Really great food for people who have been drinking and/or want to drink. I came with a couple other friends on a Saturday night and waited for probably 40 minutes to get seated. There are a lot of large parties who come for drinks and comforting Korean bar food. The fish cake soup was perfectly warm and spicy, and a good amount of fish cakes for sharing. The seafood pancake was different than any other I've had and I wish it was a little more crispy with squid instead of crab, but it was still really delicious. The pork/tofu and kimchi was a good balance of fermented spicy kimchi, tender pork and unseasoned tofu. All in all it's a place I'd recommend for large groups, as the food portions are decently large and alcohol is a little pricy. read more

Food order, dine in, March 2023 (11 people): Plain chicken wings - 9/10 - on par with OB bear! Wooohooo! Spicy wings - 9/10 - Also on par with OB bear but can also opt for the sauce on the side if the group would prefer to dip. Seasame leaf & jalapeño Korean meatball pancake - 10/10 - better than OB bear because the meatball isn't just one bog meatball, it's crumbled in big pieces, more juicy and tender, and the pancake it's self is the perfect ratio of egg to meat. Kimchi fried rice - 6.5/10 - meh. Good filler. Runny egg was good but nothing special. Still a staple item and would reorder for a big group. Spicy octopus with noodles - 8/10 - good flavor but wish there was more octopus. Love that the noodles were really thin and th noodle portion was large. Seafood pancake - 7/10 - Not as good as OB bear. I like that were a lot of veggies but it is on the thicker side so the middle doesn't get as crispy. The outside pieces were better because they were crispy. This pancake is massive though. Receipt was for 11 people (8m, 3f) with 3 bottles of Macallan and we had the table for ~4.5hrs. I've been here a couple times to catch up with friends+family & both times were so much fun with great service that I had to leave a review! I forgot our servers name but he was so friendly & gracious. They even changed the channel to a football game we were watching without any hesitation which is always appreciated. Came here with some friends who used to be fans of OB bear before it burned down (I've never been) to try their fried chicken! Even though we were there for the fried chicken, I think the star of the show was definitely for stir-fried squid for me! We got it with a side of somyum noodle and it came together perfectly with the sauce. I loved the texture and the flavor! It wasn't too spicy (except if you bit into a jalapeño) and the flavor wasn't too powerful with the addition of the noodles. We got the chicken with the sauce on the side, but unfortunately they ran out of sauce the night we were there so they offered us Tabasco, ranch, other other sauces they had in the kitchen. That was very nice of them, but I want to try the sauce next time! Service is pretty fast, but we went on a Sunday night and they were pretty empty. Instead, I would come here with a big group for drinks and snacks. I ordered the small intestine dish and my friend the spicy pork. The servings are enormous, so it made sense why they were sort of pricy. We also shared a nice cocktail before and some soju. I enjoyed my dish for the first few bites, but it was too fatty for me to eat in one sitting. Instead it would have been best shared with a group. My friends dish was tasty, but beware it is pretty spicy. I maybe would have enjoyed the dishes in small quantities but since this was a restaurant catered to big groups it maybe wasn't the right moment for me to eat here. Eh, I wouldn't recommend. Went here for some food with friends who lived in Ktown and I'd overall skip. We got the seafood pancake, spam and fried eggs, some fried chicken and steamed shrimp. My friends and I went there on a rainy night and had a great experience. The "outdoor dining" experience is fully coverd and had heat lamps everywhere. The venue was incredibly clean, the bathrooms were clean, the service was incredibly fast and kind, parking was easy, and the best part...was the food! There was about a 5minute wait for my group of 3 but larger groups had longer wait times. i know this place is primarily known for their karaoke but wanted to try some food and drinks. started off with the Raspberry Piña. i couldn't really taste any raspberry and just coconut mix. tasted like a premix you can buy from the store and barely had booze. definitely not worth $17! i'm an idiot who loves making dumb decisions and getting nachos at a korean spot was high on my list of dumb decisions i wanted to make. i really deserve to pay over $16 for these nachos you could probably whip up at home for a combined $4 lol. despite all my sh*t talking, they tasted all right. the small fried chicken wasn't exactly what i was expecting. Came to celebrate a friends 21'st birthday. The vibe and ambiance of the place is very nice although I do have som quarrels 1. They do not check ID at the door despite it being 21+ and wait till you're at the table. My boyfriend forgot his wallet at home and had to leave to get it. He had already ordered a drink but we live 25 minutes away. They brought his blended drink despite him leaving and got mad when I asked them to send it back (he wasn't going to be back in time to enjoy it? Why let it melt at the table) It's obviously a bar but they charge for water bottles (which to me is a red flag) Food was pretty tasty and good. I usually don't venture into LA/Korea town often due to traffic, but my friends wanted to go Star Night for some food and drinks. The exterior of Star Night is pretty cool, it's very hip looking and it has a small parking lot. However it's Valet only. The valets are friendly and pretty quick at getting you your car, they are also experienced as well. When I valeted my DCT BMW M4, they