Burger and a lager for 10. Impressed.

Very impressed, great spot to catch World Cup games during the week. Huge projector just past the bar. Smish Smash and Spirited have great deals right now, burger and lager for $10?!?!? Nice loyalty bonuses too through your cell/Cash App. Very fast WiFi.

I attended a ticketed event last night celebrating James Beard Foundation nominees and award recipients at Saluhall which was used as the venue. Never having visited Saluhall before, I found the space very appealing - modern, Scandanavian décor with wood. There were tables set up for each nominee's restaurant to offer " bites ". The food was delicious! The crowd included celebrities such as Tyler Florence and MC Liam MaClem. I have to shout out these restaurants and food vendors: Mama (Oakland) chef Priscilla Przygocki's Capeletti with Porcini Mousse with Parmigiano Regiano ; 7 Adams' Porcini Meringue with Cold Pressed Venison Tartare bite ; Azalina's Pumpkin Noodle (sheet) with Dungeness Crab, octopus, sweet potato dressing, crispy chicken and green chimichurri sauce (wow!)...so many wonderful restaurants, wineries and vendors such as Charles Chocolates and Graffeo Coffee. An astounding event. Thanks to the James Beard Foundation for recognizing San Francisco Bay Area gems

Oh that was a disappointing experience. While I still love the overall idea of having the saluhall on market. It's is such a refreshing new spot for this landmark but challenged street and I thank IKEA for investing in the city. So why was I disappointed- they change the bakery - instead of great sandwiches, rolls, inspiring pastries and great great (whole wheat ) bread that they baked in house they now use those oven for another pizza place and only serving pastries where they once had all the great items. Now it's nothing great only sweet on sweet with mostly something sweet on addition. The only thing they had "savory" at the time of the review (July 2025) was prosciutto brie - sounds good right? Well thy messed it up cause they lit it on a sweet croissant:( Please reconsider that change.

Saluhall has something for everyone. I tried the veggie dog for a quick bite. Vendors include curry up now Casa borinquena Momo El ultimo baile Sate t soto (coming soon) Of course there's your standard ikea fare of salmon and meatballs.

I heard about this food hall and actually stumbled upon this Ikea/food hall as my boyfriend and I were walking back to our car. My boyfriend and I went straight to Saluhall since we didn't need anything from IKEA. The food hall is two floors. Both floors has a bar and food items. Each floor, there is a little directory to show you what spots are on each floor. My boyfriend and I decided on sharing a bowl of noodles from Momo noodles. We ordered the Momo's spicy noodle. The noodles were pretty good and flavorful. Overall, the noodles were pretty good.

First time here as we were trying out some dinner at Casa Boriqueña. Overall very clean food hall, quiet, not over crowded, and a busboy that works very hard on keeping all tables clean. With the Ikea also connected, you can't beat those vibes. I would bring my laptop to work on and then test out some furniture afterwards while taking a break. The type of cozy working conditions I love :) The food at Casa Boriqueña was amazing! I would love to come back to try other restaurants. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and cleanliness overall.

This is such a unique concept for Mid-Market. Saluhall means market hall in Swedish. Makes sense when the adjoining business is IKEA. Although this is not the typical IKEA you are probably thinking of. Separate review. Saluhall houses different food vendors, a cooking school, and also hosts private events such as monthly Drag Bingo and weekly Trivia Nights. While many vendors here mainly serve vegan-focus dishes, you will also likely find plenty of plant based dishes and a few vendors also offering meat dishes. It's two floors of Euro-style food hall experience located on Market St between 5th and 6th Streets.

This food hall is attached to IKEA in SF, and offers one hour parking validation in the garage downstairs with a $15 food purchase at Saluhall. There are plenty of vegan eateries and several different bars among the offerings. My partner picked up a sampler plate with skewers and plantains, from Casa Borinquena upstairs, while I tried a cheeseboiga and fries from Smish Smash eatery (both the burger and fries were delicious and filling). No complaints about the food or service. We enjoyed our meals while playing Drag Bingo near Lagom Bar on the first level of the food hall this past Sunday, with Elsa as the host, and drag performances by Dixie in between games (be ready with your dollar bills). It was entertaining, with simple bingo patterns to follow -- regular bingo 5 in a row, two sets of 5 in a row on the same card, and 4 corners bingo. Prizes for each game were a Saluhall tote and free pastry/dessert from one of the Saluhall businesses. I won a game, and picked up a brownie from Smorgasland to go along with my new bag. It was fun, and free to play (2 cards per person, to reuse for each game on the same day, already set up on the tables at arrival). Love how they do special events here throughout each month. They even have shuffleboard on site, downstairs. The space is lovely, modern and bright with so much seating on two levels. A great place to grab a snack, and perhaps a cocktail or two.

Love that they added this new food hall downtown to bring some more foot traffic to the area! It's directly connected to IKEA so you can stop for some food after doing your home furnishings shopping. There's a good variety of spots in here from pizza to burgers to Indian food, Swedish food(ofc), Chinese food, and more. There were also some places coming soon so looks like they'll be adding even more variety! There's a coffee shop downstairs and a bar upstairs so really this place is like a one stop shop! My bf and I opted for Momo noodles. He got the Momo's spicy noodle and I got the hot & sour noodles. Both bowls come with some arugula on top which I thought was a nice touch. My bf rated his 4.5/5 stars I'd give the hot and sour noodles a 3.5/5. Overall pretty good. All the sauce pools at the bottom so you really have to make sure to mix throroughly and consistently while you eat. When I first started eating I thought the noodles tasted a bit bland but by the time I got to the bottom where all the sauce was they were much more flavorful. The noodles themselves were on the thicker side and chewy which I liked. The star of this food hall rendezvous for me would have to be the soft serve. You can find the stall downstairs by the entrance. The girl who was working the stand was the absolute sweetest. She offered samples of all the flavors. I opted to get a swirl of the watermelon and lime flavors which she recommended. It was soooo freaking good I would go back just to get it again. You can also get toppings with it at no extra charge but I opted not to since it was already so good on its own. It seems like the owners of this hall are pushing for it to become a community space. I saw a calendar on the wall for upcoming events. There's a big tv downstairs for watching sports I presume? They host cooking classes upstairs. And there's even a small play place for kids upstairs as well. I hope this place breathes some life back into the downtown area that so desperately needs it!

