In a world of fried chicken sandwiches, this one is a winner! With a generous portion of chicken, The Big Bird sandwich packs a spicy punch. I wasn't prepared for the spicy kick it had, but it was flavorful and juicy. The herb mayo was also a nice compliment to the sandwich. The first order that went out was a mixup of boneless chicken and wings, the poor guy had to go to the counter 4 TIMES to get the right combination of food and sauce. I was the second having waited a total of 27 minutes for a single sandwich and fries with 4 guys standing around the register twiddling their thumbs. I was asked TWICE what my name and order was. I was finally served before the woman in front of me who had ordered a single salad. The customer service is among the worst I have ever experienced, and at the price, the fries should not have been cold and soggy with a complete lack of seasoning. You read that right. These dorks forgot salt on french fries. This may sound like I am out of pocket, but I am a pretty liberal guy, and these guys were clearly stoned. Red eyes slurred speech, the whole lot. The only reason the second star comes into play is because my sandwich was off the chain. Seriously good stuff. Tiffany Derry, I sincerely hope you are reading this because you need to fire your whole staff and start over. They do not do your food any justice, especially in a location with the profit potential Legacy Hall has. My family and I had the opportunity to support this establishment on Juneteenth. We were prepared for a long line because we knew everyone was trying new spots. Although the line was long, they provided an alternative way to order your food. People were given the option to order online and wait vs waiting to get to the register. My family and friends had everything from the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken tenders, Duck Fat Fries, Banana Pudding, and Kool-aid. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! I was impressed with the costumer service as well. I know the staff was working as quickly as possible to get food out. They did it with a smile. This was my first time trying this chicken and I have to say the customer service won me over before I even tried the food I placed a order at 10:00 am which is before their opening hours which I didn't even realize it until I got there and I asked where was it located and the guy said they don't open until 11 so that spoke volumes to me so many places now don't care much about customer service but this place surely does !! First time @ Legacy Hall & having looked at all the food choices prior, something fried in duck fat somehow appealed to me. I got their chicken sandwiches & an order of fries. I'm not one to rave over food but I must say, this sandwich, hands down, is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The chicken was absolutely delicious and not heavy with that over fried greasy taste. The fries were crispy & lightly seasoned & a very good compliment to the sandwich. Very good food, however I typically order my sandwich no cheese and every-time I order it, they put cheese. The food is great but I come here almost every week and it happens almost every time. The food is well made, the chicken is Crisp and the fries are good, however the issue lies within how long it takes for the food to come to you. I went Saturday around 2 and I was the only one who was in line, that being said it still took them 20 minutes to get the food out. The head chef was slowly prepping the tea and sauces and when I rescued my "spicy bird" the bun was cold and mushy. This is by far my favorite chicken spot. The duck fat chicken is so flavorful and expertly crafted. The spicy is bird carries the perfect amount of heat. Love it! If you just want a Little finger food, they have a 3 piece chicken tender meal. The chicken is never greasy, and always crispy! Oh don't forget the dessert! We decided to check out the location at Legacy Food Hall in Plano. After browsing, I decided to try the Mediterranean cuisine, my friend decided on a couple, one being Roots. After sitting, I was asked to sample her chicken strips. I decided try give them a try. After placing an order for 3 strips. I was told it would be 10 minutes, after waiting an additional 5 (15 minutes), I returned to the counter and was told it would be an additional 2 minutes, I waited 5. I went back to the counter to witness several orders being filled before mine, after being told they were waiting on strips. The employee was stuffing her face putting up one finger to ask me to wait an additional minute, I requested a refund. Poor customer service and I do not recommend this establishment. read more

We got the 3 piece for $6 I believe (I didn't order it) We got the West Coast Hot Sauce as a dipping sauce, it was yellow O_O I tried the sauce and I instantly said no. Lol, buuuuuut... to be fair, the chicken was very good! It was a little greasy but hellooooo, it's fried chicken. I'm just the picky one :) flavor was all there for fried chicken, it was small wings. Disclaimer: It's hard to cook to everyone's taste buds and I understand that I've been spoiled to experience some of the best chicken growing up in Atlanta and traveling often to Louisiana. Wings: They don't have an outstanding flavor and to be honest I'm not sure what the point of the duck fat is. However, the wings are tolerable. If someone showed up to my house with some I would politely eat it with some hot sauce but I would not go out of my way to order these wings again. Chicken Sandwich: Disgusting. I do not understand the rave of this sandwich. 1) It's made with chicken thigh meat. When you think of chicken sandwich, chicken breast is what comes to mind. The chicken thigh along with the soggy potato bun with too much mayo created a slimy texture instead of a crispy fried chicken sandwich. If someone showed up to my house with this sandwich I would politely decline to eat it. Fries: Again, I don't understand the purpose of the duck fat. The fries are fries with some seasoning on it. The Shawarma Bar right next door has better fries. Banana Pudding: It's good and I appreciate that it was made fresh. Some places you can tell the banana pudding is old. Visited Legacy Hall yesterday and decided on this place. I ordered 3 wings and a side of fries. Overpriced due to being in Legacy Hall, but expected. I had the Spicy chicken sandwich (as I was craving one since the Popeyes vs Chick Fila challenge was on going) and it was good but not in my top 5 spicy chicken sandwiches. Plated nicely but there was no spice and it was a tad too salty (maybe the duck fat). I ditched the cheese because I'm not a fan of the cheese and left everything else on it. I'll have to go back and try the wings maybe that's where it's at. I gave it 4 stars but almost went with 3 and I'd actually give it a 3.5 if I could.
