Wife and I stopped here for lunch, it was very crowded because of the World Cup fans but we were still seated in a decent amount of time. I have the chopped brisket sandwich and it was really good and very tender, the seaaon fries were also hot and tasty. My wife had the ribs and they were falloff the bone tender with a great seasoning and sauce, the stuffed jalapeño were also very good, not really hot but tasted great.

The sweat tea was the best part-not too excited about the food, the service was good and the place was fun to sit and people watch.

Honestly if you're coming here just do it for the drinks . The food is honestly sloppy fries come out soggy . Pickles came out soggy and the pulled pork sandwich is weird and sloppy just not appealing at all.

We tried out Riscky's at the stockyards as recommended by some friends. We were seated within 5 mins and were promptly greeted by our server. We got our drinks and the food came out pretty quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal and I will say the hit was the smoked catfish! It was flavorful and had a very nice crust! My pulled pork will be ordered again and went great on top my the baked potato! Check them out for some good bbq and a good time!

I didn't expect Riscky's BBQ to be as good as it was. It was in fact a fantastic BBQ experience. I ordered the two meat combo with brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was on point! The pulled pork was a close second! Standard sides included green beans, potato salad, and coleslaw. All three were good I particularly enjoyed their version of potato salad. Let's talk BBQ barbecue sauce. At the recommendation of our server, I tried the sweet sauce and felt it was better than their original. Both are very thin and watery. Our server was attentive and extremely talkative which we enjoyed. The restaurant was packed at noon on a Sunday and our food was out within 10 minutes if I find myself back in Fort Worth. I would eat here again.

This place is located in Stockyard, a very cool western area. 10/10 for location and atmosphere. The inside is western themed and very cozy. I ordered a Patron Margarita, corn nugget appetizer and a brisket sandwich. My partner got a grilled cheese. The patron marg was very large and good! The brisket was fantastic!!! I also had the pleasure of trying my friends rib and if I came back I would 100% get ribs. The corn nuggets were also perfect. My partner also said the grilled cheese was great. Our server was very nice and struck up a conversation and joked with us. Very hospitable and good service. Overall an awesome spot and I would come back.

Food quality lately! These ribs are not smoked, they are burnt, dry & I believe there may be some kind of rub on them!

Poor food quality, used to go once a week, but the food has taken a nose dive! It's just not worth your money!!

Must try brisket. Quick fast service. Flavorful food. We came in after a long hot walk on the Ave. Hungry for some Texas favorites this place is definitely worth the visit. Full bar with a bunch of must have appetizers and entrees. Sliced brisket & baked potato was a good combination cooked perfectly paired with house bbq sauce Hot / ReG. Food and drinks prices were moderate priced and don't hurt the wallet. We were a group of 8. 4 adults 4 kids and the bill was under $150.00

We were in the Stockyards and decided to go to a staple- Riscky's BBQ. We went after the cattle drive for lunch. There were a bunch of people going in at the same time but we were able to get a table right away. We started with the fried pickles which were incredible. Then we split a 3 meat smoker combo. With the combo we got brisket, pulled pork and jalapeño sausage. I loved the brisket and sausage, the pulled pork was missing some flavor. The red beans and potato salad on the side were both delicious, the coleslaw was just okay. We also got a flat iron steak, which was my favorite part, it was delicious. The sides of mac and cheese and fries were again just okay. The service was fast and the place fits in aesthetically with the stockyards.

The food is always delicious. The all-you-can-eat beef ribs is my fav and always the item to brag about whenever I bring in out-of-town friends and family. On the weekend, this place is packed. Be ready to wait. But it is WORTH it! You can put your name down and they will text you when your table is ready and so many shops around to kill time while waiting. And the ambiance is so electric. So much western vibes and you can watch the Longhorn cows drive while eating in their outdoor seatings. Great place to eat and chill!

Wow! Couldn't be more disappointed. In the stockyards? Prime location next to the train...worst BBQ Texas has to offer. Hubs said 'Never been so disappointed.' Waiter Jair was polite. We tried the appetizer sampler. Have you ever had the corn nuggets and fried pickles from chicken express? These tasted exactly like that. :( I did like the jalapeño cheese curds. We tried the three meat combo with ribs, brisket, and sausage. The meat was well cooked, but tasteless. The barbecue sauce on the table has too much apple cider vinegar. Weird. Beans and slaw okay. Restaurant is busy and restrooms pretty clean.

Great bbq food after a long travel day to get to the Stockyards. Seated promptly with no reservation. Server was great, attentive & friendly. As they say, everything is big in Texas! And that includes the portion sizes. The beef ribs & Texas fries, delish. The catfish prepared excellent but my first try of catfish was a no. Country music piped in added to the ambiance. Enjoy!

