I eat here 1-2 times a week, and those in my office eat here almost daily. I just ordered a Greek Salad and added charbroiled chicken, which I have had many times on the chicken salad. I was really enjoying my salad until I came across a raw piece of chicken. I have no idea how much I already ate- will keep you posted if I end up with salmonella. I don't usually write reviews but I had incredible service yesterday: I was going home from work and decided to do a GrubHub pick up on the way. I always saw Siggys and wanted to try it sometime. It was about 7:15pm. At 7:35 I get a call from Siggys and they tell me my food is ready for pick up. Awesome! They also said that don't worry if the lights are off, they just closed at 7. And I'm thinking, "whoa! Other places have cancelled my GrubHub orders in the middle of the day. And here this place honored my order even after they closed." I get there and meet Demitri and his night staff. They had my food ready and it was delicious (country fried steak). I was met with smiles and a handshake even though the building was closed and nobody was there to see. I feel bad I forgot his name (busboy), but his professionalism, and eagerness to make sure you have everything to enjoy your meal, is simply awesome. Food is very good and I have never had even a wilted piece of lettuce, it is so fresh. (I usually do their salads, but everything is really good). Be careful if you order the fries, fried zucchini, and onion rings. It is more than two people can eat. You get a great value for your money with this place. I always read these reviews with a bit of skepticism. When people are complaining about spending $4 on a hamburger and it wasn't worth the price, I immediately ignore those people. I also read some complaints about their burgers being greasy, but I thought that was the point of going to places like this. This is not health food, its a burger joint. Now on to my review. This place is great. 4 stars instead of 5 because I think they do have a little room for improvement. I tried their hotdog once and the bun was 3 times the size of the dog. It is supposed to be the other way around. In the end, all I got to taste was bun. That being said, I am a huge fan of their bacon cheeseburger and their egg sandwich. Both are absolutely delicious that I might have a hard time trying anything else in the future. The burger was not overly greasy like people stated in previous reviews. The burger itself was exactly what I expected to get from a place like this. Don't let the appearance of this place fool you, they have some good food. Their customer service has always been good for me. They have always been friendly and gotten my order right. The only negative I can say is that their drive thru wait times are a little longer than your average fast food chain. They have one of the best burgers in the area if not the best. The quality of food at Siggy's honestly makes me wonder... I've had french toast sticks for breakfast and I honestly felt like I was chewing on rubber. I've also had a regular burger for about $3 and although the price seemed decent, the greasy feel that's left on your tongue isn't. It was pretty disgusting. Overall... service is pretty decent, but I do think that some of their items seem just a tad overpriced. I would definitely stick to a Denny's for breakfast or a different joint for lunch. I used to come here a lot when our shop was on the next block. The service was always fast and my order was ALWAYS right! Siggy's is in an odd place. It's not freeway friendly and you might drive right by it and completely miss it. Your loss! It's damn good! I've had the breakfast burrito, the burgers and the pastrami sandwich and bbq beef and they're all fantastic. I've seen the ham and eggs and the ham steak barely fits on the plate.. HUGE! The burgers are all great and I've had them several different ways. You can't make a bad choice. The bbq beef and the pastrami sandwich are also HUGE and come on a roll. They're not afraid to load the meat on... then they pile on some more. If I had to pick one to eat for the rest of my life it would be the pastrami by a slim margin. Mostly because I'm a "Pastrami Snob and if you're not careful your shirt will also enjoy your bbq beef too. THe bbq beef isn't really Eat in the Car friendly since the meat is piled high and the saucy goodness goes everywhere if you're not careful. The fried mushrooms are pretty darn good and if you like that sort of thing (I don't) the fried zucchini sticks I've been told are good too. The staff is very friendly and seem to be in tune with what you need. They magically show up with extra ranch or mustard or whatever you happen to be craving. They come clear your plates and check on you without hovering. There's also a drive thru if you don't have time to eat there or want to take something back to work with you.. I decided to try this place out. Highly disappointed and will nor return. We arrived at 650 and I told my boys to sit down. The cashier saw this and allowed me to order. I asked if they had shakes and she stared at me and said yes. I ordered our food and then she tells me you can't sit in here. You can have your food to go. I asked her if the dining room closed. She said they were closed. Why would you let me order? I didntsee a sign that showed hours. I told her never mind and left. The manager came back and said i can eat inside. I said okay. Then i had to hear them continue to ask the time. They then charged me incorrectly. I just wanted to get my boys fed. I told them we would eat outside. I then watched the cook bring food from the back, he touched a number of things then used his bare hand to throw lettuce and about 3/4 of an onion on my salad. The food was bland. Ketchup everywhere, cold fries, and lots of iceberg for 12 bucks. I then see on the menu they have 2 sizes for salads and she just charged me for the bigger salad without asking.
