Stopped by Sliders Burgers on a Saturday evening. Theres approximately 8 tables and a countertop area. There was no wait, just a few people dining in, and the gentleman who took our order was really nice and welcoming. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger in a lettuce wrap and the Cali Dreamer lettuce wrap, plus sweet potato fries and a cup of chili. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The service was quick -- our burgers came out in about 10 minutes, which was great. Easy, friendly, and satisfying. I'd definitely return for another quick, tasty meal.

My son and I checked out Sliders Burgers where I hadn't been to for many years. There are a variety of patties you can order. I like that they have six oz. to 12 oz. beef patties. They also have wagyu beef and exotic patties like lamb, elk, bison, ostrich, turkey, wild boar, salmon and even impossible burgers to choose from. Tons of appetizers. I like that you can add your own condiments and produce to your burger or even to your chicken sandwich or hot dog. Service was great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It had a very retro atmosphere and I loved the burger mural on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't notice it when I walked in at first, but as I walked out I saw that they have a fish bowl with a couple of goldfish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My oldest son saw this place online last week and asked if we could try it. I'm a burger fan so of course I agreed. When you order your burger, it's only patty, buns, and add-ons. Once you get your burger, there is a separate place that you can add all your veggies and extra toppings as well as different sauces. This was a good idea so you can add as much or as little of the veggies as you desire. Most of the burgers, they ask how you want it cooked which is great since I don't like my patties cooke well. My older son order the beefalo burger which contains one beef patty and one wagyu patty. He had his burger made medium rare. He didn't add any veggies or condiments. His burger was juicy and tasted really good as is. His burger came with fries and both my boys were fighting for the fries. They said it was crisp. My youngest son built his own burger and opted for the wagyu burger with American cheese. He had his cooked medium rare and did not put any veggies or condiments either. His patty was pretty thick and was juicy but he said that it was a little salty. He still liked the burger. I ordered the ostrich burger and added pepper jack cheese with mushrooms. This is my first time having ostrich meat. The ostrich patty was cooked medium and I can definitely taste the difference between beef. The texture was tough and not juicy but tasted really good. I did not know which condiments to put that goes with the burger so I put the secret sauce. The mushroom was very flavorful and tender. If you like mushrooms, I highly recommend adding it to your burger. They have a good amount of sauces so you will have to experiment to see which goes well with you burger. The staff were very helpful and nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating arrangement is more for party of 2-4 ppl.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you like burgers and like to try different meats, this is a good place to try.

Got the Wagyu burger with provolone and mushrooms. Ordered as combo which included fountain drinks and fries but I upgraded to onion rings for an extra $1.60. Total cost was about $25. Regular burger, non Wagyu, is available. The Wagyu meat was soft but didn't have that beefy buttery taste. The onion rings were good . Crispy thin batter enveloping a ring of sweet crunchy onion. Perfectly deep fried. They have a condiment bar with so many sauces and variety of add ons for the burger.

I came here one evening after wanting to eat a burger. I ordered the beast burger and the mushroom Swiss burger which both come with fries. The beast burger is a 1/2 pound patty mixed with elk, bison, wagyu, and wild boar with pepper jack cheese on top. The mushroom Swiss burger came with 1/2 pound beef patty with Swiss cheese and sautéed mushrooms. The patties were both under salted but you could adjust and modified your seasonings by adding seasonings or use their condiment bar. The condiment bar had various burger toppings you can customize from tomatoes, to lettuce to pickles to black olives. Then there's various sauces you can add like their secret sauce and ketchup. Everything is reasonably priced, decently affordable. Staff were nice and helpful. I like that they have different types of meats you can try, so will be back.

Good burger! The bun was pretty soggy for all of us even though we dined in but the flavors were great and I love love love the condiments bar! As a huge onion and sauce fan, the condiments were a dream!! I loved the pickled (marinated?) jalapeños Wings were just OK and fries were good. Bison was pretty gamey.

