I think that when you review chains like this it all comes down to two things: continuity and service. I am not a Starbucks zombie, actually I just started drinking the stuff quite recently because someone said soda is bad for you. 8P While this gets great marks on the continuity of their product (Hey, it tasted like burnt coffee, so kudos!) the customer service was very good. On our visit, we went here every morning. That would be about 4 mornings we went here, so not enough to know our names, but plenty of other customers came in and the employees knew them. Another plus for this place was that it wasn't too busy in the morning. The parking in the area is a bit tight, but you should be able to find a space. read more

Who doesn't love a good Starbucks?? Love this place! Relaxing atmosphere, staff is friendly- especially one loud dude who's on a super positive high all the time (not complaining, just nice to see someone enjoy life, lol). Anyway, I always stop in for my chai multiple times a week. Lately I've been going for the iced green teas & even tried a couple of their new fizzy drinks, which aren't bad. Chai hot or blended w/whip is always my go-to drink though & never disappoints! Only 14 drinks away from Starbucks Gold member status on the app... This Starbucks is definitely a hit or miss. First time I came they made my drink great and gave it to me in a timely manner. Second time I come and I order a pumpkin spice latte. So very excited because it recently came back to menu. The employee looked like he was over it and wanted to go home which I understand because it was 30min till closing. However, I didn't expect my drink to be a flop. I could taste the pumpkin spice a little but the espresso overcame it. I also expected my drink to have whip cream and when I got home and opened the lid there was none!! Was really bummed out. Definitely not worth my five dollars. I do love this location! They have my Decaf coffee, and I'm talking about already brewed not a pour over or Americano! One day I was in and added money to my card, and left my debit card and later in the day when I realized it was missing, I came back and they had it, and I was so thankful! And a plus ever since that happened when I come in, they say my name and Good Morning! That happened about a month 1/2 ago I've been meaning to give this review and just kept forgetting, but today sitting here on Halloween in this very Starbucks, I thought it was a good time! This happened a few days ago but I'm getting caught up in life. Was walking in to grab a few drinks that I mobile ordered and saw a young lady figuring out how to pick up her drink since she obviously didn't have a face covering. (Disclaimer. This is not about the pro/con face covering dilemma). I had mine on since stores require them. I thought of offering to the young lady if I could grab something for her but figured I would be taken as some old perv. As she walked in the Starbucks employee greeted her and I and very politely asked the young lady if she didn't have a face covering. She said no and to my surprise the employee said she had one for her. She grabs a bag and hands it to her and says sweetly to walk out and put it on and come back in. Kudos Starbucks. Rather than berate this young lady or refuse service you accommodated her so professionally it blew my away. Small gesture, huge ramifications. To both of the young ladies you both are awesome. Questioned me relentlessly on my order choice and still got it wrong. Would not recommend.

My family and I are in love with Katie. My kids beg to go see her on the weekends and my husband always laughs and she is the sweetest person to me. But there was an uncomfortable night a month ago where she was alone behind the counter and had just helped my family and I. A man came in with no mask and blatantly refused to comply. This incredible young woman calmed him down when he was aggressively insulting her and she responded with such compassion. Im not joking when I say he yelled profanities at her, called her unattractive in cruel ways, and insulted her intelligence and bombarding her because she kindly asked him to wear a mask. Before my husband could get the man to stop attackign her, Katie simply asked him about his day and asked if it was hard for him. She managed to listen to him and console him on the day he was having while silently reassuring us in the corner and making sure we were okay and comfortable. She even gave us cards and the couple behind the man drinks on the house because of the mans outburst. She listened and reassured him and told him that she was a friend to him and that hes important to just the neighborhood barista, so he should imagine how important he is to everyone else in his life. He wore the mask she offered and thanked her profusely for it. My husband gave him a stern talking to outside because of the monstrous things he yelled at this beautiful person and he apologized. She managed to be the most empathetic and purely kind person Ive ever met and gave him the ability to apologize and leave feeling heard and important to her. If anyone would call me foul names and degrade my intelligence and looks I would NOT care to console him and tell him everything was going to be okay. What a beautiful person. I feel blessed to have met her, and I don't exaggerate that in shallow compliments. She's an angel and a blessing to anyone who came in contact with her. I wish the rest of the staff follow in her footsteps. The morning people have too much going on and clearly are stressed out constantly and one older woman with short hair snaps at customers every once in awhile. Wish the morning people were nicer. Katie deserves a lot of praise and gratitude for all she brings to her job on a daily basis and we are deeply saddened shes leaving for school like she told us. She has a beautiful heart, cares deeply for everyone, and I feel deeply moved and impacted by seeing her face such ugliness with a full heart to a bully. I wish more people were like this because shes a rare kind of beautiful with a golden pure heart. read more

This Starbucks used to be decent...but in the past two months of frequenting this establishment, the drinks have been delivered below standard. More times than not, they've given us the wrong drink. When made correctly, they tasted really unfamiliar...and when asked to be made again, the same person usually remakes the drink, which again, tastes horrible. read more

