The food was rather tasty. The ambiance was lovely. The service was good, although maybe overwhelmed at the end of the day.

We came here for drinks and the staff were super kind and accommodating for my mom who uses a cane. They seated us at a table even though we only wanted drinks. The wine list is great. We would definitely come back here for food because we loved the overall ambiance.

First, I'll start with the positives: this restaurant allowed for our table of six people to be seated last-minute. On a busy day for the New York City Marathon, the restaurant was full, but they were still open to working with us on the reservation time plus total size number. The ambience was chic mix with classic as demonstrated by their open and spacious bar plus round tables tables marked by red velvet colored booth seating. Unfortunately on the flipside, the food wasn't particularly noteworthy. With so many Italian restaurants, restaurants available for competitive purposes in the New York City area, I was not blown away by their pizza quality (a bit soggy with the cheese) nor salads (small portion sizes). We waited for about 40 minutes for the food to be ready which also felt longer than most. Overall I would advise keeping this restaurant on your radar for last-minute reservations but would not plan ahead for months just to eat at Serafina.

Came here for dinner on my first evening ever in NY! I had the Caesar salad with chicken. Best Caesar salad I've had yet and I've had a lot of Caesar salads. It was creamy and flavorful, well coated with dressing, not too acidic and not too zesty. Very good. Service and ambience were ok.

This restaurant was in my hotel. After a very long day at work, my table for one with a perfect glass of pinot Grigio and my gluten free pasta dish was the perfect oasis. The service was amazing. The restaurant was vibrant and alive, but not too loud. I stay at this hotel for work periodically, so I look forward to my return and another beautiful meal at Serafina's.

The restaurant it's very unassuming from the outside. It is actually quiet large with a vintage yet elegant setting. Love the accent canary yellow. There is seating outdoors with faux bush wall for privacy. Our server, Carmelo, was very helpful and attentive. The bathrooms are clean. The women's stall doors are excellent!!! No gaps on the sides of the doors. There are restrooms upstairs and downstairs. So ladies no need to wait. They have a meeting area with a fireplace below the stairs. It is Italian cuisine. We dined on Bruschetta, Caprese Salad, Calamari, Spicy Penne alla Vodka, Chicken Milanese, and Meat Lasagna. The food presentation was on par. The taste of the food was good and fresh. All things I expect, but nothing to write home about. As always, I end with, "would I return"? Perhaps, but it would not be my go to. I would return for the atmosphere and some drinks, but not necessarily a meal.

I've heard many good things about Serafina & I was very excited to try it out. The food was good, nothing outstanding, but it was good. The pasta was cooked just right & was pretty big portions. The ambience is adorable. Very cute romantic restaurant. I would have given 4 stars but I'm giving it 3 stars because of the service. After we got our food, suddenly our waiter just disappeared. Not just ours, but no waiters were to be found. We wanted to order dessert but after waiting 25 minutes of waiting, I decided to go up to the hostess & just ask for the check since it was getting late. When the check comes we get a $9 charge for water? Still water? Unheard of. Absurd to charge so much for water, this isn't Europe. They ended up taking the water charge off which was nice. My friend also got gum from under the table on her new jeans and they helped us clean it. Overall, food was good. Service was very very very slow. Just beware of the water charge.

Nice wine list to compliment a wonderful dinner. Loved the mushroom ravioli and want to return to try other items

Mid and felt expensive for the quality. If it was priced a bit lower I'd give it 4-stars but the price for quality makes this take a negative hit. The calamari was really tender but not fried enough. I wouldn't recommend. The pasta was really good and home made. I got the Spaghetti Al Limone and I would definitely get it again.

Even if we wouldn't have gotten a window table and it wasn't Christmas, the vibes and interior of this place would have still been great. We went in December night of 2024 so some aspects of the menu have changed however, most of the dishes still appear to be on their menu as of now, June 2026. It appears most changes comes to the type of pasta used in a dish, aspects around a dishes main focus and gelato/dessert flavors. Everything we ordered was an 8 or above out of 10. The beet salad (BARBABIETOLE) is easily 10/10 and a top 3 salad we have ever had. The chocolate cake with gelato (TORTINO DI CIOCCOLATO) was 10/10 and the best dessert we had at Da Andrea. We ordered 3 total, including the ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Tuna Tartare, gorgonzola pasta and bolognese are 9's. The fritto misto, the other pasta we ordered and the other 2 desserts are 8's. If you're in New York make reservations and go. My Wife found this place and made reservations. Only thing I regret after looking at additional photos is not ordering the grilled pork chop.

The pasta was al dente perfection and most importantly there were generous sauce portions. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and personable. I dined with a friend and we ordered 3 pastas instead of an appetizer (fantastic choice). We tried the following dishes: *Garganelli Mushroom Ragu and Ricotta Salata. This was by far our favorite dish. It was bursting with flavor, had tons of sauce and cheese and was perfectly cooked. If you enjoy mushroom you MUST order this!! *Tagliatelle Bolognese Bianco (Chicken, Veal, Pork) and Parmigiano. Which was so delicious and has plenty of meat and sauce. The tagliatelle was amazing and tasted to fresh. *Bucatini with Pancetta, Tomato, Chilies and Pecorino. We thought this was good but our least favorite dish of the 3. Honorable mention to the spaghetti that my friend had at her last visit. She said it was fresh and delicious but almost too rich which she mostly owned to it being a white sauce.

We started with the housemade focaccia and Wagyu carpaccio--both were outstanding, with the perfect balance of crispy, flavorful, and fresh elements. We finished with the famous olive oil cake, which we loved for its subtly sweet, moist and tender bite. Served with lightly whipped cream and raisins, the combination was surprisingly delicious. We were also touched by the complimentary anniversary scoop of ice cream. The interior seating is a bit snug, but the decor is beautiful--elegant yet homey. The service was good as well. Overall, we highly recommend L'Artusi for a special night out!

I read the reviews mostly good so I was hoping for the best. My friends and I were not disappointed. The first thing I noticed was there were 7 people in my party and 4 arrived early and did not have to wait for my arrival to be seated. Second the waiter who took our order was polite and on point with specials and knowledge of the menu. He (just never caught his name) suggested the Rigatoni which chicken and sausage. I am not really a pasta eater but baby that dish could change that; it was DELICIOUS. I even liked the anchovy dressing on my Caesar Salad and I dislike anchovies. All the dishes ordered (chicken parm, mussels chicken paillard etc.) everyone enjoyed them immensely. The only negative was when the Chicken Paiikard arrived it was supposed to a shared dish by the elderly couple and they asked for regular dinner plates from one of the servers. It took the gentleman who took our order to step in and said sure, lucky their food was still hot. Common Sense is not so common for all. But this will not lower my rating as it was taken care of swiftly. The portions were the perfect size and I was not stuffed but pleasantly satified. We told them the time of our show, food was out quickly, nicely presented, still hot and very tasty. The restaurant was not noisy and had space between the tables. It also had an elevator for those who could not manage stairs. Trattoria Trecolori you will be added to my must go again list! Thank for a wonderful experience!