I really like how they made the burgers here especially when we can choose condiments and toppings we can add to our burgers. There are rarely any restaurants that have selections of toppings and condiments. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only issue with this restaurant is that the place seems to be outdated since everything here looks old and that it doesn't seem that it has been renovated for years.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of the staff was very nice to us. Anyways, I would still come back here to try other items from the menu despite how outdated the place looks.

I would suggest looking at the menu ahead of time if you're anything like me and feel pressured to order fast. They have a good variety/selection of burger choices as well as the option to "build your own". You start off by choosing your burger size (6-10oz). They also have great side options, I would just check because some of their menu burgers already come with fries (I missed that when ordering). Our group had a good mix of food choices, the reviews shared were as follows: Salmon burger: 5 stars. It was devoured and just the right size. Cheeseburgers: so good! You can add things like avocado, bacon etc. Elk burger: "juicy and good taste". Hot dog: "yummy" Chicken wings: crispy and moist. Great taste! Onion rings and fries were FIRE. The sweet potato fries were okay.

It's an absolute yes from me! They have so many different options for food. Right when we walked in we were greeted by the workers. They were so kind and so patient as we read through all of the food. We both got burgers, one with a side of fried zucchinis and the other with sweet potato fries. The burgers come out plain and they have a condiments bar with sauces and other toppings. I personally LOVED the sautéed jalapeños. It was a game changer! I appreciated being able to build the burger of my dreams with having the toppings readily available for me to put on. The burger patties are thick and super filling. Parking isn't too bad and there's a bathroom in the back. Overall, would recommend for a good, juicy, thick burger.

I was coming home from dinner. My friends are vegans, so we had vegetables, though everything was really good, but I knew I was going to be hungry later. So on my way back, I stopped here for a burger. They came up as one of the best places to have one. They close at 10, and I got there around 9:30. Me: Can I get food to go? He: Sure, come on in! I ordered the Rodeo but I should've ordered the Big Messy. I was looking forward to a bacon cheeseburger. However, that Rodeo was sooooo goood! Came with some nice crispy fries. The staff is really nice! They have a small dining room but it works. My only issue was being hassled by this homeless guy outside. This is no fault of Sliders, but it can be a little scary for people. Other than that. solid place to come to and again, that burger was really good! Next time it's the Big Messy for me!!!

Just finished my first experience eating at Sliders Burger in San Jose, and I'm going to give a mixed bag of a review. We chose the restaurant based on a recommendation from our neighbour, when we asked who had the best burger in San Jose. I told the recommending person that I was looking for a place to get a big juicy burger at a venue who is actually willing to cook a burger medium rare, and had high quality ingredients. Here are my thoughts... Food quality: Great. Full points in this regard. High quality produce, option for wagyu beef (which I spent the $7 extra to get). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere: So-so. Like many diners it's 50s themed[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Staff: Very friendly, very personable. Came and checked on us during our meal, even though it's a "order at the counter and seat yourself" experience. Always appreciated. Food Prep/Cooking: This is where I wasn't sure if I should even give a 4, and was tempted to go down to a 3. I ordered a 20-something dollar burger, medium rare, and specified that I wanted it pink. It got cooked medium to medium-well. Pretty wasteful and disappointing for such great quality meat. My fiancé ordered her standard burger medium, and it came out juicy, beautiful, and pink inside - what I wanted mine to be. Sides: Had the fries, and they are delicious. Overall, would have called this a 3.5, but I can't rate with that scale of granularity. Between everything, we paid around $75 for 2 Modelos, a Mexican coke, my wagyu beef swiss mushroom burger, and her standard burger. Will I come back and have it again? I will. Would I run out to my friends and tell them how awesome it is? Nah, but I wouldn't talk anyone out of it either. Give it a try, see for yourself. But, the ability to cook a burger to order is a big determining factor for me, personally, when it comes to a high end burger joint, which Sliders Burger definitely aims to be.

