I stopped by for lunch. I Ordered Chicken and avocado. I took a bite and realized it needed a little something more. Asked for hot sauce or something to add to the taste. I was told they had no hot sauce,, jalapeño, and there was nothing they could do for me. I looked in the sushi counter and asked about the hot sauce they had there. I was told again, no! I asked for a refund. I was told since I took a bite, no refund. Very rude and unpleasant. Didn't want to help me. Refused service. I wasn't rude, I took my bland dish and left. This place is actually called Rohey's Kimchi & BBQ Grill. I had to be somewhere nearby but had time to grab dinner and decided to try this place. I'm so glad that I did because the tonkotsu ramen was AMAZING!!! I got it with pork and the meat wasn't that white looking stuff. It was actually grilled and cooked to perfection with GREAT flavor!!! It's the go-to spot for ramen by The Riverwalk. The food is always bomb and they serve huge portions! The taste is on point and the noodles are cooked perfectly. I rarely get anything else from the menu but they're all the typical entrees and appetizers you would find at other Asian restaurants. Service is good but the place is small so if you're planning on coming during peak hours, it is best to take your food to go. If you order ahead of time, it should be ready by the time you get to Rohey's (it usually takes about 15 minutes). Highly recommended!!!!! I'm in town for work and Yelped the closest restaurants to my hotel. I lucked out and had this place just outside my hotel doors. . I had the beef stir fry and pork gyozas for dinner. The stir fry was very tasty, served hot and had a little spice to it. The gyozas were good too, but the stir fry was the star of the show tonite. The owner had a sign posted that because of rising costs they had to raise prices by a dollar..... but the price for food is still very reasonable and they give lots of food! Customer service was great from placing the food order via phone to picking up on person. I will definitely be coming back when I visit Riverside once again. read more

I think this place is a 4 star for what it is. Quick serve prepared fresh Asian spot. Decor nice I've been served by the same cashier lady couple times she is not overly talkative, but friendly. Food is good too. They have ramen, noodle, fried rice and believe I saw sushi. Good portions too! Just ordered for pick-up and drive from Corona to get it. When we got home, our order was wrong, we ordered a chicken teriyaki, among other things, and we got chicken yakisoba instead. The chicken and noodles were dry, chewy, and tasted like leftover, reheated chicken. I am disappointed. I only ate the salad and rice with soy sauce and the chicken yakisoba went into the garbage. We've been going to Roheys for over 5 years now, and 5 years ago it was the best ramen I'd ever had! The past 2 years they've gone down hill. Ran out of the spicy chili (industry wide so I know it was out of their control and they did the best they could). We kept going in hopes it would return to normal. Today might have been my last time. We always do take out. When I opened the bag it was a store bought broth cup. I know it wasn't their Tonkotsu, it tasted like salt water. So sad. This place used to be my favorite go-to for lunch. As of November 11th, 2018, it is at the bottom of my list for restraunts in the area. I bought a chicken avocado bowl and was served terrible avocado that was dark brown and bad. I complained to the manager only to be met with a, "Well, what do you want?" And a snarky "explanation" that ALL avocados brown in the heat. Yes they do brown, and I'm sure heat does brown them faster, but my avocado turned from dark brown to black within 10 minutes of my purchase. As a result, I suggest no one eat at Roheys. Came in on the hottest day ever! 122° outside. Thankfully it was cold and slow inside. The cashier could have been more helpful, thus makes it a four star. I ordered an expensive item (do not judge me), the Salmon Bento Box. It came out within 10 minutes. The Salmon was still steaming after I ate my raw sushi. Ginger was fresh. Miso soup was good too. There's a decent amount of food because they give rice next to the stir fried noodles. I also get my usual the mango slush with boba for $2.99. The boba is a bit hard but the drink tastes ok. They can make some food non-spicy. The Deep Fried Chicken Katsu plate got a "pretty good" from the hubby. Atmosphere: 5 stars. Sorry, not my idea of quality Korean food. I ordered the beef Bulgogi, hoping that I was going to get a meat dish instead I got a bunch of cabbage with a little bit of meat sprinkled on top of it. I would've much rather paid a few dollars more and gone to a Korean restaurant that would actually serve you beef when you order Bulgogi. the lady working there was very nice. I gave her a generous tip but if they're gonna serve a dish that's mostly cabbage they need to indicate that it's cabbage and onions with a small amount of beef. Their prices aren't cheap so there's no excuse for that little amount of beef in the dish. read more

At first I was skeptical, my first review mentioned that their ramen was good at best- but that's not what they specialize in. Their teriyaki tofu bowl is phenomenal and their portions are great for the price (around $11). The short ribs are also very good! The veggies that come with each are cooked well and the rice is somehow better than most rice i've had. This is my favorite restaurant in all of riverside, such a hidden gem. I take my teriyaki very seriously, it's my favorite flavor of any type of food. If you're like me, know that there is nowhere in riverside with teriyaki that even comes close. I usually eat outside at the metal tables but the inside of the restaurant is always very clean and homey, and the workers have always been kind and understanding. The broth tastes really good and creamy. Just the way I like my curry. So tonight I came back to taste their Tonkatsu Ramen with beef. I had high expectation, but it was a little disappointing at the end. The beef was a little dry and the broth is somewhat bland. They also put way vegetables to it whereas traditional Japanese ramen only has corn, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, naruto, seaweed, and hard boiled eggs. Nonetheless, I would go back again to try their Yakisoba dishes. The yakisoba my friend got was lit!!! It was super delicious. She got extra spicy. Let me tell you one thing, they really get down on their chiles. It was extremely spicy. I usually ask for extra spicy every time I got to Asian places and end up still mot spicy.
