Drove thru on a Sunday morning. There was no wait in the drive thru so no reason to rush their customers. I ordered two items, a sweet vanilla cold brew and a sourdough grilled cheese. I wanted to order more, but the batista was super rude. She kept on asking if there was anything more I needed (like over and over). I panicked because I couldn't find what I usually order. I knew immediately that the coffee wasn't right by the color. The coffee tasted like tap water and had zero sweetness or coffee taste in it. I think they forgot to add the sweetners. Awful. The grilled cheese also wasn't as good as it usually is. I was able to get a refund when I reached out to customer service, but I will definitely not be back to this location. read more

I live half a block away, so this is my home store. I want to love it. I want to keep coming back. The coffee is good. The food is good. The team is always polite when I interact with them. But there is a pattern here that has become impossible to ignore. Every time I visit this location, it moves at a pace that feels disrespectfully slow. I am not someone who pulls in during a rush and expects magic. I go when I actually have time. I know the difference between a busy moment and a store that struggles with speed every single day. Yesterday was a perfect example. I pulled into the drive through at 10:08 in the morning. There were only two cars in front of me. One ordered a single drink, the other ordered two. There was no food involved. I received my drink at 10:19. I sat in my car for eleven full minutes for one coffee while two simple orders were ahead of me. That timing is not an outlier for this location. It has been consistent every visit. For context, I'm in fine dining. My team puts out full fine dining appetizers in six minutes maximum, in a fully packed restaurant. I am not expecting that from a coffee shop. But an eleven minute wait for four drinks is far outside what is reasonable for any store that wants to keep customers. Because of this, I often choose other places like Provision, Window, Dutch, or Lux, even though your store is right around the corner. It does not have to be this way. I want to support the team here. I want this to be my regular spot. But the speed has become a barrier that pushes me elsewhere even when I would rather stay loyal to this location. The ambiance is okay. I am reaching out because I believe managers care about the guest experience and the reputation of the store. I am hoping this helps bring awareness to something that can absolutely be fixed. I have had great service here, but the quality of the drinks is not there. My last coffee was weak and Lukewarm. I have ordered a couple of vanilla lattes, and they taste like they are using coffee instead of espresso, like vanilla milk with a dash of coffee. I am not sure what is going on, but I have never had such inconsistency at a Starbucks before. This is time number 3 for me, so I will choose other locations. read more

Ordered from the mobile app. Coffee and a grilled cheese on sourdough. Got there, they told me they were out of the sourdough sandwiches. Didn't offer me another item, just gave me a card worth $4 (he told me he put $5 on it!) for a $7.55 sandwich. I assumed the card was for my trouble and the sandwich cost would be credited back to my account. But nope! I went to a different store, and had to pay AGAIN for the sandwich (with a $4 discount from the card). This Starbucks wasn't too busy when I got here. It was a sweltering high of 112 that day, and I really needed something to cool off after walking around. I also wanted some sort of herbal tea. Looking at the menu, the comfort wellness tea looked intriguing but it's usually served hot. The barista was kind enough to make an iced version which was refreshing and very comforting at the same time! I liked the blend of different herbs and spices together. For your reference this tea has: Ginger, orange peel, chamomile, lemon verbena, spearmint, rooibos, licorice root, fennel, peppermint, orange oil, lemon essence oil Seating was plentiful and comfy. There are tables, soft leather chairs with ottomans, and the vibe was relaxed. Overall it was a nice little place to get a drink and chill for a bit. read more

