I had earned enough stars in the Starbucks app, so I didn't need to spend a dime at all. I ordered two Jalapeño Chicken Pockets, and they were irresistibly savory. Each bite was crave-worthy, so it literally hit the spot. The parking lot had ample spaces available for customers. The inside of the establishment presented as spotlessly clean. I also used the restroom and it was well-maintained. Lastly, the Starbucks team provided exceptional and friendly service. Overall, this specific Starbucks location is up to standard. I've been coming to this location more regularly since it's the closest Starbucks on my way to work. I usually use the mobile order pick-up option. My order has always been ready timely whenever I use this option. Recently I did a mobile pick-up order, and when one of the employees saw me waiting at the mobile pick-up area for 1-2 minutes, she asked me what I ordered. After I told her, she said it wasn't in their system and that I might have selected the wrong location on accident. I checked my Starbucks app and she was right -- I totally selected the wrong location for my order. She sweetly said, "No problem, it happens all the time. Then the employees quickly made my order for me without me having to pay again. All the employees here were smiling and friendly. I really appreciated the customer service here! I especially appreciated this employee taking initiative and following up with me on my order, as I wouldn't have realized I selected the wrong location if she hadn't checked on me. I recently visited Starbucks and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a caramel Frappuccino, and my total came out to nearly $12. I specifically requested extra caramel around the cup, but the drink was not made as requested. More concerning than the order itself was the customer service. One employee, who I believe is named Emma, came across as having a negative attitude. While I understand everyone can have off days, the overall energy from the staff felt unwelcoming, dismissive, and at times even disrespectful. As a paying customer, I expect a basic level of courtesy and attention to detail, especially at this price point. Do not get Starbucks too often, just needed a much needed pick me up. I usually like a trenta cold brew, however I needed something a bit stronger and I usually do not like the special drinks, I wanted to get nitro but like I trenta cold brew. The Barista gave me no issues and made some suggestions I liked. Also the whole staff greeted me as I walked in, one said welcome in a bit late (seemed like they are working on doing that more) but I appreciated it. So many locations get bad reviews because of one bad interaction. Which is I'm sure deserved but like this location it seemed it was better and or at least really trying on their service and quality. They're clearly busy making 100 million different drinks, they don't really have the time or extra energy for small talk? This is my go-to Starbucks whenever I'm in town. I took my niece here for a quick afternoon date to pick up drinks for some of the fam. When we walked in, we were quickly greeted by the cashier and one of the baristas. They got our order right the first time and we were out the door within 10 minutes. Drinks were delicious as always. My niece even ordered a cake pop to enjoy as we chilled outside for a bit. As of Thanksgiving weekend 2020, indoor seating has not resumed but there are some tables and chairs outside. I hate when I order a hot brown sugar oatmilk latte with extra pump of brown sugar and made decaf, but get a venti brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. I order a latte cuz I want something hot. When I told them today that I ordered a hot latte, they looked irritated. I waited another 15 minutes and followed up on my hot drink. They haven't made it and look even more irritated explaining that it was rang up as brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. I'm sorry but I normally don't get upset when this happens, because it does happen. But don't act like you're irritated when I'm the one who has been waiting for something you did not even start making after I told you that's not the correct order. This is a good looking Starbucks from the outside. The inside is the same as most of the newer Starbucks with a pretty big seating area inside and outdoor seating is also available. I have ordered a mocha and it is ready in a few minutes. The taste is good and the drink is hot. No complaint on the drink. The mocha meets my expectations of a Starbucks mocha. The shop has very few customers inside at the time, but some tables are not cleaned and the floor is dirty, garbage and used napkins on the floor! It doesn't match the image of Starbucks! The parking lot is pretty empty at the time. But I have seen a couple homeless in the parking lot! I am not too concerned because I have my car parked right in front of the main entrance. read more

