Very nice donut shop! Seating inside and outside. Parking is easy and convenient. Greeting was right away. They have some really cool donuts! All of the donuts we had were good. Chai latte can beats what Starbucks makes. Ham and Cheese croissant is better than the traditional donut shop version and it's made fresh (instead of reheated like most donut shops). Pricing is average or slightly above average, but would be expected, given the extras that this location offers. read more

Rose Donuts!!! They made my son's 1st bday and baptism special! They continue to my family's favorite donut place!!! We usually drive here for an afternoon treat from Aliso Viejo!!!! And their bagel breakfast sandwich continues to be my favorite. We had them cater my son's bday/baptism celebration. 300 donut holes instead of your traditional cake!!! Easy to serve! No need to cut! Perfect for the a pool party! We celebrated at San Clemente Aquatics and they were perfect!!! I called them. Phone in my request. I also emailed them because my kids love rainbow sprinkles! Came in after a friend mentioned this spot. It was smaller than we imagined, but we were great by YUMMY DONUTS when we walked in. They quickly greeted us, we picked our table and eyed the menus. My love had the farmhouse platter with a glazed donut as a starter. I had a grilled ham and cheese on a croissant with a side of onion rings and a glazed donut for a starter as well. EVERYTHING was fresh and DELICIOUS. We both had yummy smoothies and took sticky buns home for breakfast the next day. The restaurant is COZY but so GOOD!!! read more

Was lucky to find this amazing gem. The best apple fritter in So Cal and I have tried them all. Stopped back there for breakfast/lunch...the menu is is unique and extensive. Even though I moved out of San Clemente, while I was there this was the place for me when I was in need of donuts for the office or a great burger for me. I didn't know they had closed for a remodel, but I'm glad to hear they're open again. I look forward to seeing what they've done with the place. My Sister recommended this place. If you're on a road trip or just a drive up north just for a day it is the best place to have breakfast or lunch. I was on my way to Disneyland and I stopped there to get some breakfast. I got the Classic Breakfast sandwich. It had egg, choice of protein, cheese (in my case I had it without) and your choice of bread. I had it on a crossant. Their sandwiches are really big in size and they are made to order. I'm upset with one of the workers here. There was a sign that said they would open back up at 2:30am. So I came back at that exact time, and I stood out in the cold waiting for them to open for 15 minutes. During all this time, I was motioning to the worker inside trying to see if he would open up, but he kept on shrugging and motioning "no" with his flailing arm movements. What? What the heck does that even mean? Are they postponing the opening time? Are they saying they aren't opening? I was confused and frustrated. Been coming here (every now and then) since I was a little girl with my Dad (He likes their coffee). Great selection of donuts and pastries. I've never had any of the breakfast menu items besides the donuts, so I can't review that, but heard good things. The employees have always been friendly and helpful as well. The one thing I think is cool about this place is that there are regulars who go here all the time and my dad has made some friends this way over the years. I hesitated giving 4 stars here because 4 stars can mean "Yay, I'm excited about this place," but in this case 4 stars just means "It's perfectly acceptable, but not amazing." The blueberry croissant was also good. This place is open pretty late and is on the way to/from Long Beach or San Clemente, so it's not a bad place to stop on a beach trip. They have quite a number of other food items, including fresh chopped fruit in a cup, drinks, etc. The prices are, I guess, not far from typical donut shop prices. If I was coming back from the beach with some friends and wanted donuts, I wouldn't hesitate to come here and grab some. I wouldn't rave about how good they are, but I don't think there's anything to complain about, either. read more
