I'm Korean. I ordered the combo plate and I asked for kimchee. The meat was so dry and the kimchi was the oldest kimchi you could give to anyone. I was not impressed. I can't find a lot of Korean food in Riverside so when I saw this place I was excited! Then I was quickly disappointed. I am not going back for meat or kimchi. I'm very disappointed. They don't respect vegetarians and they don't respect people who have food restrictions. I don't think they respect anyone here. The menu isn't clear and the owners are very rude when asked a simple question. I will briefly state my experiences. First visit: without my consent, the female owner changed my order to a more expensive item. Second visit: I ordered the curry without knowing it was spicy (there was no indication of it being spicy anywhere on the menu(!!!)). The male owner was incredibly rude and stingy about taking back my order. Third experience: I called in this time and the male owner ignored my questions about whether the Udon is spicy and whether the broth is vegetarian, instead he told me my total and told me it would be ready in 5 minutes. (The menu isn't clear(!!!)). My fourth experience is the last time I will ever waste my time in this establishment...I ordered the veggie fried rice and as I ate from it I noticed a piece of chicken. I showed the female owner and she argued with me saying that, in her exact words, "you already started eating it just take it out, it's not a big deal!" I'm vegetarian. I don't eat meat. I have been coming here for years. They have had their ups and downs (mostly ups) but the way I see it is, who gets it right 100 percent of the time? No one. This place has been consistently good which is why my family and I keep coming back. Yesterday we ate here after a couple months of not having it and it reminded me of when we first started eating here. Good portions of food and always made to order. I appreciate what they're doing because I will continue to drive 15-20 minutes for their yummy food. We usually always order their chicken teriyaki bowls, avocado chicken bowel, and chicken yakisoba. When it comes to ramen in the Riverwalk area, Rohey's Wok and Grill has been the go to spot. They are conveniently locked and even at their busiest they still tend to bring your order quickly. My go to is the Miso Ramen, I like that I can spice it as needed. The noodles are more then plentiful and the ingredients are fresh. The broth, which holds most of the flavors is delicious. We tend to share an order of fried rice which fills you up fairly quickly when combined with the Ramen. I find the staff and owners to be polite, the facilities are a bit tight around the lunchtime and a bit more attention could be given to cleaning the tables, but knowing their customer turn over rate, this can at times be challenging. With a new Ramen restaurant opening off La Sierra and Magnolia, I am curious how they will stack to Rohey's Wok and Grill. The good thing is that this restaurant also serves an array of meals and appetizers and are also combine located to local businesses and colleges in the area. read more

I really want to give this more stars than the 1 but I just can't. I ordered the Galbee with shortrib which is always very good. Our waitress Diana made an honest mistake and switched my meal with another guests who ordered a similar dish. When we brought it to their attention, her boss berated her in front of everyone, nearly bringing her to tears. I get that disciplinary action is necessary in some instances but always in private; this was way out of line, demeaning and disrespectful to Diana. When we asked for our correct dish, the owner said no because we already started eating from our food. What a joke she is. Diana if you're reading this, look for another job. No one deserves to be treated the way you were and should never have to stand for it. Bullying is bullying regardless of how big the guy is or small the little loser lady may be. here's an honest review. this is my first time coming here and at the time i was craving ramen and decided to try this place out. best decision i've ever made. i ordered the kimchi ramen with the pork and it was very good. not a lot of ramen places that i've tried have made an impression on me but this hit one hit me. i also ordered the thai tea with boba and it was pretty decent. the boba was good as well as the drink itself. the service was good only had to wait around 5 minutes for the food to come and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice. i will definitely be coming here again and again in the future to try more of the dishes they have. my honest review my honest thought. thank you rohey's wok and grill for the amazing time and especially amazing food read more

I was finally able to try this place after seeing it a while back when I moved to the area. The area is really nice with tons of parking. Inside is cozy and really welcoming. The staff is so friendly and answered all my questions I had about the menu since it was my first time eating here. They ended up not having what I wanted, which is fine. When something runs out early I take that as it's made fresh and they ran out. I ended up getting the combination yakisoba and it did not disappoint! The servings are HUGE. I actually got three meals out of it. The noodles were so delicious and the sauce they use is amazing. Some places with yakisoba have overly sweet sauces but this place does not! I can't wait to try other items on the menu now that this is going to be one of my regular lunch spots! read more

Our office has been ordering from Roheys all year long pretty religiously. As of December 5, 2018, we will no longer be going to this establishment. One of our employees has a dietary restriction and ordered a Veggie Fresh soup. Upon returning to our office, we found out that it was actually Tonkutsu which is a bone broth soup. We called and were placed on hold (the woman just put the phone down for 15 minutes on the counter while we were trying to explain what happened to her) and there was just a bunch of background noise. We hung after 15 minutes and tried to call back numerous times and were forwarded to voicemail. We were finally, after numerous attempts, able to get a hold of them again. The man that answered did not hardly speak English at all and was arguing with us that our order was correct and that the broth just looks like the bone broth. It tasted like bone broth. He would not let us bring it to him to exchange for what we ordered and hung up on me in the middle of our conversation. At the end of the day, the food is okay and not great but their customer service is non existent. I don't recommend anyone ever coming here. Excellent, Delicious and Beautiful Looking Food! My wife and I are fortunate to have a good friend that lives across the street from Rohey's Wok & Grill. He highly recommended that we try it. We live only a few miles from Rohey's and am surprised that we have never been here! The restaurant is small and clean. The customer service we experienced was great! I read many reviews which mentioned the opposite. I was expecting great food but bad customer service. I was pleasantly surprised to find the lady working the front to be very happy and sweet. I am BIG on customer service. It was only two of us and we ordered: Spicy Garlic Edimame Avocado Chicken Bowl Beef Yakisoba Plate Curry Ramen (BBQ Chicken & Shrimp) Everything looked SO good on the menu and on Yelp pics/reviews that we just ordered a bunch of stuff so we could also take as leftovers to lunch the next day. We really enjoyed the edimame with the flavorful garlic and chili seasoning. There was also a delicious shaved cheese on it which was a pleasant surprise! The Avocado Chicken bowl was my favorite. More than your money's worth of fresh avocado and delicious chicken over plenty of rice. It was great with a little hot chili sauce. The Yakisoba was delicious with beef. It was accompanied by a small shredded salad with a thousand island-ish dressing and big serving of rice. The Yakisoba was a tiny bit sweeter than I wanted it to be but very satisfying. My wife loved the curry ramen. Delicious flavor! The chicken and shrimp were scrumptious. It had some vegetables in it also. We were so impressed with Rohey's. When you see gal-bee instead of galbi, yakidori instead of yakitori, you should probably prepare yourself for some Americanized Japanese / Korean food. I had to admit i was a little naive thinking i could find some authentic food from here (*slap myself). Needless to say, the yakisoba was completely different than what i had anticipated and i would simply describe it as Panda Express Chow Mein getting high on sugar. They must've accidentally added sugar instead of pepper, be prepared for sugar rush after the meal. The galbi was sweet as well, but not as unbearable as the fried noodles, because the combo came with the rice! Overall, i couldn't finish any of it due to my lack of tolerance for sweet and the portions were pretty generous. In contrast, their service was superb. They greeted every customer with smiles and were very friendly and helpful. The order I received did not have beef and none of the extra sauces I requested were included. Willing to give them another chance in the near future. I've been here twice for lunch now and loved both times. The food is affordable for anyone. I've tried the shrimp tempura udon and the sashimi bibimbap and both were delicious.
