So every time I order in person I get romaine, shredded kale and wild rice. Today I ordered online for the first time and I was not able to get the romaine, kale and rice like I do in person because it only allows you to pick two bases. I thought maybe I'd add a note asking for it...only there's nowhere to add a note. So then I thought I'd call the store directly...only that didn't work either because the system is completely automated and the only option is "chat" with "support" which takes up to 24 hours for a response. I am so sick and tired of how aggressively every business seems to be leaning in technology. Something that should be so simple has now become so incredibly frustrating all due a complete lack of HUMAN customer service and compliance. I'm honestly baffled. It's saddening because, as my previous review shows, I LOVE sweetgreen. Been a loyal customer here for a while, but today is when that ends. I was eating my salad that already smelled different than usual, and was suddenly met with a very odd taste after a few bites. Initially I thought they added something that I didn't ask for until I looked down and noticed a pretty large sized bug. Mortified, I tried to contact sweetgreen but their number doesn't even let you contact the team members. They give you a number to text, which was responding rather quickly up until I told them about the bug in my food. After that, crickets. Placed an online pickup order through the app yesterday and unfortunately was missing some ingredients. The app makes it easy to modify your salad bowl however you'd like but two items were sadly missing from my bowl. I used the mobile pickup option once before and everything was perfect and no items were missing, but this time some of the items were left out. While my salad still tasted great I was a little let down by the missing items , reading some of the other reviews it seems others have also gotten some ingredients left out of their bowls so I'd hope that the employees here double check that they aren't missing anything. read more

I found the Sweet Green training staff day on EventBright.com and they literally gave away full size salads in eco friendly Bio Bowls to the people that came in. This is a definitely watch for more openings; and no I do not work for them... They were just so kind and the salad was so fresh and good!! I plan to watch for more training events from this place! I also took the time and asked the people around me what they thought to make sure I give you my honest opinion; We all loved our salads! The Staff I met, Shannon and Cody, greeted me (N) with a welcoming smile. Safa made me a great salad with my favs in it. It didn't feel like a training day at all! You just have to check this place out! They open Tuesday 3/7/2023 and the special event for that day is that Sweet Green will be donating a salad to a local organization that provides free meals to the under served of our community for every salad ordered. I frequent Sweetgreen and on 7/5 I visited the monet location while ordering my usual..I notice a new menu item..Caramelized Garlic Steak. I was curious abt the flavor and asked if I could sample. Chalsea L quickly responded with "no we don't sample" Not a problem..purchased my salad and sat in the dining area...shortly after, a patron ordered her salad and sat across from me and began eating..she consumed a portion of her salad and from what I could tell, she did not like the dressing she had chosen..so she politely took the partially eaten salad back to Chalsea who accepted the container..which was extremely unsanitary...made her a new salad and allowed her to sample multiple dressing by pouring in small cups and having the patron dip her finger in the dressing...now under normal circumstances I would not yelp...but in today's climate it is so important to me that there is a level of consistency when dealing with the public...I don't feel it necessary to indicate race...however, I'm sure it is apparent. read more

I usually shy away from salads because I don't care much for creamy dressings and haven't found a salad dressing I love. I'm more of a fan of Asian salads and their fish sauce based vinaigrette. For 10 bucks your salad comes with four non premium toppings. I had cherry tomatoes, beets, red cabbage (should have been red onions), and marinated mushrooms. For my protein I had salmon, which was over cooked, and was absent of any flavor. The mushrooms was probably the best thing. Dressing was sweet honey mustard - it was ok. A girl with blonde hair and a braid who worked today 10/5 at 7 pm helped me today. I asked for a side of sweet potatoes and she didn't give me a full scoop and I watched her as she gave me 3 pieces of sweet potatoes. It didn't fill up a quarter of the plate. She was gonna charge me full price and an extra scoop. I used to work at a sweet greens and know that is totally wrong in the serving size. She was very rude too when i asked for the full scoop and I ended up not getting the sweet potatoes. Customer service was terrible from her.
