The food was pretty good but a little too spicy for my taste. We ordered the roti which we found way too greasy. The pad kee mao had really good flavour and "wok hay" but it was too spicy. They really should ask you the spice level you desire. The crispy chicken was also really tasty. The sauce was delicious but also too spicy. Wish it wasn't spicy at all. There's no need for it to be spicy. The servers were friendly but very inefficient and slow. It's a tiny restaurant and you can tell the servers are not experienced ones. Took them forever to come around with water or take our order. Hope this improves as the food is very good.

Tasty new Thai place on Knight. Parking is available on Knight, as well as the side street. Place is pretty small. Maybe 16 seats. Pretty cozy. Place is pretty bare bones, other than a LED logo on the wall. Staff are friendly. They speak Thai. Looks authentic. Dishes here do not include rice. Something to keep in mind. Pad ka pao moo grob - tasty pork belly. Nice mix of flavours. Comes with a sunny side up egg. Green chicken curry - chicken is fried and battered, much like Japanese karaage. Great taste. Dishes here can also be "Thai spicy", which is really nice for cranking up the heat. Very satisfying. Only real complaint is that the portion sizes are a bit small for the price. The quality is there though.

    Tom kha soup chicken ($16.00)

Been to Silom Thai Cuisine for a few dinners. On a recent visit, we shared roti with curry sauce ($8.00), tom kha soup chicken ($16.00) and pad kra pao egg-tofu & pork ($23.00). Added rice noodles for an extra $3.00. Roti's crispy but you only get four tiny pieces. Flavours were okay, portion sizes are small for the price.

First time to come here for dinner. I called to reserve a table in case I had to wait for a long time. My husband and I arrived at 7:25pm. Our reservation was at 7:30pm. We got seated quickly. The server was very polite. She was busy running around and served other customers. We ordered their platter for appetizers, pad Thai with glass noodles and pork and Tom Yum dry noodles. Everything tasted great. The papaya salad was more spicy than I expected. If you can't eat too spicy, make sure to ask the restaurant to make it less spicy. See the attached photos. All the dishes looked delicious and they were! Presentation of was great. Portion and pricing were reasonable and affordable.

A hidden gem for great Thai food. A friend recommended this place. Food: 5/5 we had Pad Thai noodle with tamarind sauce, Pad Kra Pao Pork which was fried grounded pork with chilli, and Thai basil, served with an egg and rice, & green curry with chicken. My favorite was the Pad Thai noodle. Service: 5/5 server was friendly and helpful with his recommendations. Atmosphere: 5/5 a cheery and bright place. I'll be back to try the other dishes.

The service was spot on and very pleasant. We enjoyed a wonderful and meal with some delicious appetizers. I read the reviews and specifically asked for crispy calamari and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Prawn pad Thai and the curry were very good. I enjoyed the spring rolls which were fresh with crisp filling. Definitely a can't go wrong spot for me.

The chicken satay was definitely very good, flavorful and tender. The peanut sauce goes very well with the meat. Downside was the calamari, the pieces are quite big which make it not as crispy as it would be. Our favorite was the salmon penang curry. the coconut flavor of the curry together with the sweetness make it a very well balanced item. it went very well with the jasmine rice. We also tried the mango sticky rice. the warm sticky rice went perfectly well with the sweetness of the mango. very well made I would love to visit again to try other items on the list which caught my eyes

The unfortunate downside for getting a Michelin Bib Gourmand. Butter Beef - beefy, garlicky, herby, tangy, sweet, it's got a little bit of everything. Very tender Trieu Chau Fried Rice - this dish is fantastic. One of the better fried rice dishes I have had. It has the wok hay and I would have been perfectly happy just to eat this as a meal Phnom Penh Chicken Wings - the first bite I had, I was not impressed. I dipped it in the lemon juice with pepper and it had some crisp, but was really lacking in flavor. Then we found a small pile of fried garlic near the bottom of the plate. That's where all the salt and flavor was. We put that onto the wings and they were quite good. Wish that was just set to the side at the beginning. Green Papaya Salad - this thing is packed with flavor. I liked it quite a bit, but I thought the beef jerky was an oddball ingredient Filet Beef Luc Lac - thinly sliced beef that is tender and covered in a silky sauce. It was quite salty so it went well with our rice. No major complaints about any of the food and I thought they had some pretty unique takes on dishes. For a small party we only could really order the trifecta: chicken wings, butter beef and bo luc lac. Loved the chicken wings and butter beef. They're as good as everyone says they are and I can understand why they're popular dishes to order. The Bo luc lac was just ok for me. I've had better. Worth trying at least once. Don't think I'd wait 1-2 hours to eat here though.

The restaurant is located on a busy street and is unassuming/easy to miss so I'm glad my boyfriend pointed it out for us to try with some friends. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share. They all arrived relatively quickly and my favourites were the pad thai and the khao soi. The pad thai was fragrant and on the sweeter side which I like. I also liked the fresh raw bean sprouts on the side. The khao soi was curry noodles with tender beef and crispy egg noodles. The curry was very flavourful with a hint of heat and sweetness. This was also my first time trying curry noodles at a Thai restaurant. The green curry was filled with bamboo shoots, peppers, and a good amount of chicken. The flavour from the bamboo shoots really comes through as well. For the crab fried rice, it came with a spicy sauce and pickled vegetables. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough to go around so I didn't get a chance to get a good taste of it with the rice. However, I scooped some curry sauce from the khao soi onto the crab friend rice and it was delicious! Finally, we tried the mango sticky rice and my goodness, it was so pretty! The rice was warm and sweet which paired beautifully with the slightly tart mango. I'll definitely have to come back to have more of the khao soi noodles!