This place is really good!! 19 years in business and tonight I found out why. I ordered a bacon avocado burger medium well. The register guy was friendly and even broke a hundred dollar bill for me. They offer a small discount on your bill if you pay in cash. I received a buzzer and took a seat. There are a few tables inside, plenty of seating and a TV. In as much time as it takes to cook a burger medium well, my buzzer went off. They have a station where you get to decorate your burger however you want. This little table kept all the toppings super fresh. I grabbed pickles and onion for my burger and a side of special sauce. This burger was cooked perfectly, had great flavor, the toppings were fresh, the bun was toasted... what more do you want? Will definitely be back when in the area.

Immaculate, the beef taste so good. The fries are those extra crispy ones that are breaded, soo good, I'm a fry girl and these are fire. Onion rings crunchy and slice on bite, so onion is cooked right. Heard good reviews so I tried it out. Had a 10oz burger with cheese. Burger was over cooked and dry. Just a very small piece of cheese on it. Pretty much none existent. Onion rings were good. Not much flavor to them. read more

Believe it or not, they serve beer. They also have a TV that they play sports games on. And an open condiment-bar, all the pickle slices you could want. I was also pretty impressed with the original oil painting of a football huddle (calm down, it's not a Vernon Davis). The bathroom was out-of-order, so minus one star for that. The burger was actually pretty good though. Like, a notch or two above five-guys. read more

What an adorable little place! It's your "order at the counter" type with a "build your own burger" vibe. I like that not only do you have a choice of meats (including bison) but also sizes! There is a topping bar to customize further. The service was super friendly and I had like fun ordering which sounds weird. I know. But the person taking my order infected me with joy. Ok ok. I had a lot of joy coming in cause I was excited about getting a really good burger. Definitely didn't disappoint. Burger was juicy and well seasoned. The fries were fluffy inside and crunchy out *and* hot. And came out in maybe 10 minutes! So good. I didn't feel rushed to finish my burger to avoid the dreaded Cold Fry. I'm not a huge fan of TVs on in restaurants especially if I can't escape the noise. And especially if it's on news. We need breaks. We really do. I *did* enjoy the historical pictures on the wall though. So cool learning about the buildings I see around downtown San Jose. Saw postings of Sliders Burgers on ig. The food & variety looked very appealing so I made my way down there to try it out. I have to say this place does it right! Ordered the Messy Burger, onion rings, & chili cheese fries. The patties were beefy & juicy, the cheese was melty, the fries were crispy, & the onion rings were perfectly battered with a light crunch. It was all good! I will definitely be back to try the many other items on their menu. read more

I was craving a burger and am still on the hunt for good mom and pop burger joints not chain and decided to give this place a try due to the reviews. The Asian guy at the front most likely owner was really nice and I told him it's my first time here and he explained how it worked. I could add my own toppings and dressing from the condiment/veggie bar. They have gloves that you can use for Covid protocols. I ordered the beef burger and bison burger with cheese, grilled onions, and bacon. Quality of the burger is only so so. It was really dry. Perhaps I should've requested for medium well. I can tell that this place gets many regulars but I just wasn't a fan. It wasn't exceptional and I paid $36 for two burgers and a chili cheese fries and sweet potato fries. I probably won't be back. Maybe it was an off day. read more

Sliders Burgers is one of those places you always want to go when you think of burgers. They have nailed the traditional "house burger" and helped to enhance it with so many choices and options. An absolute treat to burger-lovers, which I'd like to assume is all of us here. Upon entering, you are greeted by familiar faces if you've been there. Raymond (I believe was his name) always greets you from his grill with a smile and a welcome in. Some people are just naturally acquired with the skills to properly make the customer feel like they are coming into one's home. More of a relationship is expressed this way as opposed to the one conversation with the McDonalds employee who looks overly depressed when ordering your McRib, then forgets the rib part of the sandwich. Come on man it's in the name how'd you even do that. Jokes aside, the menu is laden with so many different toppers. If you truly wanted to see the process, the chefs are right there with cooking in front of you. The portions are very large here, which makes it worth the price. All of the produce looked crisp and fresh when we last were in there, making lettuce on my burger a must! The gently crisp buns were also something that caught my surprise last being there. August 28, 2001 - We stopped in for a late lunch. The bison burger was absolutely delicious as were the onion rings. The fried chicken sandwich is actually a fried chicken patty and it was OK (nothing special). There are plenty of toppings and lots of upgrades as well. read more

