I ordered from Sotta numerous times during the Covid, but yesterday was my first time dining here. I was very impressed with not only the quality of the food (which I expected from my take-out experiences), but the friendly staff and the overall vibe of the place. My chicken skewer plate (dark meat) was tender and perfectly spiced. This came with two sides. I opted for the grilled veggies and the greek salad. Both sides were flavorful and very nice. We also ordered the lentil soup and sweet potato fries, which were also excellent. Prices are very good for Burbank, BTW. On today's menu, we have 6 items but I forgot to take a picture of the chocolate chip, which was one of the 3 items out of 6 that were good. 1) carrot cake square: we will start on a good note. Nice cake texture and amazing cream cheese frosting. I would get this again. 4.5/5 2) oreo cheesecake: This one was interesting because at first bite, you taste watered cream cheese but then as you bite more into the center, all the flavors start waking up. 3/5 3) red velvet cupcake: horrible texture and extremely thick frosting. Reminded me of a store bought red velvet cupcake but I have had my share from Ralphs to Pavilions and those are miles better. 2/5 4) chocolate cake: horrible texture and horrible chocolate flavor. 1/5 5) oatmeal cookie: not my favorite texture of cookie but I really loved the oatmeal flavor. Last night a group of friends and I order dinner from there to be picked up. First thing we notice is they don't show there prices unless you show your credit card and pay $1.00. Then when we searched the Internet for the price, we found prices but everywhere we look they were different prices. Up to $4.00 differences on items. My order was the falafel wrap, I misunderstood because I thought it came with french fries but no, the french fries were in it and it said it came with tahini sauce, which I never got the guy even said I put extra tahini in the bag when we picked it up they're was none . The worst wrap I ever had, I didn't even finish half of it, $16. Wasted. 4 of the girls had to pay $4 more for there items then they thought. Plus the guy was not very nice when we picked it up. The food is GOOD here. All of the kebabs and proteins were cooked beautifully. They were crisp on the outside and tender/moist on the inside. A good amount of us ordered the dark chicken meat kebob plates, one ordered the shawarma plate, and one ordered a salmon arugula salad. I cleaned my plate effortlessly because everything was good. I had my plate with salad (instead of rice), with grilled veggies and babaganoush. Everything was fresh, the portions were great and the pricing was super reasonable. It's a place where you order at the counter, grab a number, and they bring you your orders. Since it was a bday, we ordered some cocktails, but were super underwhelmed by them. At $14 per cocktail, I would expect them to be more alcoholic, but they were basic at best. I had the guava margarita and didn't taste any guava or margarita. My friend had the espressotini and it looked cute with the little bits of espresso beans on top, but it tasted more like a watered down espresso with cream. Wonderful spot found in the valley with great service, food, and nice seating. You need to order when you enter the restaurant. There is food, coffee, and pastries to choose from. The kebab plate was delicious in which it was very well seasoned not overcooked and the rice also was very tasty. I ended with coffee and dessert which was a perfect ending. Dined in and ordered in 5+ times. My typical order is the big Chicken Shwarma Wrap with a side of sweet potato fries, tomato soup, or mixed salad. I have tried their Babaganoush as a side before and it was okay. I just didn't enjoy the taste as it tasted bland compared to other Babaganoush I have tried. The Lentil soup tastes okay too but nothing spectacular. I have also tried their Falalfel and again it was subpar. I think Sotta shines with their kebab meat options. I would adjust my review to 5 stars if their service and food quality becomes more consistent. The sweet potato fries have been served flat and soggy (not crispy at all) twice and they have repeatedly forgotten a side of mixed pasta salad more than once. We didn't have the best experience at our usual go-to Mediterranean place in Burbank, so we decided to take a chance on somewhere new. Sotta popped up so we gave it a shot. There's a small parking lot in the back but SUVs took it over so we parked on the street (thankfully there's ample spaces but read the parking signs first). It's an order at the counter and seat yourself kind of place. They have a large indoor seating area that wraps around the ordering/pick-up counter. It was packed but we managed to grab a little table on the side. Some people like to splay out & hog up space so we had to think thin until both people behind us left. It seems like ordering to go is your best bet if you eat from here. We ordered the boneless chicken kabob and falafel veggie plate. Both cost about $17 but the portions were on the small side. The food itself was adequate at best so we definitely wouldn't have ventured out of our way had we known beforehand. Self-serve water station is by the door. They play bland alternative music on the speakers. Overall Sotta is kinda buns, so if you like your food bland come on down. Truth be told, you can get more tasty bang for your buck elsewhere. The filet migon plate was great, the meat was really tender! The falafel veggie plate was great very filling! The grilled veggie is the best addition to the plate. Recommending adding it to any plate. The hummus was really good as well mixed with the falafel. The sautéed mushroom was okay def would change it out for another item. Overall really good! My family and I love eating at Sotta for many reasons. The food is amazingly delicious and fresh! I love getting their salmon either with rice or with salad. The ambiance is very chill and the staff are very friendly and helpful - very good vibes! The coffee & beverage bar is excellent - our fave is the Spanish latte, Cardamom Rose Latte and the Chamomile Tea. They also offer a variety of desserts! My fave so far is their Boston Cream Pie. Parents and I had dinner here. You order at the counter, get a number, and food appears when ready. I ordered the falafel veggie plate with sides of babaganoush and sweet potato fries (~19 dollar meal). Serving size was very appropriate for the money spent. It was about two meals worth of food for me (yay leftovers) and everything was fairly good. The babaganoush was probably my favorite; the flavor and consistency was perfect. Sweet potato fries were nailed, crisp outside soft (and warm) inside -- not soggy at all. The veggies were a bit dry for me, although they did taste good. The falafel flavor was good but a crispier outside would have made them perfect. I also tried their ceremonial nekohama matcha with coconut milk. I do wish the 8oz was either a bit cheaper or I got more for the same price, but the tea was good and I have no complaints there. Staff were super friendly and awesome. I really liked the ambiance of the place. Service was also fast despite being fairly busy on a Friday night. Totally will come again and sample more of the menu. read more

One of the best casual spots for a Mediterranean wrap. I thought their menu looked similar to Sidewalk Grill in Los Feliz. Turns out that's their sister restaurant. The food at SOTTA tastes better to me and is kept cleaner than Sidewalk Grill. I would recommend the bbq chicken wrap or the chicken gyro. I was on a work trip and found this place on yelp. When I came into the restaurant, I was greeted by staff. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken. The salad had romaine lettuce, mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, Persian cucumber, pickled red onion, olives, garbanzo beans,feta with champagne vinaigrette. The salad was delicious and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The dressing is a great addition with the salad and the condiments came all together.
