I was excited to try this place out when I heard about it. It was a bit disappointing. I had the lemongrass beef sandwich and shrimp spring rolls. The sandwich was very hard and dry. The beef lacked flavor. The spring rolls had daikon in them which threw off the taste and made them taste sour. The sauce for the spring rolls was so terrible. It was very gooey and didn't have any flavor. I will give the egg rolls a try next time since I think I should give this place another shot. read more

Raymond aka Ray Man ( a nickname from his school days) is personable and very quick to prepare wonderful Banh Mi sandwiches with an array of ingredients--from vegetarian to fish or lemon beef or chicken or pork. Extra ingredients are available for a nominal fee. Also serves a noodle soup with or with meat, I cannot remember the name of it, but it's very tasty! Also drinks, including fresh coconut water, lime juice, and Vietnamese coffee. Please go and try Raymond. He's closed on Sunday, but other days he's there until 7pm. Sooooooo delicious. I had the grilled pork & shrimp pho & I loved having the grilled pieces in the soup. The soup itself was delicious and healing. Loved the tofu vermicelli bowl! Lots of fresh veggies - cucumber, lettuce, carrots, herbs, then some cooked cabbage/shitake/green onions and good portion of fried tofu. The proportions of the ingredients balanced each other out-- not too much or too little of anything. They definitely didn't skimp out of the meat.
