This sandwich shop seems to be lost in the midst of a rather busy shopping center, but don't let that dissuade you from coming here: The sandwiches are good, ample in size, and generous in portions. We ordered up a $10 8" turkey pastrami sandwich on sourdough, with a southwest salad. Get the sandwich hot - it really brings out the taste of the sourdough. Every works together, it's a very tasty sandwich and decently sized. A little pricey but at least the thing was good. Real good actually. The star is definitely their bread. A side clam chowder - it was good. "It was good" is my husband's description when I asked him to tell me how it was. So, guess I will try them sometime, maybe? I have been looking for a good sandwich place and Sourdough & Co seems to be a solid place for that! I got a turkey sandwich on their signature sourdough bread and it was yummy, filling, and satisfying! They have a good amount of toppings so customizing the right sandwich for you is easy. The ordering process is a little confusing, but the person who I was ordering with walked me though it, answered any questions I had, and was patient the whole time. Likely from the lettuce which tasted like it was pulled out of a water bath. My bites were wet and it just kept dripping out the bottom. This was my 1st time trying out Sourdough & Co. The ordering is pretty straight forward, the workers were friendly, the sandwiches were ok. Just basic sandwiches on sourdough, like the name indicates. There's really nothing to go out of the way for here. You have to order and pay 1st. However, the CC receipt asks for a tip and there's a tip jar next to the register. So giving a tip was not going to happen, since I hadn't even tasted the sandwich yet. It's unfortunate that companies like this continue to think the customers should pre-tip before ever experiencing the service or the food. The pastrami wasn't too salty, and the buttery bread wasn't too thick. It was a perfect ratio. And a perfect portion for me, too. The wait didn't take too long (about 7 minutes or so), mainly because of the people ahead of us. We thought the sandwich was outstanding. The bread's crust was nice and crispy from being freshly baked and the inner part of the bread was soft. Unlike one of our favorite local sandwich places whose sourdough roll is like an exercise for your teeth and jaws, S&C's sourdough was PERFECT in every sense. My least favorite out of the 3 we've been to. My bread was so OVER heated, it cut my gums a little when I bit into my sandwich. I also don't think they put any sauce on my sandwich. I got a 4inch roast beef with a cup of mac and cheese and my friend got a clam chowder with a garlic pesto turkey. The sandwiches were good, i will say the bread was nicely toasted but the meat and cheese inside the sandwich were cold, i would've preferred it was toasted with the meat and cheese, then the veggies added afterwards. i would rate the sandwich a 3.5/10, but the soup and mac and cheese are a different story.
