    Ribeye steak with potato salad
    John M.

Renzo's is a great local option if you are looking for an alternative to a chain like Outback or Longhorn that offers steak with a definitive Argentinean influence. The place is not big by any means, but it has a relaxing and welcoming ambiance. The service was friendly, professional and attentive and the food was overall very good. I went with the ribeye and for my side went with the potato salad. The ribeye was $38 and tge side was $6. Both were very good. I would definitely recommend Renzo's and I give it five stars.

Tasty Picante (spicy) & chorizo sausage (like). Ceviche To many large onions. Octopus was chewy. Served alone no chips (dislike).

Service was good. Our waitress was very sweet. Ambiance is trendy. Nice for date night. The grilled food is good such as the sausages and skirt steak with chimichurri but they ran out of empanadas and the ceviche was different from my expectations.

Food was delicious, size were good, our waitress and hostess were amazing. Meat can be more tender. Sangria was delicious

Food was good and reasonably priced in comparison to other steakhouses. One of the tomahawk chunks was fat and inedible which was disappointing but besides that we had no complaints. Service was good and the vibe was chill.

Chicken beef and ham &cheese empanadas were good

They did a major renovation and it looks super chic. It was totally dead when we walked in around 1pm on a Monday. Took a minute to have someone come out and seat us. And then we waited a bit to do our orders... the main reason I wanted to go was for their lunch menu. Much to my surprise that does not exist anymore... so sad because I remember it was such a good deal for lunch and so well worth it to go there... we got the empanadas and Pinacha steak with spinach. The empanadas were yummy. We got the chicken, beef and ham& cheese. I liked the ham & cheese the best. The steak was a weird mix of tender yet super chewy... it was seasoned well but needed something and I got a side of Chimichurri sauce. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. It had a lot of grizzle but it also came with 3 small steaks so the price was decent for $26 for that dish. The spinach was basic and boring... just parboiled and plated.

Renzo's is a very well established stake house. I use to go with my family all of the times but they sadly started something called a large group fee. My family consist of 6 people. It's expensive enough when you are ordering 40 dollar plates. The extra fee just seems like a money grab. Would recommend for date spot but not a family dine in experience. Now the food is super tasty I highly recommend getting the different cuts of steak! Staff is also very kind

My wife and I shared a porterhouse steak and ordered sides for our meal. The porterhouse was only $65 for a 28 ounce steak. The steak was dry aged and they even Sliced it for us to be easier to share. It was perfectly cooked and juicy with outstanding flavor. The service is excellent and very friendly. We will definitely be back here again.

Cant do a 4.5 but we really enjoyed it. Comfortable atmosphere; chill music in the background. We loved the empanadas, that were plenty stuffed. We got the Chilean Sea Bass and the Salmon. Both were very good (7.1). Ended with Tres Leches and the Chaja,,,,,,the Fn bomb! Didn't have room for coffee since we were Sangriad out but this might be a great spot just for coffee and dessert, since the desserts were so good. Overall, we really liked it and will definitely be back. Thanks to Andrea.

WOW... what a treat to come have dinner here. Came here on a Sunday evening. Really wanted an empanada, but they had run out. Bummer. Ordered their Ribeye Steak with a side of House Salad. As an appetizer, I ordered their Gambas (Shrimp) and it was really amazing. The aroma of the shrimp was superb. I forgot to count how many pieces of shrimp the dish had, but it was plenty. When the steak came, I was amazed at how large it was and how good the seasoning it had. I ordered Medium Rare, but it came out with some areas medium. It was okay, since it still tasted great. The quality of the meat was very good. I also had a glass of Malbec to wash down the meat. I had a great time here and too bad I couldn't get the Parrilla since it was too much food for me.

Very nice experience here today. The small plates were tasty! The filet medallions were so good. Everything was seasoned well. The service was good and the restaurant is cute and quaint. They have an extensive wine list. Overall great experience i will return.

The inside is very spacious and whimsically decorated with a few different seating options: regular table and chairs but also couch/loveseats with tables and chairs. For brunch, we ordered deviled eggs, whipped feta, lobster Benedict, sweet potato hash, and the fish amandine. Everything was excellent. The fried oyster on the deviled eggs was inventive and super tasty. The whipped feta has pomegranate seeds sprinkled on top which made for a yummy sweet and savory bite. Hubbys sweet potato hash was flavorful and filling. The lobster bennys had quite a bit of lobster and the old bay hollandaise sauce was perfection. The fresh fish amandine was yellowtail snapper that came out with a beautifully crispy skin, a delicious brown butter almond sauce and sautéed green beans. The area surrounding the restaurant is beautiful and makes for a great place to walk around and explore. Once inside, the atmosphere is just as impressive, and thankfully the food, drinks, and service live up to the hype. My dad and I started with the Gator Tail appetizer. Neither of us had ever tried alligator before, so we were really curious to see what it was like. Turns out, we loved it! It tastes surprisingly similar to chicken and was a fun way to try something new. For our mains, my dad ordered their famous Meatloaf, and after trying a bite, we completely understand why it's one of their signature dishes. It was excellent. I went with Barry's Tomahawk Pork Chop, and it was outstanding. The pork was cooked perfectly; juicy, tender, and not dry whatsoever. The real star, though, was the guava demi-glace, which added such a unique and delicious flavour to the dish. The beer selection was great too. I especially enjoyed the Wedding Beer Berry Lager, which was refreshing and packed with flavour. We also saved room for dessert. We tried the Candied Maple Bacon Ice Cream and the Bourbon Butter Cake. The ice cream wasn't really my favourite; I thought the cornflakes were a bit of a strange addition, but my dad enjoyed it. The Bourbon Butter Cake, on the other hand, was delicious and a great way to finish off the meal. Between the beautiful setting, excellent food, great drinks, and friendly service, it's easy to see why Ulele is such a popular Tampa destination. (though still comically high) Rocca continues to be solid, if not spectacular. Two things I think hold it back; first, value. The prices feel too high relative to the portion/tastiness. A great comparison restaurant to Rocca would be Rezdora in Manhattan. I would put Rezdora a few rungs above Rocca in quality/flavor (it's one of the top 100 restaurants in NYC per the NY Times and has a Michelin star, very different than landing one in Tampa) yet the prices at Rocca are effectively the same (each have a traditional ragu at $28). You also don't have to look as far as Manhattan. Just across the bay is Elliott Aster who I think delivers more delicious food, in heartier portions, at a better price point. Given Rocca is perpetually fully-booked, Tampa is obviously okay with their prices, so I suppose 'don't hate the player' (you can't begrudge anyone from charging what they can in this restaurant environment), but for me the value isn't there. Second - I think the inside could use some work. Looking at Eliott Aster, Predalina, or Ponte you can see an example of more elevated interior design. I think Rocca comes off more kitschy than 'homey'.

