organization held an "Eat for Service" here, with which 20% of the money made off of orders purchased with our flyers went back to our organization, and eventually charity. They have a large flat screen good for sports fans, and there is plenty of room for large groups. Overall, I don't think I'd come back if I'm ever in the area again. If I'm dying for a burrito, I'm sure there are better and more authentic places around. read more

Hot damn. I haven't had Qdoba since before the pandemic so my memory may be a little off, however their 3street style tacos are BOMB. The chicken recipe tastes new and better, tastier tortilla and just a well balanced platter of deliciousness. Something is different in the flavor and it may be my memory or it may be a damn good change in recipe. Service was above average for 'fast food' and the ma'am working the counter was very kind. They're covid precautions are what is expected of a restaurant right now, distant tables, distant lines plenty of online ordering and required face mask with sanitizer at the counter for post payment sanitation while all employees were masked and not grabbing them like I've seen at other restaurants which is nasty but Qdoba is that good good :) read more

I had always gotten the grilled veggie burrito but decided to try the bohemian veg tacos once. The beans were super salty the first time I ordered them but they have been better since so that's my go to now. They often have BOGO so that's an awesome deal; however after finishing my meal, I was appalled to see the lady who made my food walk out of the bathroom without washing her hands! I hope they regulate that better because people who work in the food industry should know better. Tell you what, location matters. This one on Northern McCarran is much better than the one on Virginia St. It's cleaner and the people seem to be friendlier and more helpful. The food might be fast food but it always seems like we are eating healthier when we get the taco salads with no shell and no dressing. The food is always good as long as it's not the bottom of container. Make sure you join their rewards club. If you eat there regularly you get good discounts and eventually free stuff. I came to this store Saturday April 6th at 12:00 PM. I ordered two very poorly made burritos. I have been a QDOBA customer for over 10 years now, and today is the day that the worst burrito was made for me. When it came time to check out I told the clearly STONED kids making my burrito "congratulations you made the WORST Qdoba burrito of all time" and when it came time to pay, I just turned around and went to chipotle who had a very professional staff who took care of me. This is my favorite of the big three made to order burrito places. (Qdoba, Chipotle, Moes) I could sum up this whole restaurant in one word: Queso. Their queso cheese sauce they put on your food is amazing and the big thing that separates itself from the other competitors. If you haven't been to one of these restaurants, it's like going to a Mexican food version of subway. They make your burrito, tacos or quesadillas right in front of you. You get your choice of tortilla, rice, beans, meat, salsa, and extras. I recommend getting their points card because they have solid rewards program. I eat at Qdoba more than anywhere else on the planet. I am a sucker for a good burrito. I know that the prices can seem a little extreme but for some reason, I always find a way to justify spending the money. My opinion of this Qdoba location can vastly differ depending on what time of day I go. The differences between morning and afternoon are so great that I often wonder what could create such a big divide. I almost wish that I could write a review for the morning shift and a different one for the dinner shift. With that being said, I'm going to give it a try. Qdoba Mexican Grill (before 3pm) ***** 5 stars Service on the morning shift is always amazing. The people working are always pleasant to interact with. I am such a regular that they basically have my burrito halfway made before I even get to the counter. The lady that starts off your burrito is the nicest person ever. She genuinely cares about the customers experience. It is shocking that she has not been promoted to manager. The burritos at Qdoba are so good! I love the options that they give you. The great things like queso, green sauce, fajita's, and no extra charge for guacamole really make this place better than it's competitors. Qdoba Mexican Grill (after 3pm) ** 2 stars I have completely stopped going to Qdoba for dinner or even late lunches. The way that you are treated is by far unacceptable. I am sure that the younger group of employees has something to do with it. They carry on personal conversations with one another and do not pay any attention to what you are asking for, resulting in messed up burrito's. When I order here, the employees often give you the feeling that you are not wanted. They act as if by ordering food you are putting them out. I'm sorry that you have to do your job but I need to eat. They skimp on portions and then argue with you when you ask for more. I would never recommend that anybody go here in the afternoon. I have even walked out on more than one occasion in the middle of placing my order. Conclusion: Go here for breakfast or lunch if you want a great burrito. Qdoba proudly sponsors local sports and schools which makes me more inclined to support them. It is great for a quick bite and they have lots of options to make anything you want. My friend and I decided to come here because we had a coupon. I usually don't mind having Qdoba every now and then, but it's been awhile since there's a Chipotle in town now. I ordered a grilled chicken burrito. It look great and even came with the guacamole included. But besides that it was bad. The grilled chicken is usually good and flavorful, but it's hard to enjoy it if the chicken is burnt and you can taste the burnt charcoal. The burnt chicken pretty much made the whole burrito not as good as it ruined the taste when you ate the burnt part. This experience was just a reminder why I will usually go to Chipotle instead. I grew up in Michigan and remember loving this place. I've been in California for over 7 years now. We stopped here on our way out of Reno. Very large burritos but expensive... $12 for a shredded beef burrito is expensive. The food is bland unless you want to dump the flavor sauces on them. Not good Mexican food. The sauces are full of preservatives and all sorts of crap which is really silly. Good Mexican food is whole, fresh ingredients. That's why it's so great. Why use all the fresh ingredients in the burrito and then give customers a bunch of processed crap in a jar in order to add any flavor. Offer a fresh salsa bar, all homemade. Junk food. Nowhere near as good as Chipotle, even though the menu is set up in pretty much the same way. They supposedly pride themselves on their grilled chicken, which is marinated in adobo spices for 24 hours. It wasn't tender nor spicy, but rather dry and tasteless. I ordered a mole chicken burrito ($5.59) thinking I would get chicken that had been simmered in the sauce. All they did was take some of that grilled chicken and drizzle the sauce over the burrito fixins. As a burrito lover, perhaps the thing I was peeved with the most was the fact the burrito wasn't wrapped properly. Hard to enjoy the meal when rice and veggies are spilling down your hands. The corn salsa also left much to be desired. My friend had the chicken 3-cheese nachos ($5.49), which was basically glorified nacho cheese topped with more of that bad chicken. Gets the tortillas and let's out a loud and obnoxious "UGHHHHH I DONT WANNA" to her manager. This place is a good place to get a decent bite to eat in the North West Reno. Although a Chipolte burrito would be a better, this place is the next best alternative. They offer a full menu of Americanized Mexican Style Cuisine. Qdoba is owned by Jack in the Box, so their menu is the same at any location and the food quality is consistent. There is always a consistant line of patrons who eat at this place, which goes to show that they are consistant. The fresh grilled meat and good tasting salsa is also a bonus. The major downsize to this place is a burrito is going to run you about 900-1300 calories and its going to cost about $10.00. read more