After ready a review many years ago I decided to check-it out. I should mention that I live in Sunnyvale and often travel several miles to have a meal at places I like. So the time and distance does not matter to me. Sliders Burger is located on the northern side of West San Carlos, maybe about 1 - 2 miless east of the 880 interchange. There are several similar burger locations in the area (Freddies - Menlo Park & Juicy Burger - South San Jose), but Sliders Burgers has become my favorite over the years. unlike the fast food places your burger or any other like item is not prepared until have you order and pay, so you will have a bit of a wait I suggest you check their website, https://www.clover.com/online-ordering/sliders-burgers-san-jose, and click on "Order for Takeout" to see the different types of burgers they have to offer. Freddies and Juicy Burger may only offer one or two types of burger meat other tahn hamburger. They also offer several other sides in addition to fries and onion rings. I have always gotten the fries, in my opion are the best fries. They well prepared, crisp and still warm until I ate the last one. I need to try their onion rings. I ordered a regular 8oz hamburger (no cheese) meal which included fries and a fountain soft drink, which cost me about $16.50 (estimated). There are several add-ons that you pay extra for. Once yoiu get your burger or other type of sandwich there is a condiment bar with many selections to finish constructing sandwich. It should be noted that you do not need a conctruction permit to build your sandwich. Check out the Yelp photos that others have posted over the years. Next time I need to try a hot dog and maybe the onion rings. I grew up in the Buffalo, NY area where you could get a hot dog that has split or ripped with a charred skin. I have yet to find a place in the local area that will grill their hot dogsto the way I prefer, even after I show then a picture. So I have a feeling Sliders Burger will prepar my hot dog the way I like it. If so I will post a picture of the hot dog and onion rings. Take and enjoy your meal. read more

Usually go for a bacon cheeseburger but this last time i decided to get the Italian Chicken Sandwich...Oh. Em. Gee! It was delicious! Got the marinara on the side because it was a to-go order and didn't want the bread to get soggy. Always delicious and the customer service is always on point! read more

My new favorite place! I went in on a whim because I was craving a grilled cheese sandwich and I was not disappointed. The sandwich was toasted perfectly, and the melted cheese was perfect. Literally I know this is just bread and cheese but I love it soooo... The fries are also delicious! The manager and the guy working were really nice and helpful. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area or craving burgers and sandwiches. Go Sliders!! read more

It's been a while since I had a burger that was not from the beloved California fast food chain with a name that rhymes with shminnenout. So I decided to visit what looked to be a hole in the wall. Aside from beef patties, they offer wild game, so I got the bison burger. You can also request how you'd like your burger cooked. Rare please. The burger itself is served on a toasted brioche bun, and you can add cooked condiments at an additional charge. But my favorite part about this place is the self serve condiment bar; which includes all the standard burger toppings and sauces, ranging from lettuce all the way to pineapples. This alone will have me coming back as I can customize my burger every trip. Onto the burger itself. Simply delicious. The bison is lean but still juicy, with a slight aftertaste... not really sure how to describe it..but it's good! The rest is really up to you on how you want to dress up your burger. I like it simple: lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, thousand island, relish, and jalapeño. Bomb. You can make it a combo (fries+drink) for 5 bucks extra. Fries were thick but crispy, good amount of potato in each straw but not super starchy like steak fries. Perfect IMO. Where restaurants nowadays are built on elaborate menu offerings and social media influenced aesthetics (not that these are bad!) Sliders offers us a chance to spend a moment in time where things were much simpler, by way of burger and fries. I will definitely be back. read more

