Good Korean food in the valley. I order from here at least twice a month. Honestly everything I've had is pretty good. Being Korean myself, I'm a hard judge with Korean food. My mom and I like to order the galbi tang (galbi soup. Absolutely delicious) the eundagoo jorrim (spicy black cod stew - amazing flavor if you like spicy). Those are our main go tos.. I also like their bbq and cold noodles when I'm dining in. Their gamja tang (potato pork stew is also amazing and large enough to share for people who like a little spice). Overall, it's a decent place. The price has gone up like everywhere else, but I noticed they now have "automatic" tip of 18%, added by the restaurant. I am not into automatic tipping, determined by any restaurant. It's a major turn-off for me. I need to find a different place to go. read more

Best service in the valley by far. They will have you eating within 2 minutes of seating you. The waitresses all help each other as a team and they really pay attention to details. The food is as amazing as the service. I usually drop my car off at the car wash on the corner of Reseda and Devonshire and go in here for lunch. Time well spent. read more

The food was good but customer service was TERRIBLE. I wish I could give them 0 star. We came around 8:20pm but waited for our table for over 20 mins which is I understand because we just walked in. Once we seated, we just opened the menu and a lady came to rush us to order. Excuse me, you didn't give your customers even 2 mins to read the menu??? They close at 10pm but around 9:30pm they would want to kick you out of the restaurant. And then after we paid the check, a lady came back to us and asked for more TIP. Super good Korean BBQ, especially for not being in K-town. My dad and brother love the meat grilling here, while my mom, sister and I love the vegetarian and pescatarian options. What's good: 1. All the marinated beef 2. Bibimbap (regular and dolsot) 3. Fried mackerel (big portion) You can make the bibimbap vegan or vegetarian if you ask them to leave out the egg and beef. We usually ask for it on the side so other people can eat it. With the BBQ they give you little rice wrap squares in which you make little meat and salad wraps. More like a 3.5 star restaurant BUT it's the best you can get in The Valley. But honestly my favorite thing here is the Minu Gui----ask fry it up extra crispy so that the bones become the World tastiest CRACKER! I've been coming here since I was a little girl and I love it here. The Korean ajjumas are MVPs. It's the same 3-4 Korean aunties that RUN around the restaurant and outside the restaurant (they have outdoor dining too) and they are always the nicest ladies ever. This was my second time trying Korean BBQ in LA. The meats are pretty delicious and savory. The best meat would be the kalbi which was soft, tender, and lightly smokey. Complement that with a refreshing glass of chilled beer, and you have a perfect meal. There are plenty of banchans to supplement the meal and you can ask for refills too which is nice. The seating can be a bit tight for 4 people to a table, especially if you have a lot of side dishes packed together on the table. Overall, delicious KBBQ restaurant in the SFV. My spot for Korean BBQ! I live 25-minutes away and make the trip at least once a week, the food is that good. The meat is hands down the best quality and the sides are always fresh and plentiful. It's not AYCE, which is a plus for me as I know that I'm getting good quality meat. People complaining about the waitress service need to do their research on old school, legit Korean BBQ joints. This place isn't for everyone I'll admit. It's not AYCE, it's not the newest, happening restaurant on the block, but it's Korean BBQ done right. I know that the meat is given raw and you have to grill it yourself and that's the fun of it, but something is off. Maybe the vegetables, the dip or something else. And here's the kicker. We ordered 2 meat combination with seasoned King ribs and cold noodle but the quality of King rib was absolutely terrible and other cut was too chewy as well. Entire plate of King rib was a chunk of fat. I told one of the waitress about the meat quality but she ignored and just passed by us like we are invisible. They have such a wide variety that it would take many visits to try a decent chunk of it. I had so many different things in mind, but since it was our first time there, I figured you can't go wrong with a classic meat combination, after all, it is a Korean self-cook restaurant. We chose the combination with the short ribs and the brisket. It came with soup, salad, and all the sides that a typical KBBQ place would have. The side dishes were delicious and fresh. The meats, however, wasn't too fresh. There was a slight taste to it that would be off-putting to those with extremely great tastebuds. Still reveling in that Korean BBQ aromatherapy blast that hit me when I opened their front door. However my dolsotbibimbap was disappointing. The vegetables were not salty this time around, but had an odd sort of taste. I cannot put it in words, other than only the shredded carrots tasted fresh. I liked how I could order brown rice that had small dark beans (adzuki) in it, though I really did not like that the beans were not cooked adequately. They were hard, as if they needed more soaking and cooking time. Maybe they were rushed? Because of their inconsistency and the fact that their tea is not super hot, this is my least favorite Korean BBQ. The longer I sat there, the more I disliked their decor too. My dad liked his man du soup dish as did his friend. They just about inhaled their bowls. Which means their meat dishes remain highly tasty. read more

This is our go to Place for Korean BBQ in the valley. We used to go here a lot before the pandemic. Now we just order and pick up every now and then. I would take my daughter here when she was younger and she would eat as much as she can. I can say my family and I enjoy Korean food. So I guess for the western side of the Valley, this is the place my co-workers like to go eat for KBBQ. Unfortunately, while I found the place good by Valley standards, overall it was just mediocre compared to other places I have been to. This place is NOT AYCE (at least from what I saw and ordered), so we ended up ordering certain sets that contained meats and a variety of other goods. There was also the option to order certain meats individually. The meat itself tasted pretty good, so I felt like they were making the food with decent to good quality meats, but the items that accompanied the meat left a lot to be desired. I thought the Banchan was just okay tasting, it wasn't as good as other Korean places I have been to, and they were just acceptable. The salad served had some sort of dressing on it that I wasn't too fond of, like a thick Chinese Chicken salad dressing. They didn't provide any thin pickled radishes which I am used to when eating KBBQ, but they did provide the thin rice sheets. The dipping sauces were one with oil, and one with chili sauce, and I was surprised there was not one of the vinegary soy sauce options. The soup and japchae were also just okay, nothing too special. Overall the place is decent if you're hungry in the Valley, but not some place I would normally go to if I had other KBBQ options. read more
