We came in pretty late and honestly weren't sure if we would still be able to be seated, so we were ecstatic when Davinci was able to accommodate us without a reservation. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and an excellent host from the moment we walked in. Jackie and Sam took great care of us throughout dinner. Jackie gave my friend and I the sweetest compliments, which really made us feel good and added such a nice touch to our girls' night out. Sam was excellent as well. My friend's steak came out a little more rare than she preferred, and he immediately took care of it and had it cooked to perfection. I also had a few specific requests for how I wanted my food prepared, and Sam made sure they were communicated to the chef. Everything came out exactly how I wanted it and was absolutely delicious. I finally got to try the limited time Ruth's three course menu for $60, which included a starter, entree, personal side, and personal dessert. The promotion ran from January 5th to February 8th, and honestly, it was such an amazing deal! Food: We started with the soup of the day, which was French onion soup, and a steakhouse salad. The French onion soup was rich, flavorful, and comforting. For our entrees, we ordered the 6 oz filet with shrimp and upgraded to the 16 oz ribeye for an additional $26. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The filet is on the smaller side, which was perfect for me, but if you are a big meat lover, I would recommend upgrading to the ribeye. For sides, we chose garlic mashed potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts, which complemented the steaks nicely. Dessert options were limited to classic cheesecake and chocolate cheesecake. While both are solid choices, I do wish there had been more variety. Overall, it was a well rounded and satisfying dining experience, especially for the price! Service: Excellent! I came there with my husband and we ordered the Lamb Chops and the Petite Filet. Both were cooked to perfection and probably the most delicious Lamb Chops I have ever had. The Petit Filet was perfect for me and I really enjoyed it. We got a cocktail and dessert too which was really good. Our experience was not what we would expect for a fine dining experience at a steak restaurants! We started our experience with cocktails. And in good fashion, the drinks were made perfectly! What follow overshadow our drink experience. We ordered the jumbo shrimp for 26 dollars. The appetizer only comes with four shrimp. First of all I would not classified these shrimp as jumbo. The size was medium. Plus they seemed partially frozen...maybe it's because they were just sitting in ice. They were not great shrimp and I would not advise others to get shrimp. For main entree: we ordered the filet and sea bass. When the fish came, I questioned what my husband received as it looked like a bed over undercooked vegetables with some fish. The fish was thick in appearance. The taste: the fish did not taste like sea bass. I'm not 100 percent sold that the fish was sea bass. If it was, the fish was still prepared poorly. Overcooked! I ordered the filet; I ordered it medium rare. The steak was medium to medium plus. I did not want to wait for another steak so I ate it. For dessert: we ordered the carrot cake. The carrot cake size was impressive! The taste was not impressive. My husband felt it must of been frozen or sitting in a solid cold fridge. Cake should be st least room temperature. He was turned off by the cake. The highlight of our night was talking with Carlos. He has been with Ruth's Chris got over 20 years. He is very proud to work for the company. Great to hear this. We eat here several times a year, usually splitting an upgraded filet and shrimp Ruth's trio. Every review I've done before has been 5 stars. This time, we requested "easy on the salt", but it was like the chef "taught us a lesson" and doubled the salt. Never before has it been that salty, so much that my mouth is still salty the next day! The waitress offered to give me another one, but I didn't want to do that. In hindsight, I should have. If we ever return, I would say no seasonings at all. Honestly, had not been back in maybe 10 years...but was pleasantly surprised by how good it was last night. Prices felt quite reasonable for the quality. The food was excellent overall. We shared a ribeye that was perfectly cooked, while my son enjoyed the three-course kids' steak dinner, which was a nice touch. The Caesar salad, asparagus, and potatoes au gratin rounded out the meal. The potatoes were the one miss, more of a "down-home" style with orange cheese that I wouldn't order again. The included warm bread (and butter) for the table , however, was incredible totally addictive. Great service too. A five star dining experience if there ever was one. CSA's (Customer Service All Star) servers here was Damian and Laura-both pictured. Came here with a special guest, and both of us did our best to have monster appetites. Thanks to Damian (who appeared to be training Laura-it must have been the final touches because she was certainly up to task) we made some great decisions. For appetizers we went with an order of spicy shrimp and an order of crab cakes-both of which were delicious. Since neither of us do alcohol, I went with a glass of classic lemonade and she went with an Arnold Palmer. We then split a large Aqua Panna flat bottle of water which was refreshing. As for the main course, we settled on the porterhouse for two which was exceptional. The key thing to understand here is the "for two designation". Keep in mind I'm a big guy coming in at 250 plus pounds and brought a monster appetite with me. There is no way in the world I could have attacked and finished that