I ordered some sides. Onion Rings, Zucchini and Chicken Fingers. All three food items I ordered were very very Greasy! The Zucchini was from a frozen box they weren't fresh and the zucchini was mushy and very soggy, Same with the Onion rings very greasy and not fresh! The oil all of my food was fried in was old and dirty!! I smelled nasty grease all the way home. All the food was hot but just nasty and greasy! I'll never ever go there again nor refer them to anyone! Not even a DOG! A dog couldn't eat this greasy food!! I love my Dog and myself never again!! Please clean your grease !!! read more

First time eating here and was introduced by a friend. Got the Mushroom Swiss burger and it was divine. The patty was savory and thick. It was a true and genuine fresh burger. They even had their own toppings and sauce bar for after your burger gets made. And don't get me started on their garlic fries and their sweet potato fries. Both were cooked to nice crisp perfection and they didn't skimp on the garlic, sauce and parmesan cheese on top of the garlic fries. I'm happy I got introduced to this nice hole-in-the-wall spot, and I hope to come again when I'm back in the South Bay Area. read more

This place is amazing. The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I got a bacon cheese burger with a side of chili cheese fries. The fries were super crispy and the chili has a mild kick to it. The burger was super juicy and I love the fact that there is a condiment bar. There are places I am never going to tell you about because they are perfect the way they are and I don't want them becoming foodie Disneyland. I thought for a minute about including Sliders Burgers on that list, but you really should try it. For what it is, a neighborhood mostly locals burger joint, it is as good as it gets. There may be better burgers out there, there are certainly more flashy establishments, but Sliders gets it done. The place is small, but the limited number of two-tops can be reconfigured and moved about the place to accommodate even decent sized groups. Although the menu is pretty simple, the options and variations provide something for everyone, even a gardenburger for plant killers. They don't have every topping imaginable on the condiment bar, but there are enough unique ones to make it interesting. The beverage chiller only has a few choices, but there's cold beer so hey, who could really want for more? Although it's in their name, they don't have sliders. They offer burgers in two sizes: 6oz and 8oz. They have options other than beef, even salmon if that's your thing, but I'm probably always going to have the 8oz beef burger with bacon, swiss and a fried egg. Fries on the side. Cold beer. I always go solo, because I just want to spend quality time with this burger, clear my head and fill my belly. Works every time. This is a neighborhood place, with neighborhood types. The vibe is kind and relaxed. I like that. It's not that people couldn't make the drive from a faraway place to try this excellent burger, because they certainly could, and they would probably like it too, but it's just a straight up, dead-center in the middle lane, exactly what a traditional burger should be type of place. No Markys or Donnies or whatever makes a place all hype. Sliders doesn't need that. When you're this good people get it. I ate here at 1PM today. It's 9PM. I'm still full. Skipped dinner. Can't wait to go back. Kind of sorry I put the word out. read more

I had the basic 6 ounce burger with cheese, plus a side of onion rings. It takes about 10 minutes to prepare each burger. The burger was good, juicy enough with some seasoning. They season it while grilling. The onion rings were nice and crunchy and a good portion. Not beer battered. Next to In-N-Out burgers Sliders Burgers is my second choice and I've been here so many times I've lost count. The owner is so polite and friendly which makes this place a real bargain and getting alot more for the price he charges. Came in right after lunch and order three pieces of chicken tenders and a root beer float. He's a man in charge as a chef, cashier and server all roll up in one. Feels right updating my review seven years after my first visit/initial review, especially now that we're living in this COVID world. So they're still open and serving up delicious food! It's takeout along with a table outside for those who can't wait to get home to eat their food. I get it, I've been there. We called in an order for takeout and it was ready to roll 15-ish minutes later. 2 cheeseburgers plus a side of chili cheese fries and onion rings. You choose your burger toppings from a sort of salad bar setup. Everything was solid, though their chili cheese fries are probably our favorite thing to get there. Only regret is not asking for the burgers medium rare, but that's on me. Always happy to support local shops like this! read more