The experience with this store alone makes me never want to go back to a Starbucks. I have never had a good experience coming to this Starbucks (but have had good experiences with other locations). They change their hours what seems like daily. They posted a paper sign on their door with their new hours of 1230-7pm, when it says they are open on yelp/Apple Maps/google. On our visit we stopped to grab a coffee before our drive home to San Diego. Cashier was beautiful and very welcoming, great customer service. The barista that made our coffee may have been having a bad day or may not like her job. My daughter grabbed the wrong coffee (her other name is Taylor - the label said Taylor) the barista in braids said "you know that's not yours? But you can have it it was a mistake." Ok thank you. When I asked if white mocha was added to my coffee, she was rude. When my daughter asked for extra caramel, she was rude. Word of advice, when people spend their hard earned money on a specific way they like their coffee don't be rude. My husband and I spent almost $40 on coffees and two sandwiches, our coffee was terrible. Instead of asking to fix it we walked away because this young lady was too rude. Be blessed you have a job. Wow what a refreshing experience we just had at this Starbucks store. The customer service was top notch. Every time someone walked in they were greeted and every time someone left they were told thank you and to have a good day. Never in all the years that I have been going to many different Starbucks stores have I seen or heard that. We walked in and were greeted by all 3 ladies that were behind the counter. We stopped to look at the bags of coffee and cups when one of the ladies came around the counter and asked if we needed help with anything. This blew our minds. We went to the counter to order our coffee and everyone was so friendly and cheerful. We got our normal and it was made quickly and correctly. We sat down for a few minutes and nothing changed, they continued to greet everyone and take very good care of everyone. For having only 6 cars ahead of me in line it took 30 minutes for me to finally get to the window. I normally go to a different location but this one was more convenient or so I thought. I ordered a drink I get all the time and do not have any issues or any other Starbucks. Generally not even at this one because I have been to this particular location and ordered before. However this time when I ordered my regular order it seemed difficult to even get it right. Then when I got to the window I noticed there wasn't really any milk added. I asked for more & it came back the same. I was told I'd be charged for me. This time he'd give me some in a cup to add lol which again wasn't anything. He said normally an extra splash is literally a little splash. I'd be charged for anything more next time. Why would I want to go back for a next time? Beyond disappointed. Huge interior with lots of seating. Love the big comfy chairs (all eight of them) with the reading lights. Currently, the best selection of Starbucks drinkware that is on sale (after Christmas) that I've seen anywhere in the area. However, when I asked what the size of a particular copper-looking mug was, the cashier had no clue. He did call over the barista who made an educated guess. I wanted my driver to find a parking spot so I can get this price fixed. But I had to be somewhere else, and I'm not going let this First World Problems Ruin my whole day. Coffee is on point, service is fast and friendly. One barista (I think named Honey(?)) is always a Dear, friendly, attentive, and a wizard at mixing up tasty caffeinated beverages. Overall disappointing visit to this Starbucks. I placed a mobile order and when I came in only half of my items were waiting for me. When I asked about the other items the very disinterested barista told me I could go and grab them myself. When I asked for a bag to carry my items in she looked very out out, found a bag and tossed it to me. Apparently I was looking a little lost trying to find my other items when another barista, maybe the manager or lead told me she would get my items. Unfortunately all they had were overripe bananas so I was given a coupon for next time. This barista's service is the only reason I have 2 stars. And finally when I got to work and prepared to eat my oatmeal they out way too much water in it so I have oatmeal soup. I have multiple Starbucks locations available to me in the mornings and I will probably skip this one for awhile. read more

I go to this location often as I frequent a yoga studio in the same shopping center. This is not the first time I've felt the employees were standoffish, but after my experience today I had to write a review. I ordered two large pink drinks with light ice. The barista (female with short dark hair) turned to the man making the drinks and said "Make sure you put extra ice in that pink drink." Thinking she was referring to my order, I politely said, "Oh, I said light ice." She turned to me and said, "That's for a different one. I know how to do my job. Thanks!" ... I was shocked! I was super nice to her and I guess she must have been having a bad day, but still- not an excuse to be rude/passive aggressive to me. I would call and voice my concern but I'm not sure if she's a manager there- I've seen her there before. I felt super uncomfortable and not sure I'll go there anymore, or at least as often. It's just after 4:30 a.m. and I have so much work today. My whole family is sleeping and I don't want to disturb everyone with video conferencing, etc. Luckily this location is open early and ready with coffee and a calm, quiet, welcoming place to get things done Just a few in and out stragglers and a steady line at drive thru makes this spot the perfect destination for productivity right now. In fact the only thing I can think of that might make it even better on this cold Arizona morning is a toasty warm fire place. Seating inside is spacious and there are lots of different choices which is extra appealing. Bistro tables, lounge chairs, booth type areas and a long table are versatile for accommodating lots of different people but for now I practically have the place to myself while I plug-in then login and get in an early morning call with team on the east coast. Bonus: the music at this location is mellow and coffee house cozy so it doesn't dominate my thoughts or the atmosphere. Much appreciated in this moment! read more

There's plenty of spots. 2) Lots of space to sit and/or study. I have been here on multiple Saturdays/Sundays and have been able to find a little table and /or seat for myself.