The physical building itself is very unique, very old school... lot's of hidden hallways and tucked away rooms. Almost like a dungeon-exploring adventure (not a bad thing). The food was good. My wife enjoyed the foie gras ($34) tremendously. I enjoyed the lobster bisque (+$11 from included French onion soup with steak) moderately. (had a non-traditional "spice" to it) My wife orders the 8oz filet mignon, and I ordered the 14oz Delmonico (a.k.a. ribeye). The filet was very good, and the Delmonico was good. Neither were out-of-this-world (certainly not enough to warrant the exorbitant price). The baked potato (which mine included butter, cheese, and bacon) had a "bite" to it, something that I did not expect (or enjoy). It might be the butter... they say it was a sweet cream butter, but there was a tartness to it all that was off-putting. I also ordered a thrice-baked potato, just to try it out. It was awful! Bern's has often been rated as the #1 steak house in Tampa, but I just don't get it. Perhaps my unrefined palette is lost on all the Frenchy froo froo stuff. I feel like I could make everything they offered better myself... for a FIFTH of the price. Everything is just so expensive there, and at those prices, I need to feel like it is the best thing I've every had in my life. It was far from this. Additionally, the time it took was very long. I get it, this is a multi-course situation, and you're supposed to take your time and not be rushed. But I personally don't generally take 90 minutes from start to finish to each my food.... I'm just not that guy. The atmosphere and intimacy were great for special occasions, but all in all, I don't think we will be going back, ever.

Even the entrance with the red lighting sets the tone and makes the evening feel special from the moment you arrive. The service wonderful! The steak was excellent and cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed the French onion soup, which was rich, flavorful, and one of the better versions I've had. The fried onions were tasty, though a bit greasier than I would have preferred. One of the most unique parts of the experience was the wine cellar and kitchen tour. It adds a fun, behind-the-scenes element that makes Bern's feel more like an event than just dinner. Be sure to save room for dessert, the dessert room upstairs is a destination of its own and a great way to end the evening. The only downside is parking. Street parking is very limited and can be frustrating, so valet is definitely the way to go. Overall, Bern's delivers on atmosphere, food, wine, and experience. If you're looking for a memorable steakhouse night in Tampa, this place lives up to its reputation.

We were seated at a super small table so it made for an uncomfortable situation with so little real estate available. Also the place looks like it's converted from a garage or something with metal walls and roll up doors that made the sound bounce around. The service was nice. We were well taken care of but they seemed to be spread thin because getting refills and getting our check took a bit longer than expected. One ssue was that the menu was very different from what was online via Google. I should have gone to their website I guess, but several items were not available and the filet I was so excited for had a very different set of items. No Brie au gratin potatoes or braised rainbow chard, citrus gremolata and a fig chutney. Now, let me say that my filet was delicious. I loved the sauce and the asparagus was good but for me, the potatoes were super underwhelming. A nice sauce or something would have made them better. They just tasted bland, were really dry and lacked any flavor. My wife expected the lamb or pork chops, they were both not on the menu. She got fish and chips which she really enjoyed, so it was a win. The Asian wings were our appetizer and were delightful too. Now the only real negative for us was the noise. We got there at 5:30 and it was fine. But as more people came in, the sound bounced around so bad that it became almost unbearable for me. I wanted to go so bad because people laughing and talking made my head hurt. Would I go back? Probably not. I didn't enjoy how loud it was. The food was very good though, so perhaps takeout would be more my speed. We had a nice meal and my leftovers were delicious later that evening.

I had two cocktails one came in the cutest Santa mug (instant mood boost), and the Clover d'Hiver was pretty and delicious from the Christmas menu. Service was a little slow with checks and I never got the food I ordered but honestly, the vibes were so cute and cozy I didn't even stay mad. Great spot for a festive night out with friends or a cute holiday date night.

First we could not hear each other from all the silverware clashing and second throughout our dinner 3 times glasses were shattered at the station. The third time we were concerned, a little piece of glass had fallen in our food. The server and the manager were nice but the manager seemed to think that the solution was for the servers to slow down. That doesn't make sense to me but ok. They did remake a plate to go for us, so that was nice. The food was a little meh to me. The short ribs could have used some salt or seasoning before making the ravioli's (same with the chicken parm) just a suggestion. Pasta tasted undercooked and as if it was box pasta. I've lived in nyc and have had some really good Italian food there so I'm a little critical. I think Olivia is a little more hype and a nice ambiance for being in south Tampa than good food.
