I like this place, and they were open this evening when many places were closed. I am especially a fan of the pot stickers, lettuce wraps, Ma Po Tofu and General Tso's chicken. The hostess can seem a little abrupt, but that's fine -- it's just part of her personality. Most recently, I came during the snow/ice storm, and was very happy just to be able to get a hot meal. They served me another very good meal, which I took home. I had no power, and so this meal was appreciated greatly. I will tell you that when I am looking for tasty and filling meal on this side of town, this restaurant does a great job of scratching that itch. read more

To preface, I'm asian and if I could give 0 stars I would. This place is dirty and the people are rude af. I ordered salt & pepper pork (served in 99% of Chinese restaurants) I was told I was not an "authentic" Asian. When some items that we ordered never made it to the table the waitress told me I never ordered it even though a table full of witnesses said I did. I've tolerated this place because it's a favorite for my co-workers. The food is consistently over-saturated with salt and sauce. If you get a chicken dish, make sure it's crispy or you'll end up with sorry soggy meat that has the consistency of gummi worms. But the portions are a good size, so you'll get a lot of soggy meat for your money. I do enjoy the fried rice. After sampling many other items off the menu, I find them mostly a bust apart from the crispy sesame chicken. However, I can't say anything bad about the service. The people there are wonderful and friendly and never have any issues with splitting checks for large parties. The atmosphere is nothing special, but it's very clean and well-kept. I ordered delivery of MEDIUM spicy kung pao and chicken fried rice. What I received was very disappointing. My kung pao consisted of an entire can of cubed water chestnuts, a half cup of raw peanuts, a few modest chunks of chicken meat, and a basic glaze made of Oyster sauce and corn starch. The spice level was rock bottom ZERO. The kung pao could have used some celery and maybe some onion to bring some life to the dish. I stopped in here today to have lunch with my daughter. When we first walked in the cleanliness and dark interior were a red flag. There was animal hair all over the chair, the floor hadn't been vacuumed in what looked like a long time, the dishes weren't clean... the list goes on. I didn't even let that deter me from ordering because in my experience sometimes the hole in the wall , dingy places have the best food. This was not the case. We ordered bbq pork, sweet and sour chicken and general tsao chicken. Our meals came with fried rice and egg flour soup. We got a lovely pot of tea that was perfect, the soup wasn't too bad but had chunks of tofu in it that just wasn't expected but fine. Then the pork came, I've never seen bbq pork be so many alarming shades of most likely spoiled before it was cooked and came in a plate full of some kind of juices. The texture was off putting and the flavor was sour. Then our entrees came, neither the sweet and sour or general tsao chicken was cooked thoroughly, they were rubbery and very under cooked. We didn't eat one full piece off either plate. I asked for my check and she wanted to know if we wanted boxes. I politely said no thank you it wasn't cooked all the way so I didn't feel safe eating it. She said "oh sorry" and brought me my check for the full $35 which I paid. I wasn't going to make a scene or demand that she take the uneaten and unsafe food off of my bill. This is not how you conduct business or run a restaurant!!!!!! If the food is unsafely cooked you have a responsibility to make it right or not charge the customer for the food. I am beyond disappointed that we wasted money and were just brushed off. There was only one other table there and it looked like they could use some good repeat customers, which we would have been had they treated us better. Thumbs down !!! read more

POOR customer service! I've been coming here for more than five years, and I must say the customer service has declined significantly even though the SAME workers are still there in the front. Today, my brother ordered Singapore noodles and accidentally forgot to mention that my mother has a shrimp allergy. My mother called back and politely asked to remake the food due to her allergy. The lady on the phone rudely told her that she would NOT request the chefs to remake the food the next time she changes her order. Then, when my brother picked up the food, she told him the next time we make an order mistake, they will "not give [us our] food." While this restaurant accommodates GF diets, it's appalling, that after several years of being loyal customers, we are spoken to so poorly. read more

