The sushi was fresh and delicious, but my favorite was the salmon collar. I've had salmon collar at many places before, but this one was exceptional. I don't know what they put in it, but the flavor was amazing, especially dipped in the ponzu sauce. The ambiance was beautiful, with cherry blossom decorations throughout the restaurant, blossom stickers, and soft pink-toned dim lighting that created a warm and cozy atmosphere. It made the whole dining experience feel even more special. Friendly service, great food, and a wonderful first experience. I'll definitely be back! Too bad I forgot to take a picture, because the presentation of that sushi looks appetizing.

The dragon was a CA roll with spice tuna on top, a pretty basic roll but executed as such. The item they give is nice but look around on the walls and order from there is what I recommend.

The owner personally came to our table to greet us and served each of our dishes, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious. The baked salmon and crab roll was excellent and much larger than I expected, which was definitely a pleasant surprise! The chicken udon was flavorful and generously packed with chicken. To top it all off, the takoyaki arrived fresh, hot, and perfectly prepared. The ingredients include: salmon, masago, seaweed, imitation crab, green onion, furikake, fried onions, cucumber and ginger. It's a cute simple poke bowl. The rice was fluffy and the toppings were fresh. I enjoyed the bowl, however, I wished there was a bit more salmon or toppings because the rice was quite a lot. Build Your Own Poke Bowl: These are the following items I chose inside my bowl: - Base: half spring mix and white rice - Protein: salmon and yellowtail - Sauce: sweet ponzu - Toppings: mandarin slices, corn, cucumber, and edamame This was a lot better than the classic salmon poke bowl. I think it was because you get to pick your own sauce. PSA: There is no restroom inside the shop, however, if you ask the staff they will give you a code to a restroom located a short walk away.

I'm kind of guessing on the exact contents because I couldn't find an actual description on either the menu or the restaurant's website. The soft shell crab was easily the best part of the combo, although that's admittedly a pretty low bar. The hand roll and baked crab pieces were passable. The California roll was more akin to something you'd find in a Ralph's grocery store sushi section than at an actual sushi restaurant. I also had the unfortunate experience of trying the salmon skin roll. The salmon skin may as well have been jerky. It didn't have that light crispness, but was extremely tough and not enjoyable at all. Definitely would pass on that. For basically $30 for this combo, I honestly think you're better off going to an actual sushi restaurant like Aikan. SushiStop is probably fine if you just want quick, cheap sushi, but if you're looking for a meal you'll genuinely enjoy, I'd probably recommend going elsewhere.

For example, today I stopped by to get a take out order because it was the quickest option on my way home from work. I got an order of their rainbow roll, which is supposed to be varieties of fresh fish on top of a California roll. The California roll they put it on was like half the size you would normally get of that roll, and had hardly any rice on it/ the outside of it. One piece of the fish looked and smelled questionable, so I didn't even chance eating it. The ginger isn't even fresh, its in a plastic packet.
