Came by for an early dinner. I had a reservation I made online but the place was empty so really not needed this early. Anyway, they seated us at a weird corner table in the back which was super awkward. Not sure why when they had several other tables unoccupied. We ordered: Thai lemon tea - good but a bit too sweet. Very strong tea though. 4/5. Boat noodle - good. Solid 4.5/5. Nice noodle texture, rich broth, very similar to the ones I had in Bangkok. Som tum pra la - good but way too salty. The pra la is a nice touch adding some funk and authenticity, but overall too heavy handed on the seasoning so it's overly salty. 3/5 Silom grilled chicken - good. Juicy thigh meat. The sauce is excellent. 5/5. Pad kee mao - good dish. Nice noodle texture. They know their way around a wok. 5/5 Food here is legit authentic tasting. If you've eaten these things on the streets of Bangkok, this is about as close as you get in Vancouver, no joke. We asked for the spicy dishes to be "Thai spicy" and they delivered. If you like Thai level spicy, they got it. Service was friendly. The restaurant is clean but simple. This is not a place with social media photo gimmicks. Just selectable and chairs to eat their food. No unnecessary decor or fancy plating. Their prices are high though. That is their one big weakness. You can argue their portions are small. Relative to the price, yeah. But I find the portion size perfect. Prices are just on the high side especially for a casual joint like this. Such cute interior- a well decorated cozy space with garlic-packed flavours. I'm a garlic enjoyer and you will most definitely enjoy the Pad Si Ew if you are as well. Can't speak on authenticity but I loved the stir fry flavour's smokiness, chewy texture of the noodles, and tenderness of pork. Pad thai was a solid dish as well, though a bit tart for my preference, would still get it again for sure! Small shop so service is a little bit slow, but our waitress did come by to refill our waters :) read more

The food was pretty good but a little too spicy for my taste. We ordered the roti which we found way too greasy. The pad kee mao had really good flavour and "wok hay" but it was too spicy. They really should ask you the spice level you desire. The crispy chicken was also really tasty. The sauce was delicious but also too spicy. Wish it wasn't spicy at all. There's no need for it to be spicy. The servers were friendly but very inefficient and slow. It's a tiny restaurant and you can tell the servers are not experienced ones. Took them forever to come around with water or take our order. Hope this improves as the food is very good. read more

Really, really popular and rightly so. This food is something elevated beyond your standard fare. SO many things that sounded good and it was unique and should be added to your list. The only reason I cannot give it a 5 is one odd flavour in a powder that didn't appeal to me but my wife liked it. Also, portions are smaller (but filling). read more

Wonderful new thai place in the area. We ordered take out and tried a bunch of their dishes including the Pad si Ew which had great wok her and uses the clear rice sheet noodles! We also tried their.. Silom Platter (assortment of appetizers) Green curry - quite spicy but very flavourful and plenty of chicken Nam Tok Crispy Chicken - a bit too much breading Kao Pad Nham - tasty and not wet at all with little chunks of chinese sausage Overall, we were more than pleased with the delicious food here. I haven't eaten in at the restaurant, but have done take out many times and each time the food has been delicious and well priced. This restaurant has my favourite pad si ew with its chewy noodles. I also recommend the pork jowl. I have yet to try anything that didn't taste delicious here. read more

Tasty new Thai place on Knight. Parking is available on Knight, as well as the side street. Place is pretty small. Maybe 16 seats. Pretty cozy. Place is pretty bare bones, other than a LED logo on the wall. Staff are friendly. They speak Thai. Looks authentic. Dishes here do not include rice. Something to keep in mind. Pad ka pao moo grob - tasty pork belly. Nice mix of flavours. Comes with a sunny side up egg. Green chicken curry - chicken is fried and battered, much like Japanese karaage. Great taste. Dishes here can also be "Thai spicy", which is really nice for cranking up the heat. Very satisfying. Only real complaint is that the portion sizes are a bit small for the price. Been to Silom Thai Cuisine for a few dinners. On a recent visit, we shared roti with curry sauce ($8.00), tom kha soup chicken ($16.00) and pad kra pao egg-tofu & pork ($23.00). Added rice noodles for an extra $3.00. Roti's crispy but you only get four tiny pieces. Flavours were okay, portion sizes are small for the price. read more

First time to come here for dinner. I called to reserve a table in case I had to wait for a long time. My husband and I arrived at 7:25pm. Our reservation was at 7:30pm. We got seated quickly. The server was very polite. She was busy running around and served other customers. We ordered their platter for appetizers, pad Thai with glass noodles and pork and Tom Yum dry noodles. Everything tasted great. The papaya salad was more spicy than I expected. If you can't eat too spicy, make sure to ask the restaurant to make it less spicy. See the attached photos. A hidden gem for great Thai food. A friend recommended this place. Food: 5/5 we had Pad Thai noodle with tamarind sauce, Pad Kra Pao Pork which was fried grounded pork with chilli, and Thai basil, served with an egg and rice, & green curry with chicken. My favorite was the Pad Thai noodle. Service: 5/5 server was friendly and helpful with his recommendations. Atmosphere: 5/5 a cheery and bright place. I'll be back to try the other dishes. read more

Service: usually just 1 waitress who is also the host. The place is quite small and gets very busy so make a reso to be safe. Ambience is 2/5 but who cares cause the food is CRAAZY!! Came back twice in 1 week LOL only the silom platter was nothing out of this world. GET THE ROTI with curry! Pad see ew is GOOD, the boat noodles, YES. Grilled pork jowl, JOOCY. Hidden on Knight Street is a little Thai restaurant that many have recommended. There was easy street parking in the front. The restaurant is quite small, so making a reservation would be recommended. We had a party of 5 so we were able to order a variety of dishes. The pad see ew and boat noodle was my favourite out of everything we ordered. The boat noodles were bouncy and very flavourful, but the noodle in the pad see ew was not as chewy as I would like. read more

Ordered food through uber eats Had a deal that was order a pad see ew and get a Thai milk tea. When delivery arrived, no milk tea came with it. Once reported to uber, the deal was gone from uber site, and no compensation from either parties. Seems like restaurant made an error and had to delete it quickly once they found out, but didn't send any refunds to customers. Uber won't do anything because they can't see the promotion.