I've ordered takeout from here every couple of months for my family of 5. Generally spend around 100$. The food is decent and I think I've only ordered once or twice when it didn't satisfy (in other words, its been pretty consistent). None of this matters to me, anymore. There was one item missing in my order yesterday. I called in and she said come back and we'll have it ready. When I got in, the lady at the front desk (the coordinator?) said that they knew they placed that item in my order but "just take this one anyways". I don't appreciate being called a liar over some stupid General Tsos chicken. This place was a four star to me prior to this visit. I vote with my money. I have eaten here on serveral occasions and it was worth return trips. I was pretty frustrated recently as I ordered serveral entrees yesterday to go and my son and I got violently ill. I called to let them know. I am also a restaurant owner and no one likes to hear about this and most people will not call and let you know. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes and then when the "manager" who said his name was Tommy came on the line he said, "you can't prove anything", call the health department and hung up on me. We've never been to the actual restaurant itself, we've always just ordered from grubhub. I can't speak to the cleanliness or customer service, but I can tell you that this is our favorite Chinese food in our area for delivery. The food is always hot and fresh. So far. I'll add some pictures tonight when our food gets here. The pork lomein noodles are super yummy. We also love the general tsao chicken, and the lemon chicken. My only complaint is that they usually forget certain sauce packets we request, and chopsticks. Because we obviously can't eat Chinese food without chopsticks people! For apps one of our favorites is the chicken wings. They are super yummy! The food always has great flavor, and always comes in pretty large portions. I would definitely recommend these guys for delivery! I'm not sure if they only deliver through grubhub, but I would imagine so. read more

Absolutely avoid as they don't really want your business just your money. The food here is inconsistent. I have tried it multiple times and I will never be back what finally did it for me was calling in 15 minutes before it closed to get some fried rice and them informing me it was too close to closing to make an order by phone and I would need to show up in person and wait for it to be cooked! I assure them I was less than 10 minutes away and would be right down but she insisted that they would not cook the food for me until I arrived. Another time I showed up at 9:00 to eat dinner and was informed that since they closed at 9:30 I could only order to go and not eat there. The lack of customer service here is astounding! read more

Pros: The place is nicely laid out, very clean, comfortable Service is good, quick, responsive, my glass never ran out The sauce on the sizzling pepper steak was unbelievably good Cons: The steak was so tough I couldn't force my fork to try to cut it apart My server said "Oh, OK" when he asked if my food was ok and I told him the beef was too tough The "crispy" scallion pancake was mostly too thick, tough and chewy, only crispy on the very edge The take out container leaked the unbelievably good sauce through the container, through the bag and onto the carpet of my car on the ride home Update: The manager was concerned enough to reach out to me and assure me that the server was new and has had additional training to avoid incidents like this from happening again. While I can't take him up on his offer to pay for my next meal, I am encouraged enough to go back sometime and pay for my next meal there and let you know how it turns out. read more

This is our go to for American style Chinese food, we've been coming here for 5 years, 2-3 times a month, lunch specials and dinner. I've never had a wrong order or had a problem, getting something swapped out. Yes we've waited, sometimes for awhile, but they do a HUGE!!!!!! I love how easy this place makes it to order online via Grubhub. We've only ordered take out from here. Unfortunately it's usually because we're too tired to drive farther (to Szechuan Chef). They always have it ready fast and are friendly at the counter. We've gotten the scallion pancakes, mu shu pork, crispy shrimp with honeyed walnuts, salt and pepper calamari, and sizzling scallops & beef. The scallion pancakes are usually a bit too crispy, but they are decent. The mu shu pork and sizzling scallops & beef are standard. The salt and pepper calamari is usually pretty good but can be chewy sometimes. There aren't too many places nearby that have it on the menu out here, so it's a tradeoff. We came once for Chinese New Year looking for fish only to realize they don't have any on their menu. We ended up going to Wu's Open Kitchen that night. read more

It's a decent place for a last minute large group. They are not too busy and have large open seating. The food is just ok. Some of the dishes are good and some of them not so good.
