I have been going to this location since they opened years ago. The service is always friendly. I've gone through the drive thru and the stalls. I have not used the restroom here. It's outside along the exterior wall like a gas station. The stalls work wonderfully. Just push the red button, place your order and roller skating expeditors bring out your food. With a drink menu that's amazing with over 1,000,000 drink combinations, toy cannot go wrong. I used to get a breakfast sandwich that was awesome. I love their chicken sandwiches and the corn dogs are good in a pinch. I like their mozzarella sticks too. Download the app you get specials regularly. There's a happy hour with half off all drinks everyday 2-4 PM. This is when I visit typically. The absolute best thing however is the ice! Sonic had iconic crushed ice... its awesome! I am not exaggerating, this was truly the worst experience I have ever had at any fast food establishment. The drive thru line was 10 cars deep at least on Friday afternoon (back past the end of the stalls). Knowing that would take an abysmally long time, I decided to go inside instead. Having worked at a drive thru before, I thought maybe I'd get served quicker and be doing the employees a favor by not backing up their drive thru even more. That proved to be wrong. Going inside still resulted in a 17 minute wait to get my food from the moment I placed my order. That's on top of an additional 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me after I pressed the red button on the machine. It's unfortunate when sonic offers, dirty drinks, and even on social media those dirty drinks can be customized, but I've gone here two times the first time very knowledgeable workers. That's why the one star, but you lost the rest of the stars for the service that I received today I was mocked by one worker, and then I put in my order and they have no clue what a dirty drink is. I can't believe I've experienced that today you know I'm 59 years old and these kids that are getting hired or not fully trained obviously in customer service or they don't care there's no management around, but the other person mocked me I could hear her through the microphone she repeated my order in a whiny voice. When I was finally next in line they shut off the lights due to it being 1am. When I pulled up to the box, they acted like I wasn't there. My friend wanted to come here because she said it was National Hot Dog day (it wasn't), so we met up here after work yesterday. I've only been to the Sonic location a few times in Vegas, which was pretty good from what I remember, but that was about 10 years ago! It's cool how all the employees wear roller blades...even the cashier. My friend was taking a long time to order and the guy behind the counter was super patient and friendly. He told us that breakfast is served all day, in case we felt like having something from that menu. I decided to get the American dog and 4 piece chicken strips. My friend got the same dog and combo with double bacon cheeseburger, tator tots, and a strawberry lemonade. Our order came out so fast! They actually forgot to add bacon in the burger, so they made us a new one. The hot dog was okay and burger was better, but the chicken strips were the best. They were made with big pieces of white meat and covered with a nice coating of crunchy batter. We ate inside and it was pretty empty until we were about to leave. I like how the space open to the patio so you can enjoy the fresh air. This place is know for their drive-in, so I think most people order that way and eat in their cars. read more

I gave in to the hype, and I was horribly dissatisfied. Ever see a fat kid pout when you take away their sweets? That's the disappointed level i'm at right now. First and foremost, I came in here to grab a quick bite to eat at 6:30am, before I went to work. There was only one car in front of me and it still took a hot minute to get my order. I was confused, but whatever. The food: by god I had no idea what to expect. I got the breakfast toaster because it sounded like a "well rounded" unhealthy meal option at the time, with a medium green iced tea. When I got to work I was slightly horrified at what i saw. The toaster sandwich was soggy and it appeared to be soaked in grease. UGH. (see pictures) I decided i'd give it the one bite test to be sure. It was not good at all! The sausage patty was cold, the eggs were overcooked and completely flavorless and the bread that was meant to hold everything together just kinda fell apart. Needless to say, it failed the test. And though my receipt reflected the correct order of green iced tea, I received unsweetened regular iced tea instead. *fat kid pout face* The only thing that I have to say about this place is that the service is great. For the most part, everyone is smiling and despite being up at ungodly hours of the morning, they seem friendly enough. Overall however, i'm just not into it. The girl who took the order over the intercom was DUMB. We had to repeat every single item 2-3 times because she keeps repeating the wrong items. Friend who did a separate order ALSO had the same issue. Friend: "I'd like one order of number 8" Her: "ok one order of number 7" Friend: "no, one order of number 8" Her: "ok one order of number 8" In person: "here is your order of number 9" Friend: "I ordered a number 8" In person: "oh, what did I say? 2?" *speechless* Really?! We came here on a Wednesday night for their 1/2 off shakes after 8pm deal. This was my first time ever going to Sonic and I was excited because I heard that their milkshakes were good and that they came out on roller skates. It was super empty inside the restaurant but the drive through line was pretty long. We ordered an Orange Slush and a Hot Fudge Shake. The slush tasted like flat Fanta and it was pretty melted by the time we got it. I would have preferred it to be less sweet and less watery. The shake was basically a vanilla shake. I didn't taste any hot fudge at it at all. The vanilla tasted super artificial and chalky -- like store bought frosting that had been melted down and mixed into milk. Overall, I was pretty disappointed by this place. I expected the shakes to be so much better than they were for some reason. I expected frothy, thick, and rich milkshakes but what we received was so much worse. The servers coming out on roller skates is a cute touch and I like how this place is a nod toward the American history of fast food, but other than that -- this is a disappointing place. I do not know how it is possible but every time I come here my order is messed up (fries instead of tots, wrong drink, wrong food, overcharged during happy hour). This happens even when I walk in. I'm not sure how the cashiers consistently overcharge me.... It's irritating. As much as I like their drinks, I wont be back because its just too frustrating. I've tried most of the food items on the menu (burger, hotdog, fries, tots, chicken) and it's all pretty meh. I would come here for the experience if you haven't been before but def. don't come here for the food. Maybe if you need some drunken munchies if you drank at the bar next door. The ice cream slush is the best item they have. I wish they offered the same flavors they do online or were willing to mix flavors. Finally made it out to Sonic after the initial hype... I had a few hours to kill before last night's Yelp Elite bacchanalia, and since I had gotten an email from the chain about a BOGO for their regular hot dogs (and I wanted to have something in my stomach before getting my drink on), here I was. I ordered the Chicago Dog and New York Dog, as well as a medium order of Chili Cheese Tots and a medium Diet Dr. Pepper with a shot of sugar-free mango flavor. To be honest, while I liked the Chicago Dog a bit better than the New York Dog (due to the overall ingredient blend of pickle and pepper toppings), I was underwhelmed by the size of the dogs themselves. I guess I was expecting them to be more... beefier. The Chili Cheese Tots were pretty good, though, and my drink was refreshing enough (wonder if Sonic does free refills?). I'm not used to the whole carhop concept, but I was surprised at how much I relaxed while chilling in my parked ride and grooving to the in-house music station. However - would it kill Sonic to have napkins with your order? Mine was pretty messy, and I had napkins in my car already, but one would think that having napkins packaged with the customers' orders would be the norm. Still, despite the somewhat pricy food, Sonic isn't that bad. I really should try one of those milkshakes sometime. read more

