    Popcorn Chicken
    Shirley W.

Came by here for a Friday lunch/snack, was craving popcorn chicken! This was the nearest one to me and haven't checked it out before, so sureee. Very cool that they have a drive-thru here! The space is very pretty and nice lighting. Definitely very clean and cozy. Plenty of parking. Ordering was quite easy since it was at the kiosk. The popcorn chicken was about $10, which is kinda up there for the price... also for the portion size, they use this paper to funnel it in a cup, which reduces the portions of having it actually it the cup they serve. The chicken pieces are also on the smaller end, not so chunky... I feel like the crunch texture was there, but they're missing that taiwanese spice and basil. The flavor was not quite there. Overall, the space is very pretty but the popcorn chicken was pretty mid. Expected better since it was most reviewed from here. Otherwise, it's a very nice hangout spot. Probably suits best for high schoolers.

Osmanthus Milk Tea with Crystal Boba

This is my 4th or 5th time here since their opening. I have tried their original boba milk tea, ceylon milk tea with mochi, Jasmine milk tea, and their new osmanthus milk tea. To be honest, all of their teas taste basic as in they taste on the lower end when it comes to tea quality. The upside is that the drinks I ordered all have toppings included in their price. I think I have always paid under $7 for a drink at this place. When I got the email about their new item Osmanthus milk tea coming out 7/1, I was pretty excited. I finally tried it out today and was pretty disappointed. The tea was overly floral and tasted artificial. I've had osmanthus milk tea from other places, and have grown a liking to it, but sadly this version was the worst one I've had. Their drinks also don't allow you to customize the sweetness more than regular, less, or none. I am glad they can do no ice though. I usually get no ice to taste the tea as is without it being diluted. The upside to this place is the interior. There is a lot of seating. This is probably the most seating I have seen at a boba shop. They definitely encourage hanging out or doing tasks indoors in their seating area. It is nicely air conditioned and has a lot of natural lighting. I'd recommend if you can find a seat to enjoy the interior. Service inside is mostly self order at kiosk. They are pretty fast with their drink preparation. I think I waited less than 5 min for my drink. Drive thru is also pretty efficient. They accept card only. All in all, if you want a place with ample seating to hang out or avoid the heat for a few hours, this isn't a bad place. Their tea isn't the best, but also not terrible. If you're not too picky, then this place is for you.

    Popcorn Chicken. It's really tasty!

Summerfield Tea Bar is a popular local tea shop that opens late in the evening (1 am) and offer a drive-thru. They have a good selection of drinks (hot/cold) and snacks such as popcorn chicken, salads, fries etc. I have known this tea shop for quite sometime but reluctant because of the mediocre reviews. I went for a late night drive-thru and had a hot green tea x boba and popcorn chicken x ranch sauce. Their breaded popcorn chicken is soft, tasty and by far the best I had ever tasted in the SGValley. Similarly, hot tea was okay. Drive-thru was convenient. Female staff was nice and affable. Prices seem fairly higher than most tea shops; they charge $1 for toppings and/or dipping sauces (ketchup, ranch and sweet sour chilli). Service was spot on. Overall, I enjoyed my tea and snack and their service. I recommend them.

The snacks here are pretty good especially while studying! i always get the fries and they're usually pretty consistent. Service is great! Super friendly workers. There's also a self-kiosk in the front. There's a lot of tables inside but it gets filled up pretty quickly, so if you're planning to study, try to get there a little early.

Food: - Legend of oreo: drink was on the icier side and could've used more oreo flavor - Popcorn chicken: spicy one was superior, good texture and quantity Seating: - plenty of seating for chatting or working - parking lot is a little small, but manageable

I still am a frequent customer here, and it's a consistent spot to get a nice drink while working remote! Everything is still true in my previous review, however I have noticed that the music here is often times super loud, making it hard to work without noise cancelling headphones. I sometimes have a hard time hearing my friend who is often sitting across or right next to me. Other than that, their drinks have been great and I'm so happy about the new Munchie Combo addition to the menu! The combos are super appealing because you can get a drink for essentially another couple dollars, which is a steal if you ask me since most of the time I'm getting a snack. Their app has also been really helpful so I can snag a seat during rush hours without having to wait in line for the kiosk. Overall great spot but be sure to bring some noise cancelling headphones as music played pretty loud.

The good thing is they open late, even on weekends days! A lot people come here in groups to chill or do work. They have free WiFi. They also have a lot of parking in their private lot. If you don't want to stay, they also have a drive thru! The reason I don't recommend Summerfield is their drinks are just ok. I would much rather spend my money elsewhere! Sorry :(

During my time at this business i feel it's important to share concerns about cleanliness. There were ongoing issues with sanitation and maintenance that did not seem to be properly addressed. I believe customers deserve a safe and clean environment, and I hope improvements are made.

Came here to kill some time with AC and was pleasantly surprised by how large and spacious the interior is! They have a large parking lot and a drive through for drinks. I got a matcha drink and enjoyed my time reading. I do wish the experience was quieter, as the music and patrons could be loud but most were quietly working on laptops or eating. I look forward to trying more items in the menu next time.

