The food quality has really dropped since the store originally opened. It was really good, however, I've noticed the food is not as fresh anymore. The salad is sometimes old and the toppings are old as well. Tomatoes and cucumbers seem to have a bad taste, and you can tell by the condition of them that I wouldn't purchase those if I was buying produce in a store. My last salad was the hummus crunch with Pepperoncini were very old. When you realize how long Pepperoncini lasts you can see these were really old. It's truly sad. I have ordered here multiple times and every time i order online they always mess up my order. I ordered food tonight and i paid extra for two scoops of roasted sweet potatoes and goat cheese. And they were not there. It's extremely disappointing. Secondly I ordered hot sweet potato's and they added a small amount not even a scoop! and they added some sauce that i've never had before and it made my mouth itchy. It did not come with the hot honey sauce it was a sauce ive never had before and i have allergies to specific foods. Their service has gone down a lot since they had first opened. First time visiting, I ordered the caramelized steak bowl and I was so disappointed. The meat tasted old, like it has been sitting in the back of a fridge for days and then cooked. The new business energy had officially died. 6 months ago, you were greeted with a smile, no wait, clean and organized kitchen, generous portion, containers were full, and you walked away knowing you were going to have a great meal. 6 months later (AKA today!)- nobody to greet you at the counter, forget the smile, the food counter dirty, food containers half empty, smaller portions but what got me.... they got so lazy that the apples were huge chunks and the sweet potato are now big circles? For $16.00 , you should be basically paying for not just the taste but the whole presentation. You might think who cares if the sweet potato are cut big and round? There was a lot of seating when I came in before the lunch rush. The workers were nice and I got my food quickly. The Italian chopped salad was okay the dressing wasn't too sour but overall it wasn't super memorable. I'd try one of the protein meals instead. According to my friend, hot honey chicken was apparently flavorful but if you want something more filling you should replace the quinoa with rice. Its conveniently located across from Gold's Gym right if you want to get a healthy feeling meal after a work out. I'm writing this review WHILE I'm devouring my meal, THAT'S how good it is. I've never heard of this place until I walked by a few months ago, however I didn't get to try until right now. Very spacious and clean as you walk in, plenty of seating, staff are super nice and patient, it's perfect here. The menu mainly consists of protein/salad bowls, and they all sound tasty just reading each description. I ordered the Chicken Pesto Parm, added arugula, and instead of Sweetgreens hot sauce, I asked for heavy Caesar and medium Pesto Vinaigrette drizzled on top. Have returned a few times since writing my original review, and it appears they've made some changes! Hours have been more consistent, and even last night 1 hour before closing they still were making fresh food rather than 86'ing an item for the night. Absolutely love it here and will come as often as I can, they have the best healthy options out of any other casual restaurant, and such great flavors too. Of course - this comes with a slightly higher price tag but it is 100% worth it. Almost everything is organic, and everything is cooked in either extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil. There are no nonsense ingredients and all of it is prepared with purpose. As a side note - Jewel, thank you for being so friendly! Great service makes great food even better. The last time I went to this location for a Cesar salad, they were out of Romain lettuce, and the lettuce was subbed for kale. Which the kale wasn't as good as the Romaine lettuce in a Cesar salad. In the end my crispy rice bowl was smothered with sauce when I had asked for medium, not extra heavy, all the salad leaves given to me were old & slimy and there were no arugula? Unless I'm unaware of a change in this bowls ingredient list...that goes to show that certain ingredients as stated on their bag & promo as "we start with the best ingredients from farmers we know and prepare them fresh every day" is not true.