Placed an order for pick up and arrived a couple minutes after it was supposed to be done and they were not even aware an order had been placed online. The lady working rudely told me that they didn't get an online order. I had to wait for my food to be made which completely defeats the purpose of an online order to be picked up. There were only two customers in the building that had already been served. The employees seemed solely focused on closing early even though they still had almost an hour until their closing time. We were driving I-80 looking for someplace that offers fresh healthy alternatives. Something that isn't fried or slapped between two pieces of bread! We really wanted Chipotle, but my iPhone couldn't find one, so Qdoba it was. The place was fairly full about 12:15pm on a Sat. Located about .4 mile from the freeway, so convenient that way. We got the last booth. I still like Chipotle better be amuse their menu is so simple and I love the Chipotle Tobasco sauce, but overall not a bad experience. I do like that they have to option to order two smaller versions of their dishes for the price of one large dish, but actually everything pretty much tastes the same since it's all the same food that goes inside. Qdoba is my guilty pleasure. My husband travels a lot so when I don't feel like cooking I love going and getting takeout and it's so close to my house in the Northwest. I normally opt for the burrito bowls, which is just a rice bowl, beans, chicken, salsa, sauces, etc. For fast food it's relatively healthy. I've also gotten their catering before for meetings and it's always been great. I also love that they are so involved in the community and support the Wolfpack and you can get buy one get one free entrées on football and basketball tickets. The reason I like qdoba more than chipotle is for that reason- plus the queso is phenomenal! read more

I was waiting with my wife and grand kids so they could use the woman's restroom as it was occupied. Heard a flush and out came an employee.
