    Hot Dog, 100% beef! 4/5

I'm still almost certain Shake Shack changed up the recipe for their chicken bites, but honestly... I'm not mad at it anymore. They actually were extra tasty this time around (though I'll always miss the OG version). Thanks to the Shake Shack customer service team for all their support! Everything paired well together and hit the spot perfectly! Also, can we talk about how good their hot dogs are?! I love that they're made with 100% beef instead of pork -- such a win in my book!

Please check your food before eating. My patty was pink and cold in the middle. This was from a pickup order on 6/20.

I've been to this shake shack location plenty of times since I live close by. Honestly, they're consistent every time and I've not once had a meal here. The staff are always so pleasant to me and they do a good job keeping the inside clean. I love getting the smoke shack burger. Those chopped cherry peppers give it that perfect spicy and tanginess to the burger. The frozen custards are always amazing too. Will definitely keep coming back.

It's really crazy that I live right around the corner and this is my first time actually dining in. I usually do takeout, so this experience was very delightful and insightful. I will definitely be doing more dine in experience. I just wanna give a big shout out to Sean, he was such a sweetheart! He was very welcoming and passionate at what he does! He made he asked every customer how their experience was, and had a great vibe to him. He's also very funny :) Food? Never any complaints. Ambiance? It's very neat! I was actually very impressed with the security guard! I didn't get her name, but she was standing on business! She's so friendly, but the second someone homeless tries to enter- she's ready ready! That's always been a big reason why I've been scared to dine in at any restaurant in DTLA. So now I know I'm protected.

I stay in Oklahoma, the closest I got to a Shake Shack was seeing their stuff on blogs. My other hometown, Dallas, got a Shake Shack a couple years back. I made a trip to LA, this was in the area during an afternoon stroll, I had to stop by after all of this time. I got the Korean BBQ Burger. They give you the option to sub for a veggie patty & that's exactly what I did. Outside of the angus beef, it comes with cheese, crispy sweet onions, fresh scallions & Korean BBQ sauce. The sauce was very subtle. I added pickles to my burger to give it something extra. The burger was for a limited time. They also had a Korean style Fried Chicken sandwich & Spicy BBQ Korean Fries. I wanted a shake so bad, I didn't have the stomach room for it. It was the Strawberry Frosted Donut Shake that made me almost not care the room I didn't have for it.

The setup is a bit different, the entrance is not off of the main street, it's on the side. Parking is tough to find in this area. Multiple one way streets surround the area. This was my 2nd time trying Shake Shack, and it's actually pretty good. I ordered the avocado bacon burger and a maple snickerdoodle shake. Both were very delicious. Price wise it is a bit pricey. I paid about $19 for the two. I feel like if it's going to be that much I should at least have my order taken by someone instead of doing everything myself. Then the iPad asks if you would like to tip lol This visit was definitely better than my first experience. Thank you. I recommend trying the limited edition shake! It tasted like cinnamon cookies ;)

Shake Shack is probably my favorite burger place. The Shack Stack, my personal favorite, stands out with its perfectly cooked patty and the crunchy deep fried portobello mushroom stuffed with gooey cheese. The French fries are always great. The highlight, however, was the Not Milk vegan chocolate shake. This shake was creamy and indulgent without the dairy, perfect for those looking for plant-based options. I'm not vegan, myself, but I do like trying new things and I was impressed. It could almost pass for the real thing if you didn't say anything.

You want a good burger, you can always count on shake shack to come through. I'm an LA native so it will never be better than in-n-out haha But it definitely tastes good but I wish the portions were a bit bigger. It always leaves hungry. Fries are mid but the shakes are top shelf. Dtla location is a bit busy and kind of loud. Most of the time it's packed due to all the pick up orders from Uber eats and door dash. Service is always great and they take care of your order as fast as they can

Shake shack is pretty yummy! I love their seasonal items such as the Korean inspired burger and fries. The shake shack burger is great and whenever I get the fries, I always have to get the cheese sauce with it because it's just so yummy together. I also got the peaches and cream shake here and that was also very good!