Really spacious boba tea spot with a lot of seating. You order at a kiosk, I got the matcha latte with regular milk and normal sweetness. Drink was okay a little too sweet for my liking next time I'll adjust the sugar level.

    Leeza D.

We ordered the matcha latte and it was very average. We did like the parking, the drive thru and the large space. Kiosk ordering. Please come and create your own adventure.

Midnight Milk Tea. Wifi was out that day. :(
    DM S.

I came to Summerfield one Sunday evening, having hoped to settle in and get some work done. I ordered my drink at the kiosk and settled on the Midnight Milk Tea, half sweet with grass jelly and crystal boba. It may have been that fates that day were against me, as the WiFi at this cafe was out. There happened to be a lot of younger people there as well that evening, so it was difficult to concentrate on the work at hand due to the noise level. Lastly, it was a bit of a struggle to get to the outlets underneath the booth seating. It's kind of a shame, because I liked the drink I got. The grass jelly went really well with the earthy and creamy milk tea and had a flavor profile like those jelly desserts at Meet Fresh. And for two toppings it was price appropriate. So tldr: good tea to-go place or social spot, otherwise not for me.

Amazing cool atmosphere with good airflow. Restrooms in the back. Plenty of tables and chairs plus bench seating in the back. Saw a lot of people with their laptops and a cup of coffee in hand. Seventeen flavors of ice cream available which is a lot more than I remembered when they first opened. Single scoop for $5. Double scoops for $8.50. Split for $0.75 (not exactly sure what this means). Extra $1 for waffe cone. They offer free samples. I tried a few flavors... Vanilla Lavender, Coconut Pandan, and Very Mango. Unfortunately, they were all very light for my taste. I prefer deeper flavors. I ended up getting double scoops... Young Coconut Ube and Japanese Okinawa Brown Sugar. I love coconut and ube in general. I didn't taste much of the coconut flavor. Ube stood out more with its smooth and intense flavor. Brown sugar wasn't super sweet. It had the perfect hint of sweetness. An amazing pair of flavors. SO DELECTABLY GOOD! I would get this combo again. Thanks Bro for the sweet treat! After an hour plus of enjoying our ice cream and chitchatting, we went for coffee and tea. Yes, we got the best of both worlds that day. I chose Affogato that came with Fika Expresso Blend and one scoop of Japanese Okinawa Brown Sugar. Expresso had a smooth and deep roasted flavor which I enjoyed very much. Each complemented the other so well. What a spectacular combo, however, it needed one more scoop of ice cream which I ended up getting... should have gotten two more scoops. Staff was super friendly and helpful plus very patient with our many sample requests. We may have tried all flavors between the 6 of us LOL. Thank you Landon (hope I spelled his name correctly) for the extra attention and service. We appreciate it. The croissant was flaky and crisp, and the inside was packed with crunchy pistachio kataifi, chocolate, and a generous amount of pistachio cream. I also really enjoyed the Kimchi Bacon Garlic Roll. It had a great mix of savory, slightly sweet, creamy, smoky, and tangy flavors. The Raspberry Rose Lychee Croffin was lighter and more refreshing, especially after being chilled. The raspberry, rose, and lychee flavors worked surprisingly well together without tasting too floral. Even the Almond Croissant had a nice surprise inside with lemon custard, which helped balance the richness. Their flattened croissant was also incredibly crispy and reminded me of an extra-buttery palmier. I paired everything with the pistachio coffee, which was another standout. The pistachio cream topping was thick, rich, and actually tasted like pistachio instead of just flavored syrup. There are so many creative items here, but the flavors still feel thoughtful and well balanced. I would absolutely come back for the pistachio croissant, cream puffs, and coffee.

Top it off with their mango star jellies and you won't be disappointed! I recommend 30/50% sweetness.

From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by the wonderfully fragrant aroma of freshly brewed tea. The shop features a clean, minimalist interior with a handful of tables, making it a great place to study, get some work done, or simply relax with a drink. What keeps me coming back, though, is the consistently friendly service and the outstanding quality of the drinks. **Wintermelon Green Tea with Boba: 5/5** This was an exceptionally well-balanced drink that showcased the best of both flavors. The wintermelon contributed a subtle smoky, caramelized sweetness with delicate sweet gourd notes, while the green tea balanced it beautifully with a floral, earthy finish that kept the drink light and refreshing. Soft and pleasantly chewy, the boba provided the perfect textural contrast to the fragrant tea. I also really appreciated how accommodating the staff was. They happily customized my drink by blending green tea with the wintermelon and even had me sample it beforehand to make sure the flavor was exactly what I was looking for. That level of care and commitment to quality is something you don't see everywhere. After countless visits over the years, Nest Tea continues to be one of the best boba shops in the area. From its thoughtfully crafted drinks to its attentive service, every visit has been consistently enjoyable. It's the kind of neighborhood tea shop that keeps you coming back, one perfectly brewed cup at a time.