I like going to this SB location as it's down the street from my work, and I can stop in real quick (at times) and pick up a breakfast sandwich (Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon Classic) which is the general go to. Or maybe an Iced White Mocha Frappuchino with no whip. I've found recently that my new earlier work start of 8:30 can be a peak time for customers, so you can end up waiting mad long from time to time. So word of advice, get the Starbucks app on your phone and make your orders through there. Because to combat the long lines this SB location has made a separate pickup area, for mobile orders from that of the regular pickup area. And the mobile order line is ALWAYS a lot shorter. So now I just load some money onto the SB app, order when I'm 10-15 minutes away, and then walk in and out with my order in like a minute or two! read more

Stopping by on the way to Christmas with my family, I parked the truck, put on and fitted my N95 mask, to avoid contracting any number of serious respiratory diseases (I am elderly, co-morbidities that compromise my immune system. I then walked in, waited in the queue relieved that a large group of people together joined the queue behind me. At the order counter I ordered my typical Tall Hot White Mocha, then paid, and settled in the waiting area near the delivery counter. While waiting I noticed that all seven employees wore masks, except the gentleman who was preparing my drink. Curious about this I asked for a supervisor and was greeted by a "shift lead worker", who explained that since the employee had not been exposed to COVID he wasn't required by state law to wear a mask. I commented that I too hadn't been exposed to COVID yet found it necessary, with doctor's recommendation, to wear a mask nonetheless. I then refused the prepared drink and asked that somebody wearing a mask make a new drink for me. The lead worker said okay, then went back to her other work, making no effort to assign the task she just promised to anybody preparing espresso drinks. Clearly, at best my drink went to the back of the line. I left without waiting. Later, I contacted the store to explain my concern and seek some sort of redress (at least, a gift card for a Tall Hot White Mocha since they couldn't prepare on that I thought satisfactory while I was there). On the phone I spoke to the "shift supervisor". Her response to my concern was similar to that of her subordinate and wholly inadequate. She snarked that could always call the Starbucks 800 number, which I intend to do. It's pretty clear to me that, at least at thestore operational level, Starbucks, ESPECIALLY the Starbucks at 3539 Bradshaw Road in Sacramento, as no time, no patience, and utterly no concern (no matter how loudly they protest) for either the convenience, or health and well-being, of their customers. I recommend that the potential Starbucks customer reading this NOT stop at the Starbucks at 3539 Bradshaw Road in Sacramento; the poeple there DO NOT CARE about you, even if you are their customer. Friendly staff and drinks are always consistent. I'm a little further from this location but it's always worth the drive.

I should start by saying that the staff at this particular Starbucks is very nice and friendly, more than other Starbucks I've visited. That said, this store has issues they need to address. For starters, it is surprisingly dirty. There is always litter scattered around the floor and the cream/sugar station is consistently sticky and dirty. Same with the restroom. I've found this to always be the case, even just after they open in the morning. It's like they never cleaned the store after closing the night before. That's usually an indication of either absentee or complacent management. I'm surprised Starbucks corporate doesn't do a better job of enforcing compliance with company standards. The other main issue is the slowness that several other reviewers have mentioned. I don't think we can blame the employees for that, however. There are simply more customers during peak times than the store is staffed to handle. One thing I do find bothersome is that the store appears to give higher priority to mobile orders than those of walk-in customers. If they get 3 mobile orders and one walk-in order at the same time, they'll make the 3 mobile orders first. Shouldn't it be the other way around? They have no idea when the mobile customer will show up yet the walk-in customer is already standing there, waiting. read more

Out of all the Starbucks I have been to, this location is a-okay. It's always super busy around lunchtime so do your best to come before/after 12PM to 1PM. I recommend getting the breakfast sandwich, it's so yummy. Something I think is missing is customer interaction and service. I usually do mobile orders and pick up. At other locations, a barista will hand you your drink and tell you to have a good day. At this location, your drink and food will be waiting on top of a bookshelf and sometimes there isn't a straw so you have to grab one across the store. The last time I was here, all except one napkin dispenser was empty. I walked all around the store before finally finding it.
