Decided to eat here because I kept hearing how good the food was. Was very dissatisfied. I ordered 2 rolls and the shrimp and chicken hibachi. I have never in my life had worse hibachi. If I hadn't been starving I wouldn't have ate it. It tasted looked and felt as though all the meat had been microwaved. I even asked the waitress why none of the meat had burn marks and all looked the same she replied "the cook is just that good" and proceeded to take it as a compliment when it wasn't. The rice is awful and comes in a mound on your plate like they just scooped it on there. Sushi was great but not worth 15$ a roll and for the 16$ I spent on the hibachi I got 8 shrimp and probably 3 ounces chicken bites . I definitely won't come back and I will not recommend. read more

Stopped in today on my lunch break! The service was great and everyone working seemed happy to be back. The food was wonderful and I can see they are following the state's reopening guidelines to a T. I feel totally comfortable dining in with them during this strange time. The food here is fantastic! As someone with celiacs disease, it's great to be able to eat at a sushi restaurant and know that your needs are fully taken care of and understood! Nice clean new place. Waited 45 minutes for food to arrive. Got Volcano Roll, spicy tuna roll, some eel, some salmon. Very little fish, or sauce, or flavor... was mostly rice. The salmon was too thin and tasted like freezer. Aside from the fun decor I wouldn't recommend. read more

Ok so I am so disappointed! I ordered door dash and was so excited to try this place and I ordered the filet and shrimp. I literally got 4 pieces of some type of steak but it's not filet and 4 shrimp and a bucket load of rice for 20.00 . I ordered my steak medium and got well done. We really wanted to like this place. When we arrived tonight there were about 10 tables and 3-4 servers. It took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we were there and then it just got slower. The crab wontons were amazing. We never received the ginger salads that we ordered. The abbey road roll was awesome, the heart roll was good, & the thriller roll was yuck. The overall pace of the service would keep us from going there again. If they are still in business a year from now I will be surprised. read more

Ordered once, and the sushi was good, but hibachi was overcooked. Tried to order just sushi tonight, and their website lists DoorDash and GrubHub as delivery options. Tried DoorDash, and they indicated that the restaurant was closed. So I called, and they clearly weren't, and blamed DoorDash. So I went back to the website and tried grubhub. Again, too late for delivery. So I called AGAIN, and spoke to the manager, and was essentially blown off in that it was on DoorDash and GrubHub's fault. I'm sorry, but if your site directs customers to service providers, you and the service providers should probably be on the same page. All I know is... it isn't MY fault. read more

This is a really great restaurant and a really cool atmosphere. I like how they have rock and roll music videos on the TV screens, as well as cool rock memorabilia on the walls. My brother and I decided to try this place and it was awesome! The food as well as the atmosphere was great. Our server was kind and patient. The music was fun and they had music videos playing that surrounded the seating. I thought that was a neat touch. I saw places that they would have live bands which is awesome. I was super excited to try this place after Some of my friends had recommended it. I absolutely love sushi so my mom and I decided to go. First, they definitely did not social distance seat any of us, but we drove so far to try it that we didn't want to get up and leave. We also didn't expect it to take as long as it did to make our food. I believe we sat down around 600 and probably left around 700 immediately after eating. But based on what everyone had said, we were feeling it would definitely be worth the wait so we weren't going to say anything. (and by then all the tables around us had already eaten and been cleared so it felt like the social distance seating was back on) The sweet waitress that we had looked to be overbooked, but she was really great! I had a California roll and my mother had a shrimp tempura roll. I thought they were pretty good at the time. However, about 15 minutes into the ride home my stomach was immensely upset and needless to say the sushi went right through me :/ Very unfortunate because I was hoping this would be my new favorite sushi place. The ambience is fun, the decor is great, and I loved the music videos playing. In the end, this place doesn't seem to be worth the drive, the wait, or the food. read more

I'm not a big sushi person, so driving far for something I wasn't too big on wasnt my thing. Whenever I heard Canton was getting a new sushi place not even 2 minutes from my house I was very happy. I've been in 3 times and every time I've been blown away by the service, the food (blown away is an understatement for the food), the atmosphere fits my lifestyle perfectly so I always enjoy being someplace with familiar surroundings. I also really like the fact the management allows their workers to be themselves. I saw people with colored hair, piercings, tattoos etc., all the stuff that you see in everyday ROCK N ROLL!! Been seeing this place being built up over the past few weeks, and decided to come by not knowing if they were open yet. I was seated quickly and easily, and servers got to me just as quickly. Bought some edamame, and two rolls: the standard California Roll and their Sunset Strip Roll. The edamame was good, well-salted, and came quick, the rolls were great and crunchy. Service was great and checked on me often while I waited for my food, and I quite enjoyed the offbeat combination of sushi and classic rock themes. I came alone, but this place definitely looks great for a group trip. I might suggest that a cassette-styled drink menu be added to the Vinyl-Record-style main menu. read more

It is a beautiful place and has amazing food but the staff could use a little help. When we arrived we were told there was a 25 minute wait. After sitting around for 15 minutes I realized many table where open. I'm a server myself and I know a dinner rush and this was not one. We waited around for 45 minutes and I walked up to the host to see how much longer it would be, he informed me that he was not sitting anyone until his manager told him to. I also saw the servers complain about be sat. That's your job so please don't complain. Not a single worker had a smile on their face. While sitting at my table I counted how many tables were open. 6. 6 tables were open to sit. I also counted how many servers were here. 5. 5 servers were on. This restaurant is small enough to be worked by three and have all tables sat but five were on and tables were not being sat. My friend ordered a beer and when he got his glass there was lipgloss on the side. Hopefully my next experience will be better but as of right now it was not worth it. read more

Service is worse than the food, food is worse than any actual Japanese food that can be bought. Waited an extra 40 minutes past pickup time after arriving, despite the restaurant being virtually empty. There were two pickup orders before ours- both comparably past-due. Both of the parties left and then had to come back for forgotten food. Staff just tried to avert their eyes from those waiting. From my order, after the excessive wait, all that was missing was a ginger salad. When they finally came back to confirm, an employee just threw a handful of mixed greens in a box. Gee thanks. Hibachi steak and chicken had ~10 bites of meat- 5 steak and 5 chicken. Fried rice was instant rice and you can't convince me otherwise- did not know rice could be ruined so badly. No masks on employees- not even the ones rolling sushi, which was disconcerting. I ate before I wrote this, to ensure that this was not a hanger-driven review. It's not. The food and experience were terrible. I would not eat here again if they paid me to come back. I have $5 for anyone who wants to bet on whether or not they are open this time next year. 0/10.