Such a great spot!! Super spacious and nice to work from. Lots of great food options and quick service. The coffee and pastries downstairs are super delicious, and then upstairs has more filling food options. Will definitely be back!

I walked 1.5 miles in a unfortunately now sketchy SF to get to where I thought I might be able to sit or grab dinner to go. I had high hopes but a bunch of the restaurants are closed early before dinner time even..... I basically wasted my time coming here and they should post the hours of the places somewhere easy too find and update them properly online....I wanted my time going upstairs to find the places I wanted to try were closed earlier than they should be... I can't say anything else good about this place other than it was clean inside...

Beautiful, spacious 2-story food hall with their main entrance on Market Street. My friends and I went to check out Saluhall last Saturday night around 6pm before heading over to SF Playhouse on Post (a few walkable streets over), and the hall was not too crowded yet still very vibrant. They have restrooms with multiple stalls on the first floor with staff member who keypads a code in to enter. With many options to pick, we landed on Kayma Algerian Eatery on level 2 for our mains including: 1. ALGERIAN SPICED FRIES for $7 which includes French fries seasoned with cumin and ras el hanout spices with garlicky dipping sauce. Added chicken for extra $9. (Thoughts: Crispy and we'll seasoned, and the garlicky sauce was the winner. Would skip the chicken next time, it wasn't bad, just felt it didn't mean much for me). 2. BLOSSOM LIMONADE | Orange blossom scented organic limonade with mint $6 (Loved this!! Lemony and packed with flavor ) 2. KAYMA BOWL | DAJAJ PARADISE BOWL for $20 which includes Chicken breast marinated in yogurt, tomato, onion, cumin, and ras el hanout couscous with fire-roasted bell pepper hamiss (friend said this was good and a great portion, had leftovers) 3. IKEA'S Swedish Meatballs (A classic) 4. Empanada with impossible meat Plenty of seats, food options/variety that can satisfy your cravings. Would come back!

The Afghanistan chicken and couscous bowl at Kamya ! $20 and delicious !!

    Where to park?

Public transportation or Uber/Lyft is best. If you have to drive, there's a parking garage at 440 Stevenson that I believe charges $20.

Is there a rooftop space to eat outdoors? I know there's one down the block at the Emporium center, but it would be more convenient if they have one here as well.

    Not that I saw.

From the very first bite, I knew I had found the IT bagel spot in the city. I ordered one pumpernickel and one poppyseed. The staff member helping me was super efficient and scooped up my bagels in a flash. She asked me if I wanted any cream cheese. I dubiously asked if they had any vegan cream cheese fully expecting the answer to be no, as I didn't see it listed on the menu, but she confirmed instantly that they do offer vegan scallion cream cheese and added a compostable tub of it to my order. She also directed me to the canister of compostable knives available for takeout. I was in and out quicker than I expected. While waiting for the bus, I used the plastic knife I picked up to slice one of the bagels and slather on some of the vegan scallion cream cheese. I was impressed by how glossy the bagels appeared on the outside but how soft they are in the inside. The vegan scallion cream cheese really elevated the bagel to the next level. Idk what they put in it, but it's crack. It doesn't taste anything like the original Kite Hill spread I've gotten elsewhere. Suffice it to say, I think The Laundromat has ruined me for bagels and good cream cheese elsewhere.

I've been here quite a few times now, and it has honestly never let me down…read more I usually play it safe and order one of their burgers with fries which, to be fair, is hard to mess up--but on my most recent visit, I decided to try the monthly special: the Crispy Chicken Tacos. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical because it only came with two tacos, and I was starving. I almost ordered a second serving, but I'm so glad I didn't... or maybe I should have because they were that good. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and you could actually taste the hot honey without it overpowering everything else. It paired so well with the corn, slaw, and sauce, creating the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and fresh. And that squeeze of lemon on top? It brought everything together. Easily one of the best specials I've had in a while. One thing I also appreciated was how extensive the menu is. Since I almost always order a burger, I hadn't realized how many options they offer. My friend and I came with our kids, and everyone found something they were excited to eat, which made ordering easy. We grabbed one of the outdoor tables since we stopped by after the lunch rush on a weekday. The seating itself was nice, but be prepared to share the space with some very bold birds. One especially large bird was absolutely determined to steal our food. Obviously that's not the restaurant's fault, but it's worth mentioning if you're hoping for a quiet, uninterrupted meal outside. I can also see this place getting pretty hectic during peak hours, so if your schedule is flexible, I'd recommend stopping by outside the lunch rush. Overall, though, this spot continues to be one of my go-to places, and I'll definitely be back.

Weekday line wasn't long and we found some tables outside to sit at. I had a few modifications on…read moremy order and everything came out correctly. Little bit of a wait but the place was quite busy. The staff was so kind and patient with everyone. Food hit the spot and everyone at the table devoured their food. Been to a few Gott's before but the patio was lovely!
