So My family and I decided to try this place since it has good reviews, I must say I'm disappointed at the food and service, the waitress was lost, we had to repeat our drink order several times since she kept getting the order wrong, she seemed confused for some reason(my brother thinks she was high) then she described the whole fish dish as a grilled fish but when it came out it was deep fried, when we asked her about it she just said "Ohh I meant to say fried", WTF!!!! It made a big difference!!!! Not that the fish wasn't good but we rather grilled than deep fried. The gratuity was included in a party of 5 and it was not posted anywhere! Now to the food side, we had a ceviche clásico, it was over cooked and had a fishy taste, not impress; the aji de gallina was bland and tough; the tacu tacu especial was really good, the meat was tender and had good flavor; the fried snapper was taste, not what we wanted but I must say it wasn't bad. Again, food is TOP NOTCH and only thing i would add is that they take a long time making it, this type of food in a small restaurant simply cannot be ALREADY PREPARED because it would not taste the same. THey have to make it on the spot and food takes a bit to be prepared, so order some ceviche in teh mean time and have a good time. I'd like to take credit for keeping this place open. I tell everyone about it. Every Tuesday and Thursday there is all you can eat ceviche complete with maiz quemado and regular, onions, and sweet potato. The ceviche is available in 3 flavors: classic, verde, or rojo. They are all delicious but my favorite is the ceviche verde. The restaurant is small but the servers are friendly and attentive. The food is so flavorful, very authentic. I visit at least twice a month. The plaza is a little bit of a mess right now because they are renovating it but the restaurant is still open. Lastly, they don't allow the combination of specials so if you are doing the all you can eat ceviche buffet then they will not allow you to use the yelp check-in offer or the bottle of free champagne on your birthday. read more

This place is fantastic! From the service to the food. You cant go wrong with anything you order. Amongst the best Seafood dishes ive ever tasted by far! I had the "Ceviche Clasico" which was delish! We also ordered their Calamari appetizer which was pretty big portion and was super fresh! All the food is fresh and made to order. They also give you peruvian roasted corn to snack on while you wait for your food. For dessert we ordered Picarones and alfajores which were great! Overall great experience. Good place for a"date night" since its a more semi formal type environment. Highly recommend if you love seafood and want to have a great time! Seats were sticky, I specifically asked the waitress to not add something to my take home meal, she added it.. She charged me a 18% tip after I gave her my Groupon. There was no tip added when I originally received my charges. I guess she thought I was only going to tip on the discounted amount. We ordered ceviche as an appetizer and can't wait to come back and order this. My girlfriend had pescado a lo macho which was amazing. I had the Jalea mixto which is my favorite. They charge extra $5 if you want to upgrade the fish to Mahi Mahi or Corvina. We went with the Mahi Mahi and it was very good. The taste and spicy was right there in point. We only tried three items, but all were excellent! We started with the only cocktail on the menu, the traditional Pisco Sour, which is what I would have ordered anyway.  It was very good, but an ok value at $8. We then had the "Classic Ceviche", upgraded with Corvina instead of the standard Swai, for an extra $5 ($18 total). Well worth it, and among the best ceviche I have ever had in South Florida. Then we shared another Peruvian classic, the Lomo Saltado, but also upgraded from the regular version by the inclusion of Quinoa. This dish was also among best I have ever had, if not THE best (the tenderloin was oh so 'tender'!).  However, the portion size is not too generous, so sharing is not recommended unless  sharing other dishes as well.  5 stars for food quality 4 stars for ambiance 3 stars for service 4 star average Overall a great meal at a fair price. The service we received was some of the poorest I've ever had at a restaurant. The owners are doing themselves a disservice by offering a Groupon. With the gratuity being included, I felt like the servers looked at us as more of an inconvenience to them and had no reason to give any type of customer service. Please take the Groupon down or communicate to your servers that Groupon is an avenue to market your business and get repeat customers and that customer service is a top priority. Now that there's a Ceviche 105 at Aventura Mall and Sr Ceviches customer service is hit or miss, there's not much reason to go here. read more

Service in the restaurant is horrible, you sit at a table and no one comes over to you so I got up and left. I went over to their other restaurant Pollos y Parillas, sat down there and was ignored for about 15 minutes until the table next to me who was waiting for 10 minutes for a condiment that accompanies her meal, said something to the owners father. Then I finally got service. Mind you there were only 3 tables including myself that were occupied. The ONLY reason I go to either location is for the ceviche mixto, it is excellent. So to avoid being ignored, I just do take out. And even then when they say the order is ready in 15 minutes it is more like 30 minutes. Oh and none of the wait staff or the person answering the phone speak english, so if you do not speak spanish good luck. Such a shame because this place could be 100 times better if they trained their wait staff to put the customer first and hired english speaking employees. The owner should bring in a company to train new management along with new BILINGUAL wait staff that focuses on true customer service as a priority. read more

Nice little restaurant, very clean and the service is quick and very friendly. I came to this place about 3 to 4 times. The ceviches are ok. But almost all the other plates are not as good. The worst part of this place is the owner, he mistreats his employees really bad in front of the costumer (I saw this a few times) and this time again, actually it was so bad that I have to change tables so I won't be seating next to the owner and see and hear the mistreatment of his employees.