First time at this Sonic before. We decided to go inside instead of eat in the car. I am not a big beef hotdog eater, however I will!l eat turkey or veggie dogs. That was the first thing I asked when I went in & she told me know only beef. So I went with popcorn chicken with onion rings as my side; sides to pick from were fries, tater tots, onion rings and some pepper poppers. Also burgers, sandwiches and breakfast items, shakes and slushies galore. The popcorn chicken were tasty. Not overcooked or hard when biten into just the right amount of crispy to chicken. Also the onion rings Wow! humongous! Not kidding the first onion ring I pulled out was wide enough to fit around my wrist lol! Wish I had taken a picture. I finally Sonic'd the other day. My order was the standard burger combo, but what's that you say, Tater Tots instead of fries? Oh yes, let's do that ! The burger was fine, but enclosed by a bit too much tasteless bun. The Tots were heavenly ! Oh, and they sell Coke, not those other pretend colas. Yes, I love Coke. The business model wants me to sit outside in my car, but I wanted to stretch a bit, so I walked inside. It's an acoustic nightmare in there, all six surfaces hard and reflective, so I ate on the patio instead. My order was glided out to me by an attractive female on roller skates. At this point, I honestly believe every Sonic just has a crappy overall rating on Yelp. Sonic is "fast food," and fast food places tend to get really low ratings anyway, so I guess this is appropriate. I think Sonic is much better than typical fast food establishments, though. I've never had any painful, or even minimally bad visits to any Sonic, so I guess I'm just lucky. In comparison to the other Sonic's, I believe this is one of the only ones that actually offers inside seating. The rest of them just have the drive-ins and drive-thrus. Personally, I like sitting in my car and eating when it comes to Sonic because the experience of it--I feel like that's how you should eat at Sonic. For this particular visit, I was with three other people and we were ordering for 7 people, so we had to go inside. The cashier was nice, she was kinda just going with the flow of our indecisiveness. The people who are on rollerblades giving the food were nice and patient, also. It wasn't impeccable customer service, but it sufficed. The food was good! The discrepancy between a small and a medium drink is insane, so just pay that extra $.65 or whatever it is for a medium. I still hate how little onion rings they give. Sometimes they give really big ones, but there are 4-5. I'd rather get more medium ones. Anyway, I'd definitely come back. read more

First time at this location. We pulled into the drive up. The place was packed, we had to circle back to grab the spot of someone pulling out. We ordered at the screen & the wait time was not bad. It's y'all a tad long. A good brought out our shake, limeade, sandwiches, tots. It's covid season so she was wearing a mask & gloves along with the usual skates. We realized after the fact that they'd forgotten the mustard for the corn dog. We buzzed them from our screen but 15 min later that mustard hadn't arrived so we had to get out & knock on the door & they had to hand it to us. Sonic is normally one of my go - to fast food places. In fact tonight we cave going for a really good burger. However... Pressed the button to order... SEVERAL minutes later someone responded. My order was taken and everything seemed fine. However... After a wait that I would have complained about at a sit - down restaurant our order came out. But it was WRONG. On both burgers, I ordered no pickle no onion no lettuce no tomato add bacon. They got the tomato and lettuce right but nothing else. Asked the carhop for ranch when I paid, and when she came back she had no ranch but that the ranch would be in the bag with the new burgers. It wasn't. When we finally got the new burgers they still were not quite correct but we ate them anyway. In summary, they're having a horrible afternoon. These last few times that I've come to try whatever new item is being offered, the quality has always been subpar and disappointing, and today has been the worst. Not only was the quality of the food poor yet again, but they couldn't even bag a simple order correctly. So, now my friend and I are both at our own places with each other's sandwich. Is it really that hard to match the items in a combo correctly? Overall, the customer service itself was kinda okay, but not really decent.