The food is great. Staff is friendly. Place does fill up during lunch and dinner time. Not great for large groups. If its your first time here- definitely try the Shackstack burger.

This is my first time eating at a Shake Shack ever! I know, I know, crazy right? So I got the roadside double with some spicy cheese fries and a cookies and cream shake! The burger itself was pretty decent, but the fries?????? Life changing! Those spicy cheese fries were to die for. I will literally come to shake shack just to eat like 3 orders of those. The cookies and cream shake was good as well! The service was fast and the staff were very friendly!

We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. The Big Mac stays the same. I went to LA to taste, apparently, the best burger in LA at For the Win. I paid $25 for two smash burgers and had high expectations. After all, when you click this joint on Google Maps, a fancy review pops up. Nice! However, when the smash burger entered my cave and caressed my buds, my mind instantly recognized it as a Big Mac. Therefore, my brain could hardly differentiate between a McDonalds burger, and the "best" burger in LA. I haven't eaten at McDonalds in 14 years, but my mind still knew what a gentle and warm face looks like. So overall, it was alright! As the reverend Shane Gillis says "Not Bad". The service was good tho. And the ambiance was a bit weird because the music was off. Haha bye!!!

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. The DH is probably one of the best chonky burgers I've had in a long time. It reminded me of an elevated fancy Big Mac in the best way possible, probably because of the sesame bun. The dry aged patty was so juicy, flavourful and umami. The patty was seared to perfection with a caramelized crispy exterior and an incredibly succulent center. I happened to be in the area, and even though I'd already eaten, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally drop in. Irv's originally opened in 1946 as Queen's Burgers, located right on Route 66 on Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo, and was deeply ingrained in LA's historic car culture. In 1970, Irv Genis bought the stand and renamed it Irv's Burgers, and it quickly became a legendary late-night spot for rock icons like Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison. By 2000, Sonia Hong took over, famously hand-drawing doodles on the paper plates alongside her signature slogan, "Just for you." After closing in 2013 and again in 2018, Lawrence Longo partnered with Sonia in 2021 to bring the brand back to life. They've since expanded quite a bit, even opening locations in Malibu and Las Vegas. On a staff recommendation, I ordered Irv's Original Roadside Burger Double ($11.25). Honestly, it was just okay. While a certain amount of grease and salt is expected with a burger, this one crossed the line into being a bit too salty and oily. On the bright side, the sesame bun was excellent, and I loved that they kept Sonia's legacy alive by printing her classic doodles on the tray placemats. While I'm glad Irv's was saved from history and is expanding, the food itself felt pretty so-so. The outdoor tables were also a bit dirty during my visit. I still love that classic roadside burger stand aesthetic with the outdoor stools, but unfortunately, I won't be in a rush to head back.

To say I'm super bummed is an understatement. I am so thankful that I happen to stop by for lunch and visit this location one last time. The same manager was there on the last day as when I went the first time two years ago. The staff there was always amazing, friendly, and the food was incredible. I think it was the Chinatown location that didn't work for them. However, the good news is that they do have three other locations and if you have never been, I suggest you check Kroft out if you love burgers, especially smashed. The other locations are in Long Beach, Anaheim, and Rancho Cucamonga. I wish them luck and I will definitely be stopping in their other locations if I am ever in the area.

Waited another 10min, while I saw other people picking up orders, so I checked in again. Same response, not ready yet. Another 10min passed by, now I'm seeeing people who came after me get their orders before me. Asked the staff again for my order status. The order pick up window person shouted my name to the kitchen each time I checked in. Finally the 3rd time they responded, they start arguing, apparently my order was done a long time ago, and it was given to someone else. It took 30min to figure out that my order had already been done and given to someone else because there was no communication between the kitchen, order staff or pick up staff. no apology, just got my food after the argument 3minutes later...Food was average, definitely not worth a 30min wait.