My late grandmother was a superb country cook and her name was Maggie. Good omen! We got there about 11:45 and got a table right away. Our server was Devin and she was terrific. We split the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. The portion that they brought out was gigantic....plenty for two average appetites. What I really liked about it was - it was not over-breaded and it was fork-tender. (in my humble opinion, too many places are giving you a lot more breading that doesn't have meat under it. Yes, it's a first-world problem.) The mashed potatoes were also quite good, along with the cream gravy. I'm not a huge green bean fan, but my wife really liked them. This place has a cool vibe and we plan to return sometime soon. It's one of the top 3 CFS's we've had in Fort Worth / mid-cities.

We ordered nachos as an appetizer to split, along with two beers and a kids meal. What arrived was Motley Crue waking from a drug binge, raiding the pantry and trash, then declaring "let's do it." What was supposed to be nachos was anything but. The only explanation is someone who had never seen nachos tried to recreate them after hearing a rumor from someone at a Lowe's parking lot. The "chips" were not tortilla chips. They were rectangular strips of pale, flimsy material that looked like scraps of drywall film pulled out of a new construction site. An albino drywall experiment that somehow escaped the kitchen and landed on a plate. The entire thing was covered in barbecue sauce, with some mystery white liquid poured over the top. We assume it was supposed to be queso, but it definitely was not queso. Calling it queso feels disrespectful to actual queso. We ate maybe a quarter of it and decided we needed to leave before things got worse. Six hours later, we received an unannounced encore performance in the bathroom. I would avoid this place like a plague outbreak--unless you have an upcoming colonoscopy and want to skip the bowel prep.

I personally had a bone out ribeye and I opted for the garlic Demi glaze. You have to get the Demi glaze. It's simply amazing. I could probably drink the whole freaking thing. Every person at our table was trying to steal my demiglaze. The meat was simply the most tender juicy thing I've ever had. I don't think they need to give me even a steak knife to cut this. First, major credit to Avery and Nancy, who were incredibly kind and patient considering we arrived fairly close to the end of lunch service before the restaurant closed for its afternoon break. We never felt rushed, which I really appreciated. I started lunch by ordering another cocktail (which may or may not have had me buzzing a little by this point) along with the 12 oz. prime rib steak served with buttery herb mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and chimichurri sauce. I'll admit, the steak was thinner than I expected for Texas (I sort of anticipated a Flintstones-sized slab of beef) but honestly? It was fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked perfectly! The mashed potatoes were rich and even the vegetables were great! My dining companions ordered a bit lighter fare, I believe a salad and grilled cheese, but I was far too focused on my steak situation to pay close attention. I left absolutely stuffed and very, very, very happy about it. The atmosphere here is upscale without feeling pretentious. Between the Western inspired decor and the relaxed energy of the Stockyards area, it feels welcoming. Also worth noting: apparently bachelorette parties featuring men in cow-print overalls are welcome here too, so truly something for everyone. Great service, great food, and a really enjoyable dining experience overall. I'd happily come back the next time I find myself in Fort Worth!

The operational execution is tight, and the staff is fantastic, but the real draw is the menu--simply a carnivorous delight of high-quality steaks and wild game specialties. We kicked off the night with a trio of phenomenal starters: the wild boar ribs tossed in their signature BBQ sauce, the elk sliders layered with sweet blueberry jam, and the rabbit-rattlesnake sausage served over a crispy manchego rosti with crème fraîche. While every bite was great, that sausage was an absolute standout flavor combination. Next up was a bowl of traditional Texas Red. As a major bean lover, I know a purist chili can be a gamble, but I had zero complaints here. The delivery was excellent, deeply flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. For the main event, the roasted garlic stuffed beef tenderloin was executed flawlessly, accompanied by a heavy-hitting lineup of sides: rich truffle-infused mac & cheese, crispy Brussels sprouts tossed in a savory bacon vinaigrette with black garlic, and perfectly sautéed Texas wild mushrooms. We tied the entire evening together with several LALO Ranch Waters, kicked up with a sharp, salted Tajín rim. It was a spectacular meal from start to finish. Mashed potato was pretty standard and truffle Mac and cheese was decent but nothing really stood out. The prime rib sandwich had a lot more fatty and dry edges so wasn't exactly a fan favorite but the French fries were good. The churros were tasty paired with the 3 accompanying sauces; my favorite was the caramel. I just wished they served more churros considering the sauce to churro ratio: the decadent chocolate cake was yummy but oh so rich, only a few bites were needed.

It creeps up to the point where you do find yourself looking for a glass of water or just anything to help settle the heat. That's what I loved the most about this burger. I haven't tried their beef patties to use as a comparison but I still enjoyed the burger very much with the impossible patty.