We found a hidden gem here! It's been around for over 15 years and I wonder how I missed it. We were greeted and welcomed by very friendly staff. Since this was our first visit, she explained our choices. The burger meat selection is VERY GOOD! And VERY TASTY!! Wanted good old-fashioned hamburgers and this place came up in my search, so based on the reviews, I gave it a shot. I was so glad that I did and the reviews were true, this place hidden and I have passed this place many times and would never have stopped based on looking this place from the outside. We got the rodeo and the messy burger and onion rings. The onion rings were the real deal battered onions rings, so I suggest you do not wait to eat this later. Eat them when they are nice. We ordered ahead and picked our food and did check out their condiment selections, which is why I kicked myself after I left for not thinking to get ketchup and thinking that we would wait like civilized people to eat when we got home, but the fries and onion rings was calling our names in the car and we did not think to pack ketchup since we thought we could make it back home before we would open the bag. If you were looking for real burgers that are not greasy, not preformed, not frozen patties, then this is the place. Even their fries are delicious. It was pricey, but so this fast food places nowadays, but this place was worth the quality to get a real burger without the frills. read more

Grossly understaffed. Not the place to go if you want a quick bite. Anything larger than a party of 4 and you'll be there awhile. The chili is good but you don't get much for what you pay. I expect a much higher level of professionalism from an establishment like Blossom & Bourbon. There's a time and place for joking around, but not loudly in front of paying customers who are trying to enjoy a meal with their families. A manager sets the tone for the entire restaurant, and unfortunately this manager set the wrong one. Sadly, I would not recommend bringing your family here, especially if you have children, if this is the kind of atmosphere that's considered acceptable. It was very disappointing, and I truly hope ownership addresses it because both the employees and customers deserve better.

Another build your own burger place, however this restaurant offers ostrich and bison burgers! A healthier alternative to your beef burgers. It's located in a run down plaza off San Carlos. We entered and an older Asian gentlemen assisted us. He was friendly and took our order with haste, chatted it up with him for a bit and found out his son goes to school with me at UCI, but that's besides the point. The decor isn't all that nice, we just watched the news on the television most of the time while standing close to the fans, it was damn hot in there, wish they had a/c. My friend, Thien H., brought me out here, I had the ostrich and he had the bison. Their condiment bar was endless, they had all kinds of stuff, I ended up drowning my burger with sauces and veggies...however most of the condiments I wanted had an additional cost like bacon, avocado, grilled onions, mushrooms, etc. The ostrich was a little dry for me and didn't taste very good, but the bison was very tasty. I just wanted to check the place out because they had burgers I've never had before If I'd go again, I'd go for the bison. read more

THE BEST BURGERS EVER!! If I want a good burger, this is my spot! My family's been going here about 7 years now and the food NEVER disappoints. My burger is always cooked to perfection. I always have my burger with a fried egg, avocado, and bacon on a whole wheat bun...because whole wheat is healthy... HAHA! When I get my burger, I hit up the condiment bar, which is always clean and stocked with fresh sliced veggies and pickled goodies. I love pea sprouts on my burger!! The owners are awesome gents and always make sure their customers are happy with their food. I've been wanting to try this place but got no time to drop and wait because they always had lots of buyers. Last day, i was lucky enough to be their first customer of the day. I ordered their inexpensive bacon cheeseburger and WOW! It was so delicious. The bacon, egg, veges and other toppings as well as their sweet potato fries were very good. The buns were good and the patty was perfectly cook. I almost forgot that I am on diet. HA! Small place but clean. I also bought 2 mushroom cheeseburger for my family and they loved it. Sliders is literally a hidden gem of a eating establishment, you have to know where it is to find it, because the sign is hidden behind a tree. Maybe an A-frame sidewalk board would help some. The food is normal and the food is exotic. On the normal they serve beef burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, fish and chips, and shakes. On the exotic they offer Ostrich meat, Elk and Bison burgers, and Salmon burgers. I had the salmon burger, and it was a big hit, I loaded up with the fixings from the fixings bar, so I got my favorite add on avocado for free. I will come back when I am adventurous to try the buffalo. read more