knew how to stop the car because there is no "park" selector. The interior of the place is dimly lit with strategically placed lighting. It has a very nice ambiance and it mixes interior and exterior very well. It's really clean as well. The service here is quick and friendly. They came by and checked up on our table fairly and the food came out fairly quickly. We asked for lemons and they had really juicy lemons. They were like the size of an orange. The food here was good. We ordered the beef from the grilled menu and it came with the salad. I'm usually not a salad person but the salad was amazing. The beef was no slouch either. I'm not a huge spicy person but the ddukbokki was good too. Overall the interior is very nice, exterior had a nice design, service is treat, however I do not like how it's valet only. The food is good and the vibes are great, but the service here is just incredibly rude. This is coming from a Chinese person used to "rushed" service. We asked kindly to be seated next to our friends, who were already there, at an open table. We were told there was a wait. We put our name down and our name is called less than 1 minute later. We ask again if we can sit at the empty table. They say no because our party is smaller than 6 people (but they seated us at the exact same table size, just farther away). Also, there were 3-people parties seated at the "big party" side. So it seemed like they were just making up excuses. When we asked why we could not just sit near our friends, and not even combine tables, we were called hostile. The waitress was literally arguing w us when we tried to ask nicely and she said stuff like "why didn't you guys come together then?" "If it's his birthday why aren't you celebrating with him why did you come separately?" It came off as super invasive and over the top for just a simple request. They told us they couldn't do it because everyone else would want to sit next to their friends. What would be the harm in just sitting at a table next to friends?! We were not asking to combine tables or make a commotion, we were just asking to sit near our friends so we could pass around shared drinks and food. They finally relented after our other party came over and explained that we can split the parties 6-6. They were rude throughout the night and slammed food and drinks on the table. Then, the waitress accused my friend of not paying the bill and yelled at my friend to give her the card when it was inside the receipt pocket all along; she just didn't look in the card slot. I get that these waiters are understaffed and probably stressed but it didn't warrant yelling at the customers and calling us hostile when we just wanted to see if we could compromise. Overall, I've had good experiences here before, but this is the rudest service I have ever experienced in my life. I did not feel treated like a human and it felt like the waiters immediately clocked us as "hostile" and malicious as soon as we walked in, even though we abided by all of their requests and tried to ask in a nice manner (before the waitress started arguing and asking us invasive questions). I saw another party try to grab an extra chair for their table and then the waiter literally snatched it out of their hand. I don't think I'll be coming back to this place. read more

This is the spot if you don't want to have a crazy night out at the club or lounge. This Korean bar is solid and you will have plenty of fun- there's even karaoke! Think of Ddong Go but more "lit" and younger crowd. And this place is seriously underrated, makes me sad that I just discovered it.. Service here is top notch- my group and I were given everything within minutes when we asked, and despite it being Saturday night, the waiters were constantly taking care of us and checking up on us every few minutes. The interior is really nice as well and they have nice outdoor seating- it looks like someone's backyard. I honestly really like it, it's so pretty inside! Wish I could give them more stars but my family found this place to be "just ok". We ordered their combination A, mentioned in many reviews- while the presentation was impressive, the beef was a little tough to chew and some of the chicken was so dry that no one could eat it. No complaints on the service side - every waiter/waitress was attentive. Ambiance is very nice and very spacious - if you're looking for a place that you don't need to wait at dinner hours, this is it!! They have their own parking lot, which is a great plus. That sure is strange given that we got kicked out for sitting 8 to one table last night bc their max is "supposedly 7." Already visited this place twice and it didn't disappoint! I love the vibe and also the amazing food to go along with your soju & beer. We can spend a good 4-5 hours here with all the food and alcohol! The food is SO good, perfect for eating with all the alcohol. It's super easy to get reservations and I went with a party of 7 and was seated promptly. The interior is super great with a semi-indoor patio with heat lamps -- it feels so much classier than some of the other KTown joints! It has tasty food with large portions and $5 soju bottles -- we got the spicy rice cake, cheese corn, and kimchi pancake to share and all of them were super tasty! BEST SPICY CHICKEN FEET IN KTOWN. My dad loves spicy chicken feet so I grew up eating it as well. In fact, I have pictures of when I was a baby in a high chair gnawing at chicken feet. Start 'em young, they say... Anyways, all that to say, we know our spicy chicken feet. And this place has THE best spicy chicken feet in all of Ktown! Unlike other disappointing places where the chicken feet come boiled with a watery sauce, the spicy chicken feet here are grilled and the sauce is finger-licking good! It comes very close to how our favorite restaurant in the motherland prepares it.
