    Galbi combo

Galbi beef is not tender at all. Its rubber. Hard to chew. Need to tenderise , pressure cooker or something. Waste of money. Ended up throwing it away.

I come here often but realized there wasn't any new photos of their menu so thought I make sure to include that for anyone needing that information as I know the website might not be accurate always. Great food as always!

    Upon entry

The storefront is located to the left of wingstop and the next to the vision center. Was offered a sample of baked potato with sour cream upon entry. The interior space is clean. However seating is limited. Noticed most orders seemed to be to-go. The food is Korean and Korean fusion. I ordered the chicken katsu curry. Wait time was roughly around 10 minutes which is not bad. The curry was decent. Felt like a balanced meal. The chicken katsu didn't really have flavor it's mostly the sauces that have flavor. Pricing is about $13-21 for a meal just something to keep in mind. I've had the bulgogi and it's really good. Might try the sushi next time or the yakisoba.

Service/wait: - came around 12pm on a Tuesday, no wait - service was okay. There are a lot of items on the menu that were out of stock but not updated - nice people, just confusing ordering system. The menu prices are also not up to date as well Tuna Sashimi: - good but not the best. Expensive for the amount received in my opinion Salmon Bibimbap Bowl: - came with raw fish btw, not cooked salmon, for anyone looking to order! - this was good to me, tasted like a poke bowl. Fresh salmom but not the freshest but all the toppings in it were delicious

Food is well prepared. Very reasonably priced. I was surprised by the portion size, I got the Chicken Fried Rice, I was eating on it for a few minutes and it didn't even look like I had put a dent in it, much more than what it looked like at first glance. Got my food to go, so cannot speak for the atmosphere of the restaurant, while waiting there was modern pop music playing at a reasonable volume. Gentleman that took my order and lady that brought the food out were both very kind, patient. I also got a Thai Tea Boba drink - just know that it comes with A LOT of Boba; could not taste the Thai tea, wasn't sure if it was because the flavor here is so subtle or it was being over powered by all the boba. This was disappointing but wouldn't stop me from visiting again. Very pleased with my experience

The staff and food are great seriously. The portion sizes are generous and decently priced. Always grab some kimchi to go.

You could also sit at the sushi bar, if you prefer. And there are a variety of tvs. When we went, it was featuring the world cup; no audio and some tvs had captions. Music was playing at a good level. Menu features lots of options. Some of us were craving sushi and the other half had bowls (beef bulgogi, spicy pork bowl, orange chicken). Our meals were served around the same time and waiters regularly checked on our refills and if we needed anything. At one point, music turned loud and lights flashed, to celebrate someone's bday so something to be aware of that they do. Overall, our dining experience was satisfying. I was a big fan of the salmon carpaccio and the super sexy bowl. The fish tasted fresh and portions are large so you get your moneys worth. My companion did mention that their bulgogi had more onion than meat which was visibly notable. Definitely aim to visit again and will recommend this spot to others.

Miso Soup was clear, with onions and beef broth but no mushrooms. Our grill master made a bountiful batch of egg-added Fried Rice. Of more importance, he cooked melt-in-your-mouth medium rare Filet Mignon. Noodles and grilled vegetables were in plentiful supply. And while the grill master only tossed small chunks of corn on the cob instead of shrimp toward diners' mouths, some grilled shrimps were loaded onto plates by the grill master's spatula. And food portions were generous. The meal generally went smoothly, but our waitress was not very attentive. I had to ask four times for knives before receiving them. Our grill master had good knife skills and put on a pretty good understated cooking show, including fashioning and lighting an Onion Volcano that ultimately looked like a fire-breathing dragon. This was a very good dining experience overall.

After eleven years of living in the IE, it was finally time to try it. Our family entered the restaurant not knowing what to expect. Inside the restaurant was a nice bar area with only two sushi chefs working. We were quickly seated and offered menus and drinks. The waiter explained that the AYCE option had no time limit with only three rounds. If there was anything not listed on the AYCE that we wanted to try, we could write it in the comments section. He then asked if we have ever been to Joe's. We told him it was our first time. He came back a little while later with an appetizer platter (gyoza, crab Rangoon) and another platter of shrimp tempura on the house. Despite two chefs manning the bar, orders came flying out at rapid speed. Multiple plates of sushi made our way to the table that they started filling an adjoining table with our dishes. We ordered a bunch of Cajun tuna nigiri which was generously portioned but could have used more Cajun seasoning. The yellowtail nigiri was light and fatty. My wife loved the Tokyo Night roll, a spicy tuna topped with tuna and cilantro which made an impact with the cilantro offering a contrasting, refreshing bite. Tuna Tornado was another similar roll with spicy ahi and seared tins on top. Unfortunately, we ordered so much that we only lasted one round My wife bravely asked, "who is Joe?" To that, the waitress responded that the original owner's name was Joe and it started off as a night club. Five owners later, her family took over and kept the name as Joe's was a staple in Riverside. Despite its very Americanized name, Joe's sushi offers quality, authentic sushi at a decent price point. We proudly recommend Joe's and will be back.