Ordered some food from this place a few days ago with some friends, and the food was absolutely amazing!!!! I got the 8oz beef burger with Cheese, Bacon, and Grilled onions. The cool thing about this place is that you get to choose whatever toppings you want for your burger and put them on your burger yourself. So if you don't like certain things on your burger then you don't have to get them on it or have to take it out of your burger later! We also ordered regular fries and 1 order of Chili Cheese fries, which were actually amazing!!! I'd highly recommend people try this place out if you haven't before!! read more

I love this place. I haven't been there in a while and just looking on Yelp, makes me want to go eat there again. I love the Bison Burger and this is the only place around that I know that sells it. I know that some people will get turned off by having to put on your own toppings, but it doesn't bug me one bit. The burgers are good and tasty, the fries are excellent, the toppings are always fresh even late in the day, and the price is very reasonable. I've been spoiled by Sliders and can't ever go eat fast food burgers any more because this place rocks. read more

My my my, once again steered wrong by Yelpers. This says alot. Seriously. Allow me to retort. This is NO Big Kahuna burger. In fact these burgers are down right blasphemy! I seem to be constantly amazed at the lack of quality and taste that people reviewing on this site contain. Apparently it is vast and endeared, yet obviously can not be taken for gospel. You will need plenty of tasty beverages to wash down these dry jerky patties! I would rather waste my money on a Royale with cheese from the McDonalds. At least it's juicy. read more

Was here a few weeks ago, and I thought the burger was okay. I had the 8 oz burger and asked to cook it medium rare. It was cooked on the medium side. I was a little disappointed since 3/4 of meat was dry until the other 1/4 was perfect on the medium rare. I like the fact that you get to put on your own toppings. The price is reasonable and the ambience is like a hole in the wall type of place.; it's not bad thing. I've always liked to eat at places that are hole in the wall. I would come back and try the 8 oz wild boar burger. read more

This is a burger joint that is worth the drive.... even though I did not drive my brother did. I met the owner name Rey very nice guy. He described the different types of meat there are, and in the end me and my brother chose the Bison burger combo. The concept is like juicy burger, if anyone has been there before. But what do they have that is special PINEAPPLES that made my burger very sweet and delicious. total cost for everything about 25$ flat. two Bison burger combo's Hot wings. definitely will come back again. read more

Who's heard of a BISON burger? It's a lean, mean, healthy red meat. You'd think it would be dry and crusty...but OHHH contraire, my friends, the boss cooked ours to perfection. Some pink and really really juicy. You create your burger to your liking at the condiments bar. There's pineapple chunk, whole olives, sprouts, and all the other regular fixings. We were having a good ole time watching Family Guy and The Office while chowing down on our bison burgers and sweet 'tato fries. yum yum...drool drool. read more

DELICIOUS burgers, fries, and everything else on their menu. They have great quality food for the best prices, and their twists on burgers make this lady go wild. Secretly, I love to order their kids corndog since it's the BEST 'dog I've ever had, but I feel no shame. The restaurant itself is clean and the workers are regularly quite friendly. OK, I know my burgers and these people can make a solid buger! This burger was cooked to perfection. LOVED IT! I liked the condiment bar but think they could add to it a bit more (thus the minus one star). I would LOVE to see a cheese sauce (like Fuddrucker's has) here. Hint hint! This could be changed to 5 stars! Seriously, this place is a little dive like, but great friendly customer service and very good food. Huge portions too! Top 10 places for a burger in San Jose easily. Burgers have been delicious each time, Last time I was here I tried the bison burger, it was really good, I had a bite of the ostrich burger it was petty good too. You can tell that they use good products for their burger. Price is definitely worth it, the location is okay, with the medical marijuana store right next door, you get some characters hanging out right outside. Will recommend and will definitely be back for more. read more