steak solo! My guest and I still had about four decent size chunks of the steak left. Servers Damien and Laura saw that the steak was made to order, with a slightly tender side of the porterhouse being cut on one side of the bone and a slightly more done portion of the steak cut away on the other side. This was genius. To secure our way into a guaranteed Ruth Chris food coma, my guess insisted on a side baked potato that again was made to order. After entering the food coma, we graduated into the spiritual realm after Damien and Laura politely insisted we consider bringing the evening to an end with the the criminally insane sweet potato casserole alongside a few servings of vanilla ice cream-again to die for. And that's just about what I'm getting ready to do after this occasion! But special guests call for special evenings, and this was certainly one that was up to par. I'd highly recommend asking for Damien and or Laura (or perhaps you'll get lucky and get both like we did) as their collective charm and expertise made a pleasant evening all the more memorable. read more

The Goat Cheese & Artichoke Dip was amazing and really delicious with the garlic bread. Great way to start the dinner. The Caesar Salad was really good as well, not too saucy. Came here for a work holiday luncheon. The place was pretty much ours as it wasn't open to the public yet. It was nice, clean, had holiday decor up that wasn't loud or tacky but classy. Our waitress was fine. It was mainly just her, serving 16 people. She was friendly, chitchatted with everyone a bit, and was attentive when she could be. The steak was great. It was juicy and I prefer mine medium well., but that's about it. I thought the shrimp could've used more seasoning, the mashed potatoes could've used more pizazz, and the creamed spinach I could've substituted with green beans or a broccoli. It was bland. The bread was good when it came out fresh. At one point they gave us more bread that was rock hard. The butter for the bread was soft which I appreciated. There were 2 people in our group who got the steak and shrimp but they're allergic to shrimp so they requested to have the meal without the shrimp. They can't help it if they have an allergy. I thought it would've been nice if they were offered another protein or an extra side or given them a bigger steak but that didn't happen. I don't see it being kid-friendly so unless you're going out on a date or hanging out with adult friends, then yeah, I'd recommend, but I don't have a need to return. read more

It took over 30 minutes just to place our order, and our server was rarely around--even other tables seemed to struggle. This really concerns us, because we did go there recently and would like to go again. But this is just so very troubling. I ordered my usual - the Barbecued Shrimp (entree version), and my boyfriend ordered the prix fixe meal with Lobster Bisque, Filet + Lobster Tail, Mashed Potatoes, and Creme Brulee. Kevin provided outstanding service the entire evening despite being busy with several other tables. He checked in on us often and made sure our food was cooked exactly how we liked it. We then ordered the porterhouse steak that was shareable for two. When I said medium, the waiter even said, "Just to let you know, it's going to come out pink" (perfect) . But how disappointing. We ordered it in medium but it came out medium-well to welldone. The manager/supervisor came to apologize and said maybe we actually like it medium rare. We both said fine if they want to call their "medium" --"medium rare". This time, i was really expecting medium then. When the steak came out again, it was medium-rare, not medium. Dude, this is a steak house and the price is almost $200 for the steak. If the name was Ruth's Chris Kitchen, BBQ or Ruth Chris restaurant with a lower pricepoint, Id be more forgiving. But this is a steakhouse! Get your temp right. You cant get your temp right. I would recommend Chili's, Longhorn, or 555. Those have 3 different price points. But Ruth's? There's both a bar side and a fine dining side--we sat in the latter, but didn't check for menu differences. Negroni and Manhattan came quickly and were excellent. Service was lovely throughout and helped us time things perfectly to catch our movie. The premeal bread was generous, with plenty of butter. Crabcakes were standout--juicy, full of crab, and not dry. I had the ribeye (medium rare), and my friend had the T-bone with blue cheese crust. Both were cooked perfectly. The mushrooms are a must-try side. I liked the sweet potato casserole, but next time I'd go for something more classic like potatoes. We shared the bread pudding for dessert--great texture and perfect to split. Honestly, we were so eager to eat that we forgot to take photos of quite a few things. Founded in 1965 in New Orleans, Ruth's Chris became famous for its sizzling steaks served on 500-degree plates. My second time here in two years... considering is a net work restaurant, it was pretty good. It's an expensive place but the food is worth it. A steak house with good class and very good service. This month I went to Ruth Chris in Medina Del Rey. Me and my friend went on the day of her birthday. First we were told to sit our self in the bar area so we did. We did not receive any help or menus until 15 mins later. As we seen a manager walk by a host walk in the area as well as 2 servers walk by still no help. At that point I was ready to go until princess the server came over and was apologetic in regard to us not receiving help. At the end of the meal I asked to speak with the manager to let him know our experience and you could tell he just did not care his question to us what could I do for you , your already getting a deal for what you order.