I always do mobile ordering through different Starbucks locations and have never had a problem until today. I ordered my coffee and showed up almost 20 minutes later and it wasn't finished. The barista explained that she had spilled it the first time and they were having to make a new one. I went back to wait in my car for five minutes and came back to my coffee abandoned in the middle of being made (it was literally just a large coffee with half and half). Meanwhile every other person that had gone in, waited in line, and ordered a drink already had their drinks in hand in the five minutes I had been waiting. At this point I was late taking my child to an appointment and told them to just forget it. I'm not sure if they just prioritize customers that are there over their mobile order customers but I have never had this happen ordering on mobile anywhere else. A complete waste of time and money for 25 minutes of waiting for a simple coffee. read more

This is got 2 b the worst Starbucks in OC, they never make anything right, all drinks watery & gross, if it wasn't next 2 my house I would NEVER come here!!! Can they please re-train the baristas, well first start by re-training the manager, because she doesn't have a clue, I'm standing waiting 4 them 2 re-make my drink 4 the second time after I drove back from home, because that's how much they suck, again making my drink WRONG, third time this week, I think someone needs to get fired. I come here every day, the staff here is my favorite of any Starbucks in the area. Always fast and friendly service! The line can get long in the morning of course but it does move quickly. If you order online using the starbucks app you can skip the line and go straight to pickup. The other yelpers aren't messing around when they say that this starbucks is their favorite location. This location has AMPLE seating. A lot of people were getting some work done and doing some leisurely reading, with tables and chairs to spare. Not to mention, the space is kept decently clean. The layout is quite favorable as well, with half of the coffee shop designated for seating and the other half for the drink making - both divided by a wall. Besides that, I was delightfully surprised by the pleasant nature of the barista on duty. I wish I caught his name, but he has a well-groomed mustache. Anyway, after a few sour experiences from my local starbucks on Antonio & Oso, I have little to no expectations for baristas at any starbucks or other coffee shops. It's just always sweet when a worker exceeds your expectations with a good attitude and doesn't make you feel bad about your order. So, there's that. Love this location! My venti light ice vanilla chai latte w/ 4 pumps of cinnamon dulce and 4 pumps of vanilla was delicious. One of the best concoctions of my all time favorite. read more

Being a college student I spend a lot of my time in coffee shops. Because of the location this Starbucks has become a go to place for me. Their service isn't the best and some of the staff don't know their drink menu HOWEVER when their drinks are made they are really good. There is always someplace to sit because they have tons of seating. They keep their place at 50 degrees (literally it's always super super cold inside) so bring a sweater. Not the best not the worst - but serves its purpose. read more

Hard working employees you can tell. They aren't the quickest team but they are genuine and have good customer service. Just not the most ideal location if you happen to be running behind schedule! If you have nowhere to be then 5 star location. :-) love the coffee cake and fruit/yogurt plate. If you get deserts in the am they usually give you incentive for returning back in the afternoon. I have to say, this is one of the best Starbucks I have been to in a long time. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and most importantly on a workday morning -- they're FAST! One morning, I did a mobile order and when I got there I realized I had picked the wrong location (it's on the same street but up a short ways). When I asked a barista to confirm that I had indeed made a mistake, she told me not to worry about it, and they made my order for free. I was blown away by the service and my drink was done in no time! The only error they have made, is they put the wrong pastry in the bag, and I noticed it when I got to my car. I went inside and asked for the right pastry, which the barista was glad to do, but from what I could hear it sounded like the other barista who filled the order didn't agree that an error had been made? I'm not sure, it was a little awkward hearing the exchange - after all a coffee cake looks nothing like a croissant, but what do I know. I was given the corrected item in quick fashion and I was on my way. I look forward to coming to this location again! read more

This is one of the three "near home" starbuckes Although it's slightly further than the other two, it's the one I like to go to the most. Their staff is very friendly and polite. Their pastry cabinet is always full (they always have my danish) and the line moves quickly. The parking here isn't that great, so expect to walk a little if you are there during the rush hour. read more

This Starbucks is right next to my gym and I love it! The entire team is really friendly and they definitely go above and beyond to build that relationship with the customer. Not only is the customer service great, but the store is always really clean, which is extremely important for the customer experience. Being a store manager myself I am always very aware of customer service and the conditions of a store and normally it falls bellow my standards, but this location exceeds my expectations as a customer and as a store manager, it makes me want to hire them all to work for me. I LOVE this Starbucks! The baristas are friendly and welcoming, my drink is always perfect and the store has a nice seating area. I move every couple years and searching out the nearest Starbucks is one of the first tasks in my new place. I had a few locations to choose from this time, but found this one to have the best service and food/drink quality. I was surprised to read a couple of bad reviews and am thinking maybe it was an off day, a new barista, or perhaps the reviewer was experiencing a reflection of their own attitude. read more

I come to this SB just because the staff is always friendly to see. Rarely ever write yelp reviews but the staff makes me so happy here, felt the need to give them recognition. Can't name just one staff member, as they are all super nice, funny, quick, efficient, knowledgeable. I can come here at 6 am or at 9 pm, and never once heard a staff member complain about working there. The manager is super nice and even though he might try not show it, he is very very attentive to his staff and customers. Drive a little extra just to come to this location.